@Outgoing entertaining man Really? I thought it was pretty popular from the get go, I mean it wasn't like Titanic popular but still remember people only saying good things about it.
Yeah Will Smith absolutely killed it in this movie with the humor and Tommy Lee Jones is the perfect no nonsense straight man. This film was maybe the first movie I ever saw as a kid and certainly the first movie I remember watching, I still remember pretty much the whole movie by heart and sometimes when I struggle to fall asleep I play the movie from start to finish in my head.
Well, I guess it was because he was an alien and that was green slime instead of blood. If it wasn't a comedic moment with Jeebs' regrowing his head back, I don't think they would've played it. Nowadays, they wouldn't bleep 'Prick' lol.
Now i have to find their review on Mars Attacks, here they look like they missed the point of the movie of having nearly everyone around dumb af, for satire
Will Smith was the comedy and Tommy Lee Jones was the straight man, it had the student/mentor thing, showed us alot of alien technology, conspiracy stuff gags, action....... plus Denorfrio was great pretending to be a human 😂😂
Now I want to see a 50s version of Men in Black with Jimmy Stewart and Robert Mitchum.
Robert Mitchum as Agent K, Sidney Poitier as Agent J.
"And Beatrice, you better get a decorator to come in here cause.. DAMN"
R.I.P. GENE SISKEL & ROGER EBERT. YOU BOTH WILL ALWAYS BE MISSED FROM THE HEAVENS 2 ALL OF US... I HOPE.
One of the best movies of the 90's!
This...and The Matrix.
@@astrodad656But if you had to choose. Which one would you prefer. MiB 1997 movie or Matrix 1999 movie?
I loved the original Men in Black
20 years. wow!!!
Saw this at the drive-in when it came out. TLJ was great.
I think they underrated it. I like it start to finish.

Very funny movie.
Nope.
What a timeless classic for all ages!
Love it! Watched it twice at the cinema and enjoy re-watching it on television.
Bored Now We bought it. And watch it often. On my short list of Surefire Laughers. Sometimes I really need to laugh!
@@TheAuntieBa i quote it everytime i go to the bathroom "hey somethings peeking!"
Can't believe Men In Black is 20 years ago.
almost 30 years ago now ...
@@harryshuman9637 easy now.
Well, this film is my childhood so I will never say nothing bad about it

They show a guy's head getting blown off... but the word "prick" is censored.
Phil Michaels I know, right?!
Welcome to 'murrica

James Stewart and Robert Mitchum died the same week? Damn...
One day apart !
Aliens recalled to their home planet.
Good movie.
Personally like the 2nd movie more. But i did love the 1997 music video!
Smart, funny & hilarious 😉👍👌✌
They made two sequels of that film. The second in 2002 and the third in 2012.
+Mark Uyeda I have a hunch they will make a 4th instalment in 2022.
I highly doubt it because either the next MIB film would come out in 2017 or the fact that MIB 3 could be the last time we see Jay and Kay.
And the SEQUELS are funny - and fun: Tommy Lee Jones as a USPS supervisor!
link biff Wrong! It’s coming this summer.
Gene Siskel and Roger Ebert were not the "Men In Black," Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones were the "Men In Black."
yes but 2nd one goes to fast and doesn't have certain development in some situations and well I'm sure you know the rest...
Better than the boring and overwrought 3rd entry.
2nd one is an unwatchable, cringe-inducing disaster. 3rd one is a slick, respectable sequel.
too fast not to fast Fix it!! GN
Can you post the review for Men In Black 2, from Ebert & Roeper? Please?

Pretty dissapointing film back in the day.
I never liked this movie.
I thought I liked it when I first saw it, but I was just wowed by the visual FX. The movie overall is pretty stupid.

Bad movie. And is NOT funny.

Their reviews are so terrible.
