Honestly, a Loki S2 end credits scene was the last thing I was expecting. I was so happy when I realised what it was. Would definitely be happy with them having post credit scenes that tie directly into the shows.
I just realized that the square teleportation portals that the Kangs use to enter the colosseum look a lot like the one Mr. Fantastic used in Multiverse of Madness, hinting at their familial connection.
Regarding Kang's multiverse travel, I think it's because in the MCU time and space are linked. As we saw in Endgame, to travel through time is to inherently travel through the multiverse.
Yeah this. In the MCU you can’t go back in time and come back to the present without hopping to a diff timeline/reality (unless you were Doctor Strange w the time stone but that has been gone for a while now). I imagine it’s all linked together, but the writers on these things have got to be careful not to contradict their own logic and slip up, especially with characters like Kang, Wanda, and America Chavez whose powers all kind of use the multiverse/time differently.
Yeah, the two are linked. It's only in the Multiverse of Madness that we see really strange universes like the one where red means go and green means stop. LOL. In _Avengers: Endgame_ it's said they can't go back in their own timeline, but time travel creates a new branch of reality. And that's what the TVA was trying to keep in check, while also protecting "the sacred timeline." The other thing is that Kang needs the time travel device that Tony Stark developed. It would make more sense for him to come across it a couple years after it's invented than having a series of improbable events where it passes down to him over a thousand years and he just happens to have the same name as his ancestor, Nathaniel Richards. I guess it could be a name in good standing, like Mohammed, that everyone names their son?
Omg to think we'd be ending with the Kang that started it all just blew my mind. Now the "see you soon" remark that he who remains said to sylvie hits so differently now
If Loki is the one who found him, that makes sense that at the end he wanted Loki and Sylvie to continue to run TVA and make sure there's only one timeline and no kangs. (As the sacred timeline's Kang he who remains dies)
I love how Loki (the first villain of the Avengers) will help defeat the last (probably for a while) villain of the avengers. It’s going to be a true redemption arc for this version of Loki 💚
I think I would have preferred if Ant-Man found one piece of the puzzle and Loki the other, and the Avengers get those two pieces to end the Mulitiverse War and Kang. But having Janet know it all and not say anything, was both a cop-out as somehow she reads his mind or history and made anything Ant-Man might learn irrelevant.
Oh wow, that IS a great theory. So the end of the Multiverse Saga will be Victor Timely, now He Who Remains, setting up the Sacred Timeline. Ending where it began and seeing the journey of Majors’ Timely as the centerpiece. That’s pretty good 🤩🤯
I hope if they show that city where he is the mayor, they put it in Wisconsin. Timely, Wisconsin just has a nice flow and ring to it, and no i am not from that state.

I’m burned out of all the movies being a long drag - advertisement of what’s to come with very little to no payoff, instead of focusing on being good content. Glad people are still enjoying it tho
I agree with you. This variant stuff is super hard to follow and doesn’t seem well thought out. Cheapens characters, as it did the reveals in Multiverse of Madness. Bring back one timeline. Sick of it.
During the post credit scene it sounds like the Time Keepers were referring to He Who Remains being dead and not Kang the Conqueror since that's when the timeline started to break in Loki.
It really is too confusing for normies since it's very confusing for even us nerds! Marvel made a mistake when they kept on insisting that timelines are the same as universes. That's just too confusing. There are simpler versions of the Multiverse theory. They made it even worse since they've been using timeline, universe, realm, dimension, world, reality all interchangeably whereas they are essentially not the same.
You said you don’t read much of kang and it shows. These kang variants are comics accurate and prove they’re not only being faithful but each variant will pose different threats which is awesome.
I was watching your review yesterday and you were right, Hope was not a main player in the movie-why is she in the title. Then I realized that she wasn’t. The Wasp in the title was Janet!
Well, at least we got to see Michelle Pfeiffer fight. Big mistake not having her and Hank in an action scene at the end of the last movie. Someone said they hoped to see her again as Catwoman in _The Flash,_ and I would too.
The multi-verse, time travel, the quantum realm, the universe *below* the quantum realm ... It's too much. It's a mess. Few of these mechanisms feel well defined. And, on top of that, Marvel are trying to introduce a major villain in Kang who doesn't feel like a major villain because he keeps getting beaten. I'm not impressed with the writing. At all.
Watched Quantamania this afternoon. It looked very Star Warsy, I didn't care much for the new Cassie actor 😕 & felt sorry for Corey Stoll who was so smart & charismatic in the first Ant-Man film 😍🔥👍 I still rate the second film the best of the Ant-Mans so far but Quantamania was certainly an improvement over Thor Love & Thunder & a good introduction to Kang. I don't know much about this character so will be doing some research.
