Just a tip for anyone doing the dye cut, I have found that I do not get as much pixilation on the edges if I do not blur the white layer but instead just select and increase the size, generally tends to give a more crisp line around the outline

Instead of dropping the colouring onto the outline and then having to colour over because it's not working just right you can just alpha lock and colour the outline before our fill in with your colour. :)

Yep! They are back at little ways on the channel since they are a bit older -- still the same process today though.

Have learned a lot from you. But since I wanted to try and make both digital and printable stickers, I've discovered that although my Procreate files are saved at 300dpi, when I open them in another program, or check their size when I export the png to my files folder, they don't maintain the 300dpi resolution or size they were created at. How do you crop the stickers? when it's the screen size? I like that way more but not sure how to crop them so they're separate

Image tool! Click that and add it as an image. Or drag and drop from photos.
when i do the selection tool with the automatic it just blacks out of my whole page. not sure what the issue is and why i can’t create the die cut sticker

Hey! This was a super helpful video. The only problem I am having with my stickers is when I export them they import into photos/files and then Good Notes as a part of the whole sheet. How do I crop down the sticker? I tried to in the photos but then it put a background on it. Could use some help:)
I hope you find a solution in these two months, but I share my process in case someone else need it.
I import the whole png in illustrator and then I crop and save every sticker, after that I import them on my iPad gallery and then in Goodnotes.
I use Illustrator on Mac but I saw the Illustrator app on the App Store, maybe it works with it too, so you can save some time in import/export.

Thank-you for a really helpful tutorial! I really like the look of translucent stickers, but I can’t figure out how to make them, can anyone help? I’m not talking about having a transparent background, I know how to do that, I mean so the sticker itself isn’t totally opaque. I tried creating them in Procreate to be a bit translucent, but as soon as I export as PNG, they are opaque again.
Adjust your layer opacity.
How do you make all these stickers under 20mb to sell on Etsy?
Fun fact - it’s actually pronounced “led” -ing like a lead weight or lead paint - it comes from printmaking where you would stick thin strips of lead between lines to space them out :) anyway great tutorial!
I absolutely love your videos! But I am struggling with understanding something. If I want to attach the stickers in a digital planner (instead of making a separate sticker sheet), how do I export that planner in order to sell it so that the stickers will still work? I am guessing that exporting it as a PDF won't work, do I need to export it as a goodnotes file? hope you can help me out!
I don't typically add stickers to a planner and then try to share/sell it to others. If you add stickers to a digital planner and still want them to be able to move the stickers, you'll need to export as a .goodnotes file, but that means only people who use goodnotes will be able to use the planner whereas if exported as a PDF, anyone can use it regardless of their app choice. If you export as a PDF with stickers added, it will flatten them meaning that the stickers will remain permanently and cannot be moved.
@@KDigitalStudio Hi K, sorry this is a long shot, hope your able to help. You have said in many videos goodnotes will only read .goodnotes for stickers. My question is- how do I make a procreate stickersheet thats PNG and turn it into a .goonotes file format for goodnotes to read to be able to lasso and copy/paste them- I have tried everything and am at my whits end! You help would be so greatly appreciated!
Thanks for this tutorial. You don’t have to save your stickers in your camera roll I just open GoodNotes and drag the flatten sticker in my sticker sheet and crop it there
You don’t have to, but I recommend since backup copies are important to have

I don t understand smth. I use another app for creating stickers, when I save them as a transparent PNG, all the stickers are in one page. they are not different files. If I put the stickers page on canva and make a digital planner, can I use them separately on the digital planner?
And how can I save Them all without background and each sticker on them own? Because now they are all on one „paper“.

How did you change up your settings so that everything on your iPad is that pretty purple color?
Not sure what you mean. But you can change the wallpaper to purple if that’s what you’re asking.

Not selling these stickers - they are for free :) “Life is good” is protected for t-shirts, hats, and mugs but can be used for other copyright purposes since it’s in a different domain (like making a digital sticker in the case of this tutorial, but in the case of this tutorial, it’s personal use & free anyway)!

I’m just curious… why do you create flags, circle stickers, etc in procreate? Wouldn’t those basic shapes be easier and quicker in something like affinity design? I’m sure u have a reason for it so I’m curious. 😊

After I have exported them as png files, how do I crop them? I sent it to GoodNotes, but it only gives me the option to screenshot. I can’t save as an element or anything. I am assuming that the cropping will help that situation.
Also I took off the background in procreate but when I export it, it comes into goodnotes with a white background. Did I miss something?
