Fun fact: the French cop that arrests Frank in the movie is the real Frank Abagnale.

I just realized how many biographical movies Leonardo DiCaprio does. And all of them have been really good.
Hes played J. Edgar Hoover (J. Edger), Frank Abignail (Catch Me If You Can), Howard Hughes (The Aviator), and Hugh Glass (The Revenant) And there's probably more than I'm not remembering.
Of course Tom Hanks has done quite a few also.

@@natecloe8535 Wow. I didn’t realize “The Revenant” was an autobiographical movie. I honestly thought that was a script. Nothing historically revenant really, that’s why. Unless, of course, if you subscribe to the butterfly flapping it’s wings and a mountain topling over, of course. But thank you. Edit: BTW Nate. I am going to check and see if that was autobiographical. I don’t believe anything anymore unless I verify it myself. Sorry. Too many ppl lie easily nowadays. Not saying you did. Just I’m skeptical.

Even if the events portrayed in this movie aren’t based on the exact truth of Abagnale’s escapades, as a movie about family, deception in relationships, and how success/achievement doesn’t necessarily buy you happiness - then this film is a bit of a gem. And the music is by John Williams!

I've said it before, and I'll say it again...You ladies need to watch, The Terminal. Why?
    - Like this, it's also directed by Steven Spielberg
    - It stars Tom Hanks
    - Tom Hanks speaks Bulgarian in it
    - And I have no doubt you all would be charmed by it

It would make sense that one of the final lines from this movie would be a lie: "That Frank and Carl remain close friends to this day." It's hard to have a close relationship with people who don't exist, which Carl Hanratty never did. I've read that in reality "Carl" was a couple of agents, but the most notable was Joseph Shea who apparently did have a relationship with Frank.

Such a good movie and an interesting story. Leo's character's dad is played by Christopher Walken who is in a ton of great movies ... but 2 recommendations that no one has reacted to yet: Blast from the Past (1999) a wonderfully fun movie where he plays Brendan Fraser's dad. And Biloxi Blues (1988) which is a comedy/drama with lots of great characters. Cheers!

He autographed everyone’s programs and chatted and let all the girls take photos, he was so gracious and really blew me away how he cared for his fans. I thought he would walk straight into the theatre or spend a max of 15 minutes with fans. So GRACIOUS!!!!!!! He was so polite, handsome.