I agree with you on the costume party part, when I saw the end credit scene it felt cheap to me just because the suits Rama tut and Immortus Kangs were wearing looked like they came out of Party City, so much for quality over quantity lol
I think that the scars we saw was because of his beat down by fantastic four. Reed came to know about his descendant firm 31st century and they try to stop him going back to the future. This explains the rage on his face too.
This movie was completely devoid of originality, cleverness, charm, and scope. The quantum realm was basically a building that they went to for an afternoon to defeat a boss with fisticuffs.
Immortus is a good guy in the comics. I wouldn't be surprised if the entire multiverse saga is undone by a good Kang like Immortus or Iron Lad. They should have set up the different Kangs in different entries. Rama Tut should have first appeared in Moon Knight season 2, skrull Kang disguised in Secret Invasion and Immortus in next Avengers
I saw the movie Grace and your end theory was the one I came to loki is becoming very important to this saga. And Victor Timely will be the variant that replaces he who remains at the end of time the old good version of Kang. And I don't think Kang is dead but the part where he becomes the beyonder was interesting I figured he was just sent to a secret place in the TVA to hide out and regroup until Kang dynasty but if it is set up where the teams are built up until they fight all those kangs and than a beyonder power version is secret wars that would be amazing and crazy.
I really want to see a Loki and Thor reunion and hope they do in Kang Dynasty because it makes sense now that Loki was there and Kang mentioned killing Thor.
I was quite stunned at the low RT score. To be fair, it is not a perfect movie. But I almost feel that the critics are revelling in nitpicking to make sure that the movie gets trashed. Every show will have problems because art is subjective. I came out really enjoying show in spite of its flaws.
The post credit scenes were so BAD! Now the Kangs losing their shit was great, but this all looked like terrible SNL outtakes. Scarlet Centurion has HELLA Wesley-Snipes-Demolition-Man-vibes
Love your explanation Grace! But I have to say, after spiderverse, Loki and the variants, the multiverse and now the skrulls with secret wars I will NEVER understand what is what and I don’t understand the decision to bring all this stories at once… They are too close to one another to make any sense…
I was giving Jonathan majors benefit of the doubt since Loki. I have to say I’m not feeling Kang, idk if it’s the character of the actor. Everyone is saying Kang is so awesome but to me he doesn’t even come close to Wanda ( the best MCU villain )
From now on, when fans start clapping and cheering when watching a Marvel movie, we'll all say that they're acting like the Council of Kangs from this post-credit scene.
@@fahimalfaisal7781 Lol! You think I care at all about your stupid little internet comment to me? Grow up. I hope you are okay. Sad to see trolls like you…
I haven't seen a Marvel movie in a long time, this doesn't make me want to go back. So confusing and an overwhelming sense of having to catch up. Feels like I'm drowning in Marvel stuff.
I agree with a lot of your points but with the Egyptian Variant I sorta see the costume as Kang’s interpretation of ancient garb before actually going back and looking but that’s more head canon.
I think what they are doing with Kang being the main big bad of Phase 5 is complex, but in a good way. We won't look at Kang the same way in every movie he shows up in. I think that's a smart way to go. Keep us guessing. This also shows just how wonderful Loki (The show) is to the MCU. It's the glue holding everything together and was a true standout amongst a lot of the MCU fare we've been getting.
Feige really seems to be leaning into the 90s Avengers Forever comic! But I really like your theory about Timely, and it would be really cool if he teamed up with Loki as Prime Avenger👀. So much fun to come in these next phases!
While yes it feels like tangled christmas lights, I think this is when the MCU clicks even for non really comic book ppl. Dang really is just great. I must say that I agree, but I don't know is Timely is Who He Remains but will see in Loki S2. I think gettin back in the connecting story back is the way to go, I don't know who can skit Loki but now its a must watch show from the begging. I also think The Conqueror was killed. Great video !!!
Grace, love these videos! If you wouldn’t mind though, it’d be nice to have vaguer thumbnails, I feel like I’m already walking on eggshells to avoid spoilers if I don’t watch the movie opening night
i still think the mid credits scene felt cartoonish and silly i hope they treat kang better in the mcu moving forward bc i did not buy him as a multiversal threat yet.
I was surprised that you didnt know who some of the varients were but as an old comic book nerd they are instantly recognizable to me. Rama Tut first appeared in the fantastic four and in one time travel story feature Doctor Strange that retold that first appearance was really cool. Kang appeared in the averngers and they is one more varient the Scarlet Centurian
It's interesting you mentioned Frederick Douglass because that's exactly who he reminds me of and I also saw a recent interview of Majors talking about him. Maybe channeling that energy already.
Damn you, Grace! I love your Loki Season 2 theory so much that I fear the show won't rise to that level of story telling, and I will ultimately be disappointed.
I loved the variant Kang scene of all him in a coliseum. Shows Jonathan Majors acting range. It was the best part of Quantumania for me since I thought his movie performance was just okay.
