I was in 2nd grade and it was the most exhilarating moment of realization that “oh my god, the world is so bright and beautiful”. I would LOVE to wake up with that feeling everyday. congrats, Desi, and thanks for motivating me to get it done in the near future!
This just gave me goosebumps remembering my own lasik experience. I felt as blown away as Desi when I woke up and could see right away. It has been 8 years and I have not regretted it once. If you are reading this and thinking about it, this is your sign to do it!

Lasik was such a incredible thing for me! My vision was a little fuzzy for a couple of days after but it got clearer. Feels good to wake up and see. So happy for you Desi!
Yes girl! I got lasik back in February and it’s the best thing I’ve ever done! And you think you can see now, just wait 6 months or so and you’ll fully be able to see! So happy for you
Getting my eyes done was the best thing i ever did for myself... I went from having to use my glasses all the time (Even when watching tv) to having 20/20 vision in my right eye and 20/21 vision in my left! I’m surprised they let you do it since you are still wanting to have more children. Because your eyes change with each pregnancy so they usually tell you not to do it until after you finish having children. So glad it went well for you though!
I work in ophthalmology and honestly thought the same thing, especially with her getting treatments! Your vision can change with the hormone changes in your body so I hope she doesn’t regress 😫. But on another note, seeing Desi so happy after her LASIK is what I love the most about my field. My patients tell me all the time “it’s so nice to wake up and not have to search for your glasses so that you can see”. Your vision is one of the most important senses in my opinion! So happy for you Desi, esp for you to see Ocean and Steven bring you coffee every morning 🥺🥰💛💛
It’s not as common as it says - just like with bleeding gums during pregnancy every woman is different I think this isn’t a worry to her or the doctor probably
@@samanthacrespo1763 yes. I had to wait to get my glasses after baby. My vision was worse. Dr. Explained we have different eye pressure in our eyes 🙄 I never knew. But it’s usually temporary
@@samanthacrespo1763 you hi iivivighijijojjoojooo
I am so happy for you! Congratulations!
Definitely worth doing! 3 years past and still remember the feeling to see all clear !
I got lasik when I turned 22 Best damn decision ever!!! The pills they gave me didn’t hit me during the procedure either but hit me when I left lol but that after lasik nap hittttt! for months after I got it done I would reach for my glasses out of habit lol happy for you desi!!
I have only one bad eye and I’m nearly blind in it. Do you think lasik would be an option for me?
my auntie got lasik. her vision got worse. so happy yours went well.
Getting Lasik was the best money I ever spent, can’t recommend it enough.
My vision is -9.5 soooo I’m really trying to get lasik but I have to wait till it stops getting worse. 😩 so happy for you!
Holla at me
Been thinking about getting it done. You sharing your experience is encouraging me more ☺️
I had lasik too and is one of the best things I've ever done in my life!
My favorite part is hearing about Ocean 🌊💙
Very motivated now! I need this asap. Thank you for this video
I have an appointment set for January. As soon as my vision stopped fluctuating since 4TH grade I asked, they said yes! I don’t know where I’m getting the money from 😆 but I think it’s an investment nonetheless! I’m soooo excited!
Best money I ever spent! I used to literally sleep in my glasses because I was sick of feeling for my glasses and knocking them off my nightstand.
As a -5,75 gal (and many more things wrong with le eyes) I can't wait till I finally have the money to get Lasik, so so sooo excited for when that day comes!
Love this! I’m 28 and get my adult braces off this year. On my to do list is to do this! Been in glasses/contacts since 5th grade.
I’m getting my lasik done with Dr Feinerman this month! I’m so excited!
I've been wanting to get Lasik! This helped so much!
That aggressive pillow throw in bed had me dying. Home girl chose violence. LOL
