Thank you for more meal prep ideas! This takes away some of the stress of deciding to what to make for lunch or dinner when some of the dishes are already made or ready to cook. I'm looking forward to seeing how you use those dishes this week.
Thank you for this video! I’ve been trying to get in the habit of meal prepping to make sure I’m eating healthy throughout the week. Also, your editing is cute and funny☺️😆
@@MiwasJapaneseCooking haha thank you. Basically it's an East German salad where you throw together spring onions, a sour apple, boiled eggs and pickles, then mix a sauce of mayo, yoghurt and the juice from the pickles jar and lastly, you cut the boiled potatoes into thin slices. Add salt and lemon juice to taste and chives if you like. My grandmother used to make it with white onions instead of spring onions, and my mother makes more sauce than me, she also often boils the potatoes softer. I guess family recipes evolve over time 😅
During quarantine, I watched a lot of your videos and still get so inspired to cook more Japanese meals. I am visiting Japan in less than two weeks and although I know I won't be able to cook meals there, but I'm so excited to try some new flavors that I can learn about and bring into my cooking when I come home! Thank you for making these videos and I can't wait to try more of your recipes!
ありがとうございます Miwa-sensei for the video, it was informative and entertaining at the same time! And so many dishes in only 2 hours, that shows skill and routine!! At the same time, everything was "true to life" and therefore it is a good incentive to try it yourself. またね!
Your green microwave bowl is so cute, it looks like leaves that fold over. It's handy to have the lid attached so you don't have to search for the right lid.
I always enjoy watching your videos ! The meal prep is a must and i m impressed about how much you were able to do in two hours ! Great job , bloops and all 😉
Oh I love this video, Miwa-Sensei! You're so cute lol! Your meal prep is amazing! I hope to get as good as you one day... soon! I need to do the week's meal plan you put together for us! xxoo
your comment shows you were staying very at the end 😭✨❤️means a lot!!I have been too shy to show my authentic self but so nice to have a comment like this 🙏feeling closer😉Thank you ✨✨
How stressed you were filming and cooking at the same time makes it so much more realistic and likable for me haha XD What do you do with the dishes after the meal prepping? Putting it in the fridge or in the freezer? And how long are they eatable?
Yum! I love Japanese pickles~Tsukemono is amazing for gut health I always prepare it when I do eat Japanese food🤍where I live, falafel is super popular it’s like the tofu of the Middle East! And pickled vegetables are eaten with it, carrots, radish and cucumbers, sometimes cabbages too!🥕🥬Miwa~San hope you can do a vegan tofu katsu curry recipe! I’ve been craving it recently!
What is Kombu please ? I cook Mediterranean diet but do not know much about the kombu or the sauces that you use. I would want to know more, your cooking looks delicious ! 😊🤩
What you call 'new onion' could be the same as what Germans call 'Gemuesezwiebel' (vegetable onion). You can cook it as a vegetable, in stews, stirfrys, pies or put raw in salads.
BRAVO! Whoa, so inspiring - to simply dive in and accomplish the task💫 By the way, I love the charm of your 'reinterpreted' phrasing - far more interesting than the common vernacular ( I have been an ESL teacher stateside and overseas since 1999 !) 😊💫❤️😁🙃🫶 Please feel free to be Yourself 🦋
Miwa-san, have you tried cooking your sweet potato in your rice cooker? I often cook it in mine in turbo rice menu. It’s done in 10min.
no 😳💦✨That's a great idea!! I will try that❤️
@@MiwasJapaneseCooking just be sure to put enough water for it to steam. Normally i add 1 rice cooker cup of water per 500g sweet potato.
