I have one of each role at 90, going to get a melee Dps and a ranged physical up ASAP. Cleared EX 1 and got my gear. Going to EX 2 this weekend for the weapon
I'm in the "once I'm at 90, there's so much more to do" crowd. I am splitting my focus between gather/crafter and one of each role type so I can do all the role quests. I leisurely level after that while working on other end game content and then once I get omni 90, I'll turn my sights to completing older achievements, logs, or mount farms. I don't focus on efficient leveling, I focus on what's fun for me that day. Sometimes, it's FATEs for bicolor gemstones, sometimes it's side quests, or roulettes. In Shadowbringers, I ran Trust dungeons as dps to level the NPCs. Endwalker isn't making me level them, so I won't do those as much, but when I don't want to deal with other people, I'll use it.
When I go 90 with my jobs (PLD, WHM, SAM, All DoH & DoL) I will try SGE and probably SMN. After that is done (and in between), I'd get into crafting & gathering. I want to also get to do the EW Extremes, I never touch Savage/Ultimates because I get stressed out lol, I play the game to have a good time, got enough stress in my life already xD So yeah, crafting, gathering, fights here and there, I want to unlock also Eureka, haven't touched that content yet.
it´s interesting how experienced players advocate to "nejoy the game, plkay the story, take your time", but when an expansions comes around they rush the story to get all classes to max level
I’ve been playing this game for almost as long as Brian (with more off periods) and I have barely scratched the surface of the game content in comparison. I have never **takes deep breath** done Eureka, or Palace of the Dead or Heaven on High, or any Savages, much less Ultimates. I need to level 17 jobs to 90 because I still don’t have my amaro mount, and get the respective relic weapons. I need to level both crafter jobs and gathering jobs to 90. I have just started using glamour and doing PvP. I only have 67 mounts and 197 minions. The amount of stuff I can do, never mind want to do, is enormous!! 😱 So yeah... here’s to another 3 years minimum lol 😂 Thanks in advance SquareEnix and Yoshi P. 😋 Thank you gentlemen for this video! Stay safe. ❤️ PS: Taking my Alt through the MSQ again is definitely on the list!
Enjoy your Endwalker journey Brian! I'm currently still progressing through msq myself, so have fun! :) btw, I think you guys should watch the closed captioning. lol
one floor in this game is you dont need to do crafting to actually level it.. i got all my crafters/gatherers to max lvl just from doing dailies at the grand company
Yeah, you can add guild wars as a non-steam game and in big picture mode create a controller profile, using either a steam or Xbox controller. I believe there is ps controller functionality, too. And this has been a thing for at least a decade.
Once I get all jobs to 90, I choose the ones I enjoy the most and learn them all the highest level I can. Much of why I was able to remain engaged all throughout the end of ShB was that I had so many different jobs to learn in different fights across all roles. Very fun, and I'm ecstatic to see that most jobs moving into Endwalker have improved a lot.
I got Botanist to Level 90 already, just by gathering rarefied perilla leaves in Thavnair. I need to gather Thavnair rocks to get my Miner to 90 but he's already halfway to Level 86 just by gathering rarefied Manasilver Sand in Rat'ika Greatwood. (I am going for the 8000 gathered collectables achievement.) Fisher is not moving because I plan on it leveling the Qitari beast tribe to max rank and then just spearfishing, I guess. All my Melee DPS including Reaper are Level 80 now(I am doing MSQ with Reaper so it's 90% to 81) and just doing beast tribe dailies and stuff. I have used level skips on all tanks but Gunbreaker(which is Level 68 now, 90% to 69), Bard and Machinist(which is Level 65, it's my lowest level battle job), and White Mage but I used Wondrous Tales to get it to Level 73 and then hit a roulette to get White Mage to Level 74. Sage is Level 73, Astrologian is Level 67, and Scholar/Summoner, which I adore, are sadly lagging at Level 66. I used Level skips on Black Mage and Red Mage as I don't really care about them, but Blue Mage is at max level because I was enjoying the limited job! So thus I have 480 levels left to grind through(if I cared about Dark Knight, Paladin, Black Mage and Red Mage, which I wish I didn't have to :() to get Omni 90.
