- Quick review of the SRRXseats recaro sr3. As you can see the seat frame and reclining mechanism are authentic recaro. Recover job is pretty good no complaints. I was worried buying these seats if they were real recaros or not and there are no real posts or feedback on them so I decided to make this video for anyone in the same position I was on the fence on them. Enjoy.

What's the benefit of buying a set of restored SR Recaros for $2650 from this company vs a set of brand new Recaro Speed seats for $2200 shipped from a US distributor (for a US resident)? I don't know much about how the different models compare. Is it a vintage thing?
Two Different seats. The Speeds look pretty damn similar though dont they? But yeah mainly a vintage thing plus the cool fabric color to fit your build that the OG's came in. I'm sure a brand new seat is probably ultimately better than a redone 30 year old seat either way if you are purely going for function over looks.

I Wouldn't say its sketchy tbh, I'm sure the seats they recover are very worn/ripped etc so they get them cheap and have a decent profit on them I would guess.

I have these seats in black but they need to be reupholstered. I plan to buy the skins from srrxseat. How are you feeling about the fabric quality?

How comfortable is the sr3 seats?
They are pretty comfortable, more roomy than brides. Though do be aware if you buy a refoamed seat like these I thought they were a bit stiff so you'll probably need time to break them in. The downside to that is buying a used non recovered set is the foam is most likely disintegrated in most of them at this point in any of the bolstering.

I've been looking at some of their Recaro rebuilt seats.
It's still a LOT of money and the seats come all the way from Thailand.
What if there is a problem or something is wrong with the seats?
I wouldn't worry about it, just use a method that has buyer protection - ebay, paypal, credit card etc if there is any issue the seller wont work with you on you can always go a different avenue to solve it.
