Glad to see you add a pair of Whites. BHs are a great choice, but I thought you might go for MP-M1s as they seem more similar to the Truman’s you buy. Regardless I’d like to hear more about how you think they compare to Truman’s. I have a pair of Packer pointed toes as I like cowboy boots and they have the 690 arch ease last which I highly recommend. I also have a pair of Drew’s linecutters which I believe are made by Whites. They are nearly identical to smoke jumpers. You will get used to the stacked heel that is shaped in, it’s a standard shape for PACNW boots (Nicks, JK Boots, Franks, ... all have them). I do like your boots, they are really good looking, but I wish you would have opted for a different leather. These seem similar to a Truman’s leather. The packers, stockmans, ranchers, they are true workboots and I’d love to hear your opinion on one of those models. Wesco, Nicks, JK, Whites, Drew’s and Franks all make packer boots, maybe try a pair if those if you want to get way away from your comfort zone.
Oh man! I ordered a super similar makeup but on the 5050 last and the MP custom builder with a half sole. Very excited for whenever they get here (also ordered during the Black Friday 2021 sale).
Great looking boots! I'll be interested to see how you like these boots in the future. I'm thinking of getting some Nick's or White's boots later this year. That olive waxed flesh is probably my favorite waxed flesh color as well
These ROCK!!! 🍻🔥🔥🔥 Your pair is actually decently clean 😅 VERY sharp makeup you created dude- that OWF is always epic, but you utilized it with mass effect 🙌🏽
Great pair of Whites , Dale. That Oilve WF is something else too! And congrats on taking over Jimmy's kilties orders. Glad he's super busy at his tattoo artwork craft once again.
My dude, I know it's ironic that you don't actually prefer them yourself, but you will KILL IT with your kilties. I'm genuinely excited for you and for myself, because I have a couple of pairs that could use kilties just as spacers to keep the tops of the vamp from touching. I will be on the lookout for the official rollout and plan to be among your first customers. And if you want to go ahead and do a prototype pair for some Grant Stone Edwards in Waxed Tobacco, I'd be happy to test them for you. :)
No prototype necessary they work well in that boot already! instagram.com/p/CJynu_WDvYN/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y= instagram.com/p/CJ37E7TjLh8/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y= Dale will have many styles to choose from. Hang tight
Hey Dale, great video and beautiful boots! Just curious on your sizing experience with the bounty hunters? Did you size down at all compared to other boot brands? Or did you go the same size as you did with your nicks?
Can you compare your alden indy boot and truman boots in 79last to your white's in size. I keep getting different sizes from different sources. You and I seem to have the same size. Thanks in advance
I wear 8.5 in all though they all fit completely different haha! The whites have a high arch, whereas the Indy’s and the Truman’s do not. The Indy’s are the widest in the toe box. The Truman’s probably fit smallest of the 3 but fit my dimensions perfectly
is some of the welting and seem stitching...sloppy? Definitely don't look like the precision of Flame Panda or the Indo makers. Thoughts? Also seeing some wierd leather work at the welt-stitch, outsole, so would love to get your thoughts on this, given the price
I think we run the same boot size in most boots. How did these whites feel in a 8.5 ? I wasn’t sure if I should buy a size 8 because if the arch on the 55 last what do you think just stick with a 8.5?? Ty
Very nice boots, I have a pair of custom olive waxed flesh MPs built on the 55 last from Bakers. They are amazing and have broken in nicely. Bakers does incredible work. Mine took almost 8 months! Worth the wait tho. This leather can take a beating. I love the contrast stitching
Parkhurst are much lighter. Whites and Nicks weight are going to be about the same. Both were originally the same company. If you contact Shuyler from Nick's, on style forum tell him your size and shaft height and sole he would tell you what the weight would be. The same could be said if you contacted Andrew from Parkhurst.
@@DalesLeatherworks But when I wear my BHs in 8 or 14 inch height, they don't 'feel' heavy..sturdy yes, but due to good design I don't feel the drag when walking or moving in them. Hard to explain.
after two years of killing my feet in a pair of iron rangers then going over to a pair of Nick's Roberts, I just can't imagine ever having a cap toe again. Nice boots though....except those Trumans; moc-toes are bad enough, I never understood their popularity, but whatever is going on with that outsole is making it 10x worse for me
There are some on Instagram with double his collection, so it's a personal thing. Other people are into stamp collecting, guns n ammo, luxury watches, etc. Big world out there. :)
This dude needs boots like Elon Musk needs money
LOL 😆
Yup… these types of buyers are the ones jacking up the cost and wait times
Bounty hunters would be my go to if I had to pick one boot. Very comfortable.
One thing I can guarantee watching these videos. Dale will be very excited.

Very sharp boots my friend. Whites makes a great boot and this custom make up looks fantastic. Enjoy and best regards!

You should be getting them soon then I estimate!
You have become my favoutire boot-review channel. Please do a walkaround of your Boot-Shelf, pretty sure it will be awesome!!
Thanks so much my friend!!!

6:01 Maybe a basic question: What are raw hide laces exactly? Untanned? Undyed? Unfinished?
They’re essentially just leather laces, they make them out of all kinds of hides
@@DalesLeatherworksOkay, I see. Thanks man. Those are cool boots.

Thanks George!!! I feel blessed and humbled!!
Great to know you'll be doing the kilties from Trinity Handmade! I just installed one of them today.
AWESOMMMMMMME!!!
How do you work out your rotation? Sounds like you need a calendar/planner that informs you of what boot you need to wear every day.

White's are my brand, I love them .I have 3 pairs.
Aren't they just great! I have 2 pairs in the 55 last, and they're perfect for me.
@@georgecarlin2879 Yep. All of mine are on the 55. They fit my foot perfectly too.
Rawhide laces look, feel, and wear awesome! These bounty hunters are a little intense for me, but glad to see you've boarded the White's wagon.
Thanks Stephen! Happy to be on board!
Any idea why one boot has more nails than the other?
They look great and will only look even better with wear 👍
🤣my wife asked me stop watching your youtube because i kept buying boots and she says you are bad influence

these are the nicest boots I've ever seen.. and i sincerely mean that..
you wanna sell em?? lol i think you're my size boot... figured id ask..

If you’re 8.5 in most boots I’d recommend 8.5 in these. They’re a generous fit but so overbuilt and so much mass they feel perfect
Very nice
Why is the heel so high?
I love my pnw customs from Frank's.
I see Horween Olive Waxed Flesh, I click.
Perfect example of, just because you doesn't mean you should...

Awesome review….just awesome man cool!!!!
Just curious, how many pairs are you up to?
Over 100 now!
Do you have a scale to show the weight difference between the whites, nicks, and parkhurst?!
Parkhurst are much lighter. Whites and Nicks weight are going to be about the same. Both were originally the same company. If you contact Shuyler from Nick's, on style forum tell him your size and shaft height and sole he would tell you what the weight would be. I need to! Whites and nicks are HEAVY
Pankhurst is 29 oz., Truman 39 oz., GrAnt stone brass boot 40 oz., Alden Indy 30 oz., and Nicks around 45 oz. Thats for size 11/11.5

Bounty Hunters are no longer on the White's website. (Dec 2023)
Are you concerned your collection is getting to be too much? I don’t think it’s possible to wear all of those boots.
