Are you creating precropped digital sticker sheets for GoodNotes?
How do you get your PNG files to take up the full size? When I drag mine into good notes I have to crop them down before resizing them because there is empty air space. I can’t seem to master that part 😅
Why didn't I look you up on youtube before. This is exactly what I needed! For six months I've had trouble making stickers the same size on a page and organizing them! Thank you for the tricks and tips. This is so easy and convenient! And saves tons of time. Thank you so much.
The amount of time and love you pour into your videos is outstanding! You feel like a best friend! It's like I'm drinking coffee & hanging out with you 🥰 🦋 I’m so honored that your videos are part of my routine 🤍
Great tutorial!
This tutorial is golden!! Thank you so much!! I love the way that you teach - everything is so organised and explained so well. I'm now a fan and a subscriber 😊
For anyone who wants to know how to make stickers with Goodnotes without wasting 30 minutes:
Here is a step-by-step guide on how to create stickers in Goodnotes:
Create your desired drawing, equation, diagram, chart etc.
Select the lasso tool in the tool bar at the top of the page.
Circle your sticker design with the lasso tool.
Select the add element button and add the sticker to your desired collection.
To crop the photo to make It transparent you need to crop it freehand in Goodnotes. That's two easy clicks. Enjoy.
Thanks, but this video isn't about creating stickers in GoodNotes. I have separate tutorials on those.
This video is so helpful, thank you so much 😊
I'd just like to make the note that the color grading is quite dark and makes viewing this video a bit difficult in daylight, so I think more brightness in the future would make for a better experience as a viewer 😊
Yeah the b-roll specifically is too dark and flat. It needs more exposure and some added contrast.
It’s because I forgot to color grade it 🥴 I shoot in S Log, which is why the b-roll looks like that. I was in a rush to get it up since it was late. Won’t make that mistake again. Thanks!
I thought it was me... I try to keep my phones brightness as low as possible 😅
Wow! This a video I was in need of! Thanks! New subscriber here, one quick question, I will do for my personal use stickers that I can link to apps for example my weather, can it be possible thru this app? Thanks
What software do you use to make the icons like the weather ones etc?
How do you create hyperlinks for different colour ways?
Hey, I'm 2 and a half minutes in to the first video of yours I've ever watched, and already I can see that I'm going to enjoy learning from you...but, tiny but... your video is kind of dark and my 52 year old eyes are having trouble seeing. I don't know if this is just this video or all your videos but I just wanted to mention it in case you didn't know that old people need more lighting. :) It's me, not you. Still, love what you've said so far and I'll definitely watch more. I hope you have a fantastic day! 🥰
what size do the Pngs need to be for the first method ?
Do you put the final exported link in a google drive or upload directly to your site?
So will the stickers only work in goodnotes? Also, Canva gives you an option not to flatten the PDF so will that mean the PNGs on the sheet are able to be accessed individually on any program? Great video so straightforward and to the point.
To make a .goodnotes file, you’ll have to add the stickers to a sheet in GoodNotes. There isn’t a way around this. You can create your own branded sticker sheet in Canva to import into GoodNotes and then add stickers to, but you cannot add stickers from within Canva and have them work in GoodNotes as it’s not a GoodNotes file.
Why is the collections option the least popular? I love it
hello I tried to crop and my crop icon didn't show once imported an image
how to export stickers from illustrator but i want to export evey sticker as single one like how you have on files.
but i dont know how to do that. i just know how to export as A4 or whatever the size without background . but when come to export it as single sticker png i dont know.
if you know i hope you help me. thank you🤍.
Can goodnotes sticker files be used in Google calender? I haven't tried yet, just wondering if you or Anyone else has.
Asking because I don't want to have 2 different calendars...😂
I share my Google calendar with my husband and it would be a royal pain to try switching everything over to a brand new system.
Right at 18:40 do you have a tutorial on how your created those planner stickers and color options?
For the colour options she uses hyperlinks! Basically she makes the different colours on different slides and then she
puts shapes on top and links them to the responding colour slide :)
Hello, i love this, thank you. How do I upload the goodnote book of stickers to etsy, it's telling me its too big :( help please
Zip file
Whenever I try to use my Apple Pencil in Keynote to try and select something, it always thinks I trying to write a note. I end up having to use my finger for everything. Is there a setting that I need to adjust so I can actually select things and move them with my pencil?