Sch/Smn 90 Both raid ready. 3 DoL pentamelded out. Working on pentamelding DoH since im forcing myself to grind materia and not just buy it have been spiritbonding for 9/10s which extras have already netted 25+ mil profit. Leveling BLM (83)/GNB (84) while trying to cap shared fates should be done with zone 3 and 4 today. 5 and 6 will be this weekend :)
They kinda do reward you for getting 90 when your doing the main story quests you get told about the merchant in the hub and he gives you free 90 gear at 560 ilvl for your left side of your characters it's pretty pog

It’s been a neat thing to come out of a series of making it hard for Brian to play. Would have never thought of it and I’m really thankful to get to do it
The best diablo 2 mods are always the ones that take the items you can only get if you do the season, and make them able to be gotten in normal local playthroughs. There is no "equal footing" with the people who cheat even in ranked, even though that was meant to stop them. There is no trickle down to the non ranked players as seasons turn. So I say, let me play at my own pace, by myself (maybe with players 8 or players 256), and if I want a mod that lets me make ladder only items, so be it. Course, the best version of this would be a mod that replicates all the features that they added and refinements they made and mods them into original diablo, including the new runewords.... Cause who wants to give them money right now, acting like activision does?
I may have my part of responsibility in not taking time to learn but as a relative beginner to the game (started at 4.4 for Shadowbringer) deep dungeon and bozja are super intimidating with all those items. I feel like the game is not super good to learn how catchup content work if you were not there you missed a huge part of the learning process attach to it
I was thinking of coming back to the game. Only have a bunch of 50s. After watching part of this video I'm just discouraged and I don't really feel like just grinding xp for months
You don’t need to focus only on leveling. There’s plenty else to do. However, if leveling does become your focus know that you will have a ton of different ways to do so. The biggest problem I found personally, was choosing which job to level first. 😅 Whatever you decide, if it isn’t fun, please don’t force yourself to play.
Yeah best thing to do is find the job you want to max first / main possibly and spam the main story quests without doing anything else, once that's done you can do whatever with all other classes/jobs.
I'll give it a try during the holidays, thx guys. I'm guessing its no use getting the expansion before I get to the required level. Unless you can play the new jobs earlier but I think you need to be 80 right?
All. So Omni in this use means all 90. We are trying to max all classes as a race against each other. Some people are already there but we are racing each other. Brian entered the expansion with a 58 level lead. As of right now he’s 47 ahead of me but honestly I think he’s getting faster lol
Well, I can't say much on Endwalker, I'm like maybe the 2% that wasn't liking it as much as majority of it. I'm very very lore heavy and I'll leave it at that as in gameplay I'm still trying to find the mmorpg side of it all and eventually will try to level all jobs to 90 and yes I like FF14 but it hasn't reach the love part yet as of FF11. Vana'diel feels like home to me still. But I hope later down the road FF14 can make me feel that way as an mmo and more since I have done savage with no echo, I do feel a bit achieved also in ultimate fights aswell and having titles for a small flex is something I hope get some down someday in my lifetime and find that right group, but a part of me wants something more just hoping I find it in FF14 and if not then I'll just find something else that can catch my interests in mmorpgs FF11 and hoping the best for New world to improve.
Unfortunately, the MMO aspect of it won't kick in until after you've finished the MSQ. This is pretty much the norm for all the FF14 expansions due to the MSQ gate and people are advancing through the content at different rates. The MMO aspect will kick in once more when the raids come in 6.01.
I’ll tell you what to do quit! FF is a great game and has a great story. However like everything good in life it is entirely possible to ruin a good thing by over indulging. If you really love FF then play the story enjoy it maybe do a little raiding for the current expansion, and then quit, give it a break for a while go play something else and let the flavor haunt your pallet so after a while the desire will grow again and when you finally do log back in it will feel much more fun and prolong the joy much longer. Also it will allow other people to login and enjoy the story as well whereas you have already completed it and are now just looking for things to do during your idle time within the game. In a time where the server queues are One of the biggest problems to the point where the developers have given people 21 days of free playtime and have halted all current sales of the game this is huge! So I say again the best thing you can do after you hit 90 and complete the MSQ is just quit don’t login again for maybe at least a few weeks to give others that have a limited time schedule the chance to experience the story themselves. I feel like to do otherwise it’s just being selfish.

To me it’s a great game but just one of the many I own and have subs to. Not to mention all the single player games I’ve collected and not beaten etc. after all right now Is the season of giving.
