MCFRY heads up to QLD for Frydays - Drifting Burnouts = Fun

- The first 2 day Frydays event Ryan Cobb has held at QR Raceway was one of the best ones yet. The big block chev survived the weekend, I have some small damage to fix up front from the drift demo.
The car handles better then it ever has but I have learnt alot about tyres and tyre pressures for drifting over the weekend, keen to get this back to another drift event very soon.

Im working on it with this car, its very close. Just needs a little bit of sway in the rear and always run a decent tyre on rear. Just needs enough grip so when you go too sideways there is enough grip to pull it back fast. The front could do with a little bit more camber also but its pretty close.

Tandem drifts with fink is always a risk as you know he's gonna be 5mm from you door every corner
What do you think of QR compared to Eastern Creek? I get QR is flat as a tack and the Creek has hills and what not.
Sydney is the best track I have been on, just the way the bends are and track layout it is really fun for drifting.

Mcfry would be sick with like a gforce 4 speed or something 👌🤣
I have thought about it but I dont think it would make it better, the power is on demand how it is now. Manuals also break and do clutches, this auto never gets hot and has been reliable for 4+years now. Manuals are not great for burnouts also so it would ruin the car for that.

Ah that's why it's powerslides like a beast. Isn't quick enough for tight stuff tho
@joz1751 yeah that is what im working on, I learnt a lot over the weekend on tyre size and pressure's. It can definitely move faster with some tweaks, rear antiroll bar needs to be swapped out for something with a bit of give. Minimum 245 tyres on the back also
