I’m so glad I found this video. I just started using a digital planner and I use Goodnotes 6. I’ve been using some of these features already like the color coding and HEX numbers for the colors. But the linking…that is next level. I’m so excited to go to my planner today to start using this feature. That is awesome!!! 🎉🎉🎉
GoodNotes would be so much better if they found a way to incorporate your Apple or Google calendar. My calendars are mostly digital so that everyone sees them on their devices. I would love to add stickers and digital plan over those schedules to make it pretty for myself!
I think Apple will eventually have their own version of GoodNotes. They already have Freeform and the Journal app. I think it’s only a matter of time before they create something like GoodNotes that integrates into the Apple ecosystem

I was hoping and prayin that with Goodnotes 6 they would finally give us hyperlinks in documents!!! I am not officially in planner heaven. I have my Planner Pal and all sorts of accessories but I still have always so badly wanted to be able to go to my sections in my planner and with the hyperlinks that is now possible! The other stuff is amazing but the linking is down right game changing! Thanks so much for always keeping us in the loop. I could dance right now!

I did not know the layering technique using it this way or how to link within other planners, Game changer! Hyper Links are Awesome. I guess I need both sets of your icons. I’ve been using Goodnotes 5 for a while for general note taking but only decided to try out digital planning for 2024 so I’m still finding out what works for me as I haven’t put it into practise yet but one of my first questions was whether there is a way to link to pages not already hyperlinked, especially if I want to insert pages or create links to often used pages as you have done here. The fact that I can link to different notebooks as well makes this feature even more useful and does make upgrading to GN6 more tempting.
The biggest savings I think for me is I will only have to have one set of stickers/pages/covers etc. I can have one set and easily change the colors on the fly. What a time saver!

I asked last week what font your were using but realized with all the layouts I wasn’t specific enough! The one that is in your Oct layout that you used for links when you used words, it also was in your weekly layout with all your items on each day. It’s all in CAPs if that helps 😂. I have been all over the internet looking for it!! I hope that makes sense. Thanks for all the amazing content as always.
Love this! I dislike the lines under the linked copy too so I have been going in with a white (or whatever color is on) and draw a line over it. But I guess you could do your text, convert that text to an image then do the empty space link over it like you did. My only annoyance with Goodnotes 6 is that to edit the text you have to hit the arrow over to get to it. Can't wait to see what more you come up with.

Thank you for this helpful tutorial. I’m using Goodnotes 6 on an iPad pro 4th gen ios 17.0.3. I have watched your tutorial and others. I don’t see the eye dropper tool in my color picker. Trying to follow your exact steps. Is anyone else having the same problem?
some had this issue and they didn’t realize they were not on the latest goodnotes. So if you go to the App Store and double check. don’t click open.. click the app where it gives the details and see if there’s an update icon. The second thing to check is make sure you ios is updated to the latest. That may be the cause as well. =)

I wish I saw this earlier 😅Found your website, and saw there are a planner pal and a notebook pal. What are the differences? If I need one pal what would you recommend the most? Because mostly I have digital notebooks in fact, and I do have a planner but a physical one and it was too expensive not to use it. But I could do with some sort extension of it that could add to the physical planner and my digital notebooks. What would be the best option for me?
How do you get to the stickers page on Goodnotes? I don’t have an Apple Pencil 2 yet, I’m waiting for the iPad mini 7. Can I use Goodnotes without an apple pencil for the time being. I’m a newbie to digital planning, don’t have a digital planner yet.
All of our planners and stickers should work on your device. we do have a free notes planner and stickers on our site that you can download and try before you buy. We also have a group on Facebook breezy O family that uses several different kinds of devices. I’m not sure if Goodnotes is available, but there’s other applications that will work.
This might be too specific and random but I wish and hope someday we can link to a procreate design 😅 I want to link a tab to my sales map on procreate so that I can do the whole lining it and then dragging the color to fill in the state instead of coloring the entire thing directly in my Goodnotes.

I agree I wish there was a seamless synchronization , but these are PDFs so it’s just not able to do that.
