Me and a friend actuallyjust discovered this a few days ago. It's a gamechanger for VR drivers that are prone to motionickness!
Befor this, AC Reboot Daytona was always a choice between: Do i want to get sick from the bumps or do i want my view tilted 30° in the banking.
Now i can have both: Perfect aligned view in bankings and stabile camera on the straights with bumps.

This is the most useful video you have put out in weeks, found the same author has a script for flat screens. On a side note, after watching all your Quest 3 content I raided the piggy bank and had enough for a Quest 3 and an 4070 super but bought a VRS DFP wheelbase and pedals instead.

Very nice, thanks for keeping us up to date on all the AC goodies! Btw, if you can't get the script lines to show up, you probably need to enable untested versions of CM in the general settings of content manager. Close CM, click the update.exe that will appear in the folder with CM, then reload CM and boom the script options will be there.
Just coming back here to vouch for this NeckFX script in VR 👌It adds that even bit more realism to how the car moves in front of your face. Thank you sir for finding this.

I would like to see an updated settings video for basically every mod you use in AC, and current iracing settings, maybe even AMS2. With or without VR

Thanks for sharing the script! Since I'm a poor listener, at first I thought it was just activating NeckFX in CSP. Which at first test made me think, this is just locked to car, it's too bumpy!

I'm on the latest version of Content Manager, full version, running as admin, but the Script settings still don't show up :\ I can just change them directly in the lua file but yeah, idk why it doesn't show up in CM.

I have a big racing setup, yet I prefer to play Grid Legend VR on the Oculus Quest 3. A good racing game/sim in made for VR always win. Just like I prefer Drive Club VR over the big flat sim with VR mode.
I've never been able to get neckfx working with Lua script since it released. Doesn't show in CM, got license etc, not been able to try. Is it worth it on VR, lock to horizon would be redundant as you look freely. I don't think my head movement is bound to car movement at all come to think of it or never noticed. I do have the neckfx enabled by default in CM. Hmm

Hello GM. Have you considered doing a video about Fanatec settings in Assetto Corsa after the latest firmware update? I just updated my wheel, and now all the old settings are lost. The new settings seem very simplified, and I've no idea what to adjust.

you need one of the new paid csp since the neckfx lua script option is pretty new btw.

Wait... what about VR? You did not talk about it, and it seems to me that one of the main points of this script is fixing something about it. In my short experience, since you are sitting and holding the steering wheel, the best option would be "locked to the car" (the one I last used). The horizon thing felt nonsensical in VR. But I have a Rift CV1, which is old stuff now. Please consider making a similar video going on the advantages of using this script while driving with your Quest 3. Thank you for the educational content.
This works in VR and 2D it's doing the same thing. Like I said in the video this gets you basically lock to car but with a smoother view without visual vibrations.
@@GamerMuscleVideos That was my point. In VR, you would want all of the head-shaking emulations turned OFF. About the Horizon lock: At some point of a circuit like Interlagos (on which I actually did a lap in a VW Kombi) you start driving slightly uphill. In AC, horizon-locked camera, you might suddenly start looking at your own (virtual) feet. What of the options of this script are "desirable" if you want pure immersion and realism, in spite of motion sickness?

Real life your neck and eyes and brain filter out a ton of the bumps , this is how we can walk and not feel like someone is slapping us in the face with a fish each step.

Thanks GM. Can you please post your settings for the 4 parameters. It is difficult to read from the screen but I think they are 50, 20, 50 and 0.05. Is that correct?
Also, I'm finding that these settings are not saved when exiting CM, even after doing a "Save preset". I am using latest paid version of CM v0.8.2594.39678. Any ideas?
OK after a few saves, the settings are sticking now. Not sure why, as I have always had CM "Run as administrator". Still would like to check parameters though, thanks.

What is wrong with Real Head Motion? Works perfectly for me.
RHM is fine this intergrates into content maniger though so no sperate things need to be loaded

You need a cable with a charging port.
@@AardvarkDK Thanks for your answer, so you confirm there is no other way to charge it from my PC with the cable i already own? even when i'm not gaming it won't charge on my PC...but if i take the same cable and plug it into a USB wall outlet, then it charge it just fine...thanks again!
@@TechWizMaster Yes, your current cable can only do one or the other. You need to search for "Link Cable for Quest with Separate Charging Port" if you want both functions.