He nailed his performance, but these writers since post-Endgame do not know how to write great villains anymore. He should have trapped Scott and Hope.
I really feel like fiege could’ve made this better. Instead of antman 3 he could’ve made a villian centric movie with kang explaining it all. Have him discover Tony’s formula for time travel have kang travel to ancient Egypt where years pass and then he is met with immortus & centurion and they explain that they need his help to stop kang the conqueror who is taking over every earth in the multiverse.
i really enjoyed both scenes, funny that the KANGS were more mad that one of them actually got killed also interesting that they exiled him instead of killing him themselves.
Uhm it's headed towards Kang Dynasty. It really made sense. Majors was dope. He was intimidating when he speaks subtle but when he got outbursts, he was threatening, imho.
If Loki is the one who kickstarts He who remains journey in 1901, it makes sense that at the end he wanted Loki and Sylvie to run TVA , maintaining one sacred timeline and no kangs after his death.
As someone who hasn't read a single comic, I disagree about being at a disadvantage. I actually think those who read it are at a disadvantage because you can't enjoy the storyline for the first time. We don't know what's going to happen. When I watched the first post-credit scene, I understood these were all variants. It's a lot like how The Council of Ricks work. Rick and Morty got that from Marvel, so if you watch Rick and Morty, then you can follow this concept fairly easy.
The post credits scenes are the pivotal components of this movie sad to say. The rest of the movie could be missed without missing a beat. Loved that they revealed the Council of Kangs and hoping that there will be many more post credits that show what strings these variants are pulling. Also loved the tease for Loki S2. Looking forward to the hunt for Kang across time and the multiverse.
I wanna see a Kang go through famous scenes from the MCU and change history. Whether it gets a rewind right after or not, I just wanna see Kang going through and killing the avengers at different points in time, even into the xmen timelines and stuff, that would show how much of a threat he really is.
I really was expecting the Kang council to be all of the Kangs just standing still, face lifted up and had hands in front of their chests, all looking toward the center of the “stadium”? That’s what would make him looked so much scarier
Would be crazy if kang the conquerer who definitely did not die in Ant-man was actually the he who remains that loki meets in the show. Would round it off nicely just like time.
I am beyond excited to see more of Rama-tut!!! hope they get to expand his story in a future mcu project! By far Kang has been my favorite villain, also ordered his marvel legend figure!!!
This sort of time traveling is explained in 'Dark' series..Someone from future goes to the past to build the technology from future making it a loop...It's called 'Bootstrap Paradox'
Honestly, a Loki S2 end credits scene was the last thing I was expecting. I was so happy when I realised what it was. Would definitely be happy with them having post credit scenes that tie directly into the shows.
I was initially upset it wasn't F4 but than I heard Owen Wilson say he don't look so bad to me, and Im like nvmd I love it.
Not having singular Villain is a bummer and
it is going to hurt marvel in long run as people will have hard time following and also hard to root for.
I just realized that the square teleportation portals that the Kangs use to enter the colosseum look a lot like the one Mr. Fantastic used in Multiverse of Madness, hinting at their familial connection.
Remember he used it in Dr. Strange 3 Multi-verse of madness.

I thought the same thing!!
Regarding Kang's multiverse travel, I think it's because in the MCU time and space are linked. As we saw in Endgame, to travel through time is to inherently travel through the multiverse.

Was looking forward to the vid t all day! I’m fully Invested in Jonathan Majors Kang and this movie got me really excited for the future!
Watched Quantamania this afternoon.
It looked very Star Warsy, I didn't care much for the new Cassie actor 😕 & felt sorry for Corey Stoll who was so smart & charismatic in the first Ant-Man film 😍🔥👍
I still rate the second film the best of the Ant-Mans so far but Quantamania was certainly an improvement over Thor Love & Thunder & a good introduction to Kang.
I don't know much about this character so will be doing some research.
Loki season 2 should feature Deadpool at the Season Finale. 2nd post credit should be Mobius pulling up Deadpools and Wolverine file.
great idea
@@BeyondTheTrailer To the victor goes the spoils so Victor Timely is He Who Remains.
When I saw him. I thought it was Frederick Douglas. I was like... Wow. Frederick Douglas in the MCU
Me too lol. I feel like the costume department did that on purpose, how could that be an accident that he looks so similar?
I think Grace is gassing Johnathan majors to be better of a performer and having a better performance then he truly had
He is an incredible actor and gave an amazing performance !LOL
Immortus is a good guy in the comics. I wouldn't be surprised if the entire multiverse saga is undone by a good Kang like Immortus or Iron Lad. They should have set up the different Kangs in different entries. Rama Tut should have first appeared in Moon Knight season 2, skrull Kang disguised in Secret Invasion and Immortus in next Avengers
just hot home from the theaters. the movie was ok, my mom and aunts were lost but thanks to you Grace I was prepared
He Who Remains says in Loki that he is from the 31st Century
I was giving Jonathan majors benefit of the doubt since Loki. I have to say I’m not feeling Kang, idk if it’s the character of the actor. Everyone is saying Kang is so awesome but to me he doesn’t even come close to Wanda ( the best MCU villain )
Good on me for hating Jonathon Majors before it was popular
I am not a comic book reader. That's why I watch people who explain all this stuff.