Open settings in your presentation then turn on scroll with pen
@@fionarecto thank you! 😁
How do you export to a goodnotes file in the other apps, please? Specifically, Canva. I have the pro version but there's no option to export as a goodnotes file.
Would you export as a PNG? And then put that in to the other program she used to make the template?
And then export as good notes from there.
That'sy neat guess.👍👍
Have you noticed recently the .goodnotes file size has been super large upon export? After I updated to 6 and did the recent iOS update for some reason my .goodnotes files are exporting really really large in file size. I thought maybe my stickers were just too large so I recreated a previous sticker sheet - with the exact same PDF as the background and the exact same stickers. The original file size was 14 MB and the recreation exported at 65MB!! What is going on? Have you encountered this?! I have been trying for days to figure out what is going on so any help would be much appreciated!
I want to try this on my windows computer ... Can you do a tutorial via desktop if you have something other than IOS? I also have an android that Goodnotes isn't compatible with...any tips. I've been using Canva to create Samsung stickers sheets but wanted to make goodnotes as well
If you don’t have access to GoodNotes, then this wouldn’t be possible since GoodNotes is the crux of this. GoodNotes is working on a windows version, but will take time.
I have seen planners that have usable stickers in their pages so you don’t have to add them in GoodNotes after purchase. Can you please show us how to do that in keynote in our planners?
I did in another video. You cannot use Keynote. if the stickers are moveable in GoodNotes upon import, they are using GoodNotes. Search the KDigitalStudio videos page for the first video by searching “precropped stickers.”
@@KDigitalStudio thank you so much 💓
How did you get your Apple Pencil to act like a remote on Keynotes? For some reason mine ( the Apple Pencil 2) isn’t doing that.
It’s not! This is Apple Pencil hover, which is a feature of M2 iPads :)
@@KDigitalStudioOh okay. Thank you! Unfortunately I have an iPad Air. So I don’t have that feature.
When I’m in keynotes and I try to use my pencil it makes it automatically draw. I’m not sure if it’s a setting or what but I can’t use my pencil for anything else. 😢
same!
would this be the same idea for samsung notes?
Yes, same idea. Just do the entire process in Samsung Notes and then export as their own file type (assuming they have their own)!
Hi, I used canva for my sticker sheet and dowloaded it in transparent bg. I exported this png into goodnotes file. However when I highlight the element from it, it gives me the whole sheet instead of the highlighted element. Do you know how to make it in canva ? I would be so appreciated if you could answer. Thank you in advance.
You can’t make precropped stickers in Canva. It HAS to be GoodNotes because they’re GoodNotes precropped sticker sheets. ☺️ make your stickers in Canva (on individual pages) if that’s the program you want to use for creating stickers and then add them to their own page or sheet inside GoodNotes!
@@KDigitalStudio Thanks a lotttt for your answer. I really really appreciate. Just to make sure that I'm fully understand, a sticker sheet directly wont work right ? I have to make individual sticker pages in canva and then add them one by one in goodnotes. And then I will export my goodnotes sheet ( with all elements ) as a goodnote file, right ?
When I export these as a goodnotes file, can I upload that directly into Etsy?
When I open my goodnotes file that I try to upload it says file unsupported 😭
@@Ashley_K_Akinmaybe zip the file and upload that way?
I did this but the file was too big to upload to Etsy, how do you get around that?
You’ll need to optimize your actual sticker files. If they’re large, they’ll make the file large too. Reduce their file sizes.
What dimensions would you recommend per sticker? Thank you for replying 🫶
Hello all, anyone willing to help me? I created a sticker sheet in Keynotes, exported it as a PDF, opened it in GN, and then exported it as a Goodnotes document, and the lasso tool is still not lassoing the stickers individually. What step am I missing here? A huge thanks to anyone that can help me.
At what point did you add the stickers? The stickers need to be added in *GoodNotes only* before exporting as a GoodNotes document.
@@KDigitalStudio Hello! Yes, I missed this step. I got a bit confused as your stickers were in PNG and mine were keynotes, I presumed I didn't have to transfer to Goodnotes one by one, but the file would be enough. Thank you for the help!
How is it possible to make such a long video for such a simple thing? Just tell me how to make my own transparent stickers, jeez.
