@@nikhiljain7358 Not really. If we are talking fast bowlers, Anderson, Broad, Mcgrath, Walsh, Kapil Dev, Steyn and Pollock had more test wickets than Akram. Also some of them have played for a lesser time period than Akram but have better stats. You can't deny that Jimmy is a GOAT, he is playing in a batting dominated era and still took 700 wickets. Akram, Walsh, Ambrose, Kapil played during the time when conditions favoured bowlers or atleast neutral for both batsmen and bowlers. Yet Jimmy has more wickets, more 4fers and 5fers, almost comparable Avg, Econ, SR.
Simple put, Wasim is a legend, But James Anderson is the test format's greatest fast bowler of all time.

It's a shame to see him go, but all good things have to come to an end. As an Australian, I have nothing but respect for Jimmy, he has always played with dignity and always put in 110%.

They both had a great battle, Tendulkar averaged 49 against him in Tests and Anderson got Tendulkar 9 times.
Kohli averaged 53 against Anderson in Tests. But Kohli wasn't technically as sound as Tendulkar.
Nothing better in cricket than watching anderson swinging the ball both ways and troubling the batters in England

This is coming from either a Vadapav or a Dhobi fan. Because those who are Tendulkar fans are Kohli fans. Tendulkar averaged 49 against Anderson and Kohli averaged 53 against Anderson. Both Kohli & Tendulkar are 2 of the greatest 5 batters of all time while both Vadapav & Dhobi don't get included in top 20.