🤡
I wish marvel fans would’ve gave dc a chance and had the same energy about waiting for threads to come together after bvs
Thanks for all the coverage Grace. Much ❤️ as always
This may be my favorite video you've done yet! Great job!
From now on, when fans start clapping and cheering when watching a Marvel movie, we'll all say that they're acting like the Council of Kangs from this post-credit scene.
Kang sound a lot like Rick and Morty. Might be the reason why same writers
So good! Yes definitely too confusing! I hope they can pull it off. So excited for Loki S2 🙌🏾. Great breakdown Grace!
Agree. Way too confusing! They’re going to lose casual viewers - they already have been! I’m about ready to tap out…
@@JakeMercierFilms goodbye !No one gives a crap anyways !LOL
@@fahimalfaisal7781 Lol! You think I care at all about your stupid little internet comment to me? Grow up. I hope you are okay. Sad to see trolls like you…
I haven't seen a Marvel movie in a long time, this doesn't make me want to go back. So confusing and an overwhelming sense of having to catch up. Feels like I'm drowning in Marvel stuff.
*Thank you for this video Grace I was SO confused about how this would all fit together and now it blows my mind* 😭💀
Major's Kangs are keeping me hooked to the MCU. He's great!
I think you explain this much better than what Marvel is capable of delivering at the moment. Not confirmed
Now it makes why they're hiring all these Rick and Morty writers.
I’m more excited for both Loki Season 2 & Avengers: The Kang Dynasty after seeing this so epic movie!
You do more to get me excited for upcoming MCU products than the actual MCU lately!
I believe that a good variant of Kang (Iron Lad, maybe) will aid the Avengers in Kang Dynasty and Timely instructed Howard Stark. It would be great
My theory is Kang got sucked further into the Quantum realm and will come back as the beyonder in Secret Wars
Kangs powers make little sense to me. Also have no idea what he wants to achieve and how he wants to do it
Thank you Grace for working the whole day to feed us 😍
Best thing about Kang is the only solution is Wanda!
I love the idea of the one who remain, Loki and miss minutes showing up and save the day, how confuse everybody will be and Thor face.
He is a Multiversal threat !LOL
I was surprised that you didnt know who some of the varients were but as an old comic book nerd they are instantly recognizable to me. Rama Tut first appeared in the fantastic four and in one time travel story feature Doctor Strange that retold that first appearance was really cool. Kang appeared in the averngers and they is one more varient the Scarlet Centurian
They need to STOP 🛑 with this whole multiverse thing! It’s literally killing the MCU.
Somebody get Grace in the writers room ASAP
I loved the variant Kang scene of all him in a coliseum. Shows Jonathan Majors acting range. It was the best part of Quantumania for me since I thought his movie performance was just okay.
He nailed his performance, but these writers since post-Endgame do not know how to write great villains anymore. He should have trapped Scott and Hope.
Yeah... But didnt he who remains say he was from the 31st century?
Yes.
Victor Timely (Kang), Loki and Mobius linking up with Howard Stark / Captain America 1 / Ironman 2 timeline ... that is what we need!
Yeah, I like that. But the problem is kang dynasty will do that instead.
i really enjoyed both scenes, funny that the KANGS were more mad that one of them actually got killed also interesting that they exiled him instead of killing him themselves.
Uhm it's headed towards Kang Dynasty. It really made sense. Majors was dope. He was intimidating when he speaks subtle but when he got outbursts, he was threatening, imho.
By the time we get to kang Dynasty they’ll have overdone kang i feel
IT LOOKS LIKE A TIME TRAVEL COSTUME PARTY!
I really love the council of Kangs but some of the variants need redesign to look a little less goofy.
Pretty sad that we're more interested in previews than actual movies as made. Maybe the next _What If?_ should just do previews of what could be?
I wanna see a Kang go through famous scenes from the MCU and change history. Whether it gets a rewind right after or not, I just wanna see Kang going through and killing the avengers at different points in time, even into the xmen timelines and stuff, that would show how much of a threat he really is.
They should have done a "show don't tell," with a scene of him killing the Avengers. If they can do flashbacks with Janet, they could have done that.
So the council of Kangs and council of Mephistos are gonna have a staff meeting about taking over the muktiverse, but then what? Lmao
Grace as long as its good and makes sense to the fans... we will be happy to walk everybody else through it.
