The fact that the B ROM hacker decided to add an Amogus _and then make it so you can't get rid of it, even with with tricks,_ makes it that much more hilarious. They knew what they were doing.
Can't you clip in using the hidden blocks? Also, it's the axe, isn't it? If you managed to get it, you'd instantly win, right?
The rom hack of the white penguin with a blue hat is from a game called Hebereke (Ufouria in Europe), it's a very good Metroidvania
It's a great game! Would be considered a classic if not the limited release and late in the NES lifespan
Why are all SMB1 rom hacks so limited? They're mostly only texturepacks and sometimes with new levels. Even tho SMB1 is already a very boring game, without any variety in terms of enemies, power ups or themes. While SMB3 rom hacks actually even added new power ups and stuff. At this point if SMB1 is so boring, why not make a SMB1 romhack using the SMB3 engine? At least you'd have like the flying racoon and stuff.
@@gamermapper I recommend you to see other ROM hacks Kosmic videos, because most of them add new enemies/power ups
i had a tetris like game called Hebereke's Popoito or something. i remember LUL

Not recognizing Sonic references in that last one makes me think you ought to check out at least the Genesis Sonic games :p
Very small detail, but in Super Mario Bad Future, seeing the Mario 3 sprite with an extra frame in the walking animation was super satisfying
It reminded me of Marios animation during battles in Superstar Saga

The Bad Future one has a mix of elements from Sonic (Rings/Monitor ? blocks), and Mega Man (That one enemy from Hard Man's stage replacing the Pirahna Plants)

You are not ready for the mario 3 hack coming up called "koopa kingdom escape" - it's a sequel to that hack Mario Adventure by Dahrkdaiz. It's looking amazing. I'll link to their new channel if I ever remember

It's funny, I played this having no idea what it was and then 2 days later stumbled upon the game while looking at stuff for Gimmick. Looks awesome, definitely will play it if I can get my hands on a copy.

There should be a hack where the entire game is just a super long 1-1 and all the levels basically merge into each other. And if you die you have start over from the very beginning. (I wouldn't be surprised if this was a thing already)

literally custom powerups in *this* video. "sometimes with new levels" what lol, you're not even trying. It's fine if you don't like smb1 but everything you said is contradicted in this video alone and these hacks were made in 3 days
