Don’t get me wrong these watches are damn strong, I work in construction; the watch has been through some hell at work. Recommend if you are using in uncharted terrain.

I like it for the outdoors and exercise. How good/loud is the Alarm? Very important as a backup for catching flights business meetings. In between hikes : ) Great review again
nice review Ben. I use an Amazfit stratos for GPS trail mapping on weekends. M-F I wear a fossil on WearOS for smart watch / Google features. Its no fun getting lost and disoriented on the trails, so a GPS device for me is a must have, along with traditional maps / tools.

does this come with some preloaded map ? or can you download topographic map, of a entire country like you do in a garmin 5x or 6 pro? offline with no phones around? this is basically the main question I have to decide if I buy this watch or not, but somehow it is very hard to get this type of information.. someone? please?
It has google maps as long as you are connected to your phone. You’d can download an area as well for offline use.

@@livingsurvival thank you, it is still no competition for garmin then, don't understand why Casio is dropping the ball so hard, they invented the "path finder" watches, but the real path finders are garmins now.
Basic features are offline. you don't need a phone to connect to but you can download maps. Cool features to mention is you have google earth, google maps and google assistant. For example, if you asked google assistant "Take me to the nearest Polish shop" it would do just that on the watch and on your phone via google maps. If you said "Play Tears for Fears" it would play just that, you have to have it on your phone though.
*The only watch u need is a solar mudmaster gwg 1000 full on sexieness with technology that doesnt need to be attached to "the grid" to spy on u and or give u ur information!!!!* Its worth the buy the casio gwg 1000 mudmaster . EXTREMELY recommend u all check it out an dis regard this ⌚ 8D😏
Living Survival I have the foretrex 104 jump master- 601 , Casio pathfinder and another Casio that does the same thing. I just prefer Apple Watch bc i can use the maps

That flat tyre screen looks like a bummer to me - actually cuts off some weather info?

No audio, just vibrate. you need to use bluetooth headphones to your phone to listen to music, listen to calls or other sound features.
$270 is NOT bad for that watch. I like it. If you say it's good to go I will add it to my shopping list.
