Great update Ken. I couldn’t let you late war British sit there unsold. Don’t normally run squads under 10 but as a fan of your pod cast, I’ve decided to Christen them my ‘Rite Small Yorkshire Squad’. If only I could find 6 water slide ‘Yorkshire Rose’ decals for them😉
Impressive painting on the British. The problem may be that many wargamers now are retired like myself and are less able to purchase ready painted figures. I am still purchasing small amounts of new figures to paint myself. Although my painting is not to such a high standard I still enjoy what I do.
@andrewberry9307 it's all about finding the right market, I know people who pay two or three times more than what I'm asking for the right figures, I think I need to do a full unit of 10 next time and see if that makes a difference 👍
Big fan of the bottle tops, one of the guys at the club kindly 3D printed me a couple of handles that I can screw into them just to give me another option. The WW2 figures look great I’m sure someone will grab them.
@peezebeuponyou3774 plastic, what difference does that make, they took me 4 hours to paint, that's about £7.50 an hour, £15 is an insult, the sprue alone would cost 7 quid or so, so you want me to work for £2 per hour !
@@YarkshireGamer It's why you never see a figure painter driving a porsche. Time taken to paint isn't an issue unfortunately. A metal figure painted to the same standard as a plastic figure, will always fetch more.
Thank you for an enjoyable update. I think that a fiver each for the WWII British is very reasonable. Maybe they aren't selling because they are less than a squad(???) In number ? The Elite miniatures French do look the business, full of movement. I look forward to the series on the Italian Wars. Cheers.
@andymoody8363 I guess you mean you can't find me on ebay as your watching me on TH-cam 😉 here's a link to one of my on sale items at present www.ebay.co.uk/itm/156487278849?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=_NRhDMgwQ-O&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
I'll look forward to the Italian wars videos, I've just been painting Spanish and am now doing some Italians.
@adrianmist6681 thanks Adrian, coming soon 👍

Thanks for the shout out, Ken. I reckon LCpl should have been my real limit when I was in 😅 Love those Napoleonics. Awesome paint job mate.👍
@AndyJohnsonAuthor cheers Andy 👍
Looking forward to the Italian Wars guide

@@TerryWarden-fw7ob cheers, the figures did sell yesterday 👍
Great work on the elite miniatures painting some myself great to see someone else painting them yes very characterful figures
@darrinstanaway8943 very different to today's figures, more soul !
Nice painting on the WW2 figures, but I honestly think £30 for plastics is a tad steep. I'd kick off at £15 and see how you go.

Unfortunately people rarely wish to pay for time or experience.
@matthewwheelden9263 then I won't paint for them, it was just a tester and clearly I need to look at other options

@peezebeuponyou3774 you won't see any figure painter doing it for 2 quid an hour, they'd be dead of starvation 😄

I do a quick touch up with metallics after a matt varnish
@benjaminwaterhouse4879 too much messing about for me 😄
Fantastic job I am surprised you have not sold your English troops 🤠🤠🤠
They have sold now 👍
Great news on the IW Ken, you have sucked me into this good and proper.. Now working on some French, and struggling a bit :(
@@OW... thanks 👍
what's the link to ebay?
@andymoody8363 already sold Andy 👍 would have been better if I'd released the video earlier 😁
@@YarkshireGamer No worries, nice painting. I'll have a look out but can't find you on TH-cam, can you attach a link to your video notes?
