Griff, this may be the coolest lesson I've seen you do. My learning is "finally" getting to the point that I can now play a lot of the stuff you put on here. Muchas gracias!
Very cool lesson! So important to show the chords used in any song. And also you went into great detail to explain the chords, and some theory. So tired of watching videos that teach only Solo's and licks. That stuff is great but you gotta know what's going on with chords and rhythms. I always learn the chords first. Then rhythm and strumming patterns, and also the arrangement. I also like how you showed how to approach it,even though on the recording there isn't a lot of rhythm guitar to be heard. Thank for this!
Great approach on the other video featuring The solo. Question? Bm is the one chord,Em is the four,Gmaj.7 is flat six,and Fsharp7 is the five chord, right? I am now getting more into the numbers. I suck at Roman Numerals though, lol.
I know it's an old video but maybe someone could still help, maybe even @bluesguitarunleashed himself:) I feel that first round is cool and all but after that 6 bars of Bm played the same way feel boring :/ do you play some kind of lick there? Some different way of making it more interesting? Thanks for the video :)
Great video and what a beautiful Les Paul!
How can anybody possibly downvote this lesson? Simply an excellent tutorial
I like the explanation of how rhythm coordinates with drums. It’s hard to connect to the band. Now I have something that helps. Thanks😊

Great lesson! Not just on the chords but the different options of how to play them rhythmically as well as the voicing.
One of the best online guitar teachers.
I knew two and for but matching it with the drummer was a good lesson.
Very nice lesson indeed! WICKED!! CHEERS from Costa Rica!!! 🙃
G Maj 7th. I love that chord--sounds dreamy. Thanks for the lesson and the new chord version. Rock On!
That's what I love about all maj7 chords.

Cheers Griff...nice to hear the clean and crisp background rhythm. Good stuff CZ
Beautiful axe! Love the color
Definitely helpful am playing this at a recital with another guitarist and like you said there is no rhythm to copy from the original song.

Cool ! I never knew the right turn-around chords, i always faked it with the barre chord equivalents.
Thank you, it was wery helpful
finally someone plays it right with the Gmaj7th ! you know this is the exact same (almost except for the D9 ) as If you want me to stay by sly stone
I got an Epiphone that same exact color bout it brand new 5 years ago
Worthy!
Thanks for this Griff. I think I prefer playing the solo in BGU2 as the intro solo. How about finishing off the job and giving us the second solo?
I bought a “ Lucille “ last month
Is that the Les Paul Gibson HP 2017, I was really thinking 🤔 about getting one ☝🏾 of those I know they have in pink.Great Choice

I was being a ungrateful turd, I guess,, my apologies !
Works well with "Give one reason to stay here;". Two for one.
This lesson is the Money
C
should not be Bm7, instead of Bm ? and Em7 instead of Em.
My sandwich is gone baby
OMG....the vid is 15 minutes long and he spent 7+ minutes showing every possible shape for a Bm. I guess it good re a beginner.
good tutorial but a bit long winded for me
TALK TOO MUCH....
