    Best review I’ve seen by far. Most reviews just talk about what the ladder does, but you actually show what features it has available. 👍

    Nice video review. Just picked up the 26 ft model today. Your video explains well on how to use it correctly.. 👍👍

    I like how you showed the procedure for raising and lowering the ladder in the A-Frame position.

    I have been looking at multipurpose ladders for a while and decided to go with the Gorilla. I ordered it online through HD day after Christmas. I ordered the 23 MPXT package that came with the brackets. The package was less expensive than buying just the ladder. Supposed to be delivered on the 31st. First project is to poly the inside of my log home. Need to get up to 21 feet at the peak of the cathedral ceiling. With the 23 foot reach of this ladder it should work our perfectly. I also plan to buy a 9' - 13' retractable scaffolding plank. The 23' weighs in at about 45# so should be able to maneuver the ladder around with no issues. Thanks for the review. Confirmed I made the right choice.

    i'm liking this video because you actually show the thing set up as tall as it can go. I fell off of a normal extension ladder when it slipped a couple of years ago and broke three ribs, and i want something i am not afraid to step onto.

    Just bought a 17 in and this petite 67yr old could change the positions once I knew how - and wow is that ladder sturdy, I have been working with the rickety ladder for so lone it is taking me awhile to feel safe. Now my drain is clean as a whistle - so thanks

    Great and thorough video. You can also use it as scaffold trestles if you buy the Gorilla brackets for it and set up a plank.

      Thanks Zach. Yes, I have a few of these ladders now and plan on doing just that if the need should ever come up. Thank you for sharing my friend.

    Best review of this Gorilla ladder, I don't need a 26 ft I will get the 23 ft. which comes with a tool tray.

      Yes, we are ordering the 23' as well. We actually played around with it right in Home Depot lol. We found that the 23' was the best compromise between height and light enough weight for us.
      Also, I liked the "work tray" at the top and the fact that it comes with wheels.

    Got one. This ladder is a beast. Its not light, and feels indestructible. If you need to use it as an extension ladder indoors, it can be a bit tricky getting it going without banging into everything. Outdoors this will be your go-to ladder. I like it.

    Excellent video presentation with your on site demonstrations and narrative. I bought the 22 foot version and was able to carry it in my Hyundai Sonata! I really like the quality and weight of the ladder and the Type 1-AAA was a rating class I knew nothing about beforehand but was glad Gorilla built it to specs. Stay safe and remember what goes up must come down but hopefully not too fast.

    • @MasterTheNEC
      @MasterTheNEC  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Fella....considering how heavy this beast is I can only move so fast with it and yes going up and down it is imperative you go show or fingers could be lost in the adventure.

      I used the ladder for the first time last night. Good quality and simple features. Working 14 ft up in the air made me appreciate a heavy, stable ladder like this. It is perfect. The tips I learned in your review made using it a breeze. I have now watched this video eight times OK? 🤣 Subscribed. Thanks again. 👍

    Just picked up this version over the 22' on sale at HD because of this review. Figured for $50 the extra height when in a-frame would be worth it to me.

    • @MasterTheNEC
      @MasterTheNEC  5 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Awesome!!!!...Yep the 26' is a heavy beast but when you must get to the top of the mountain it makes it easy. The 22' is perfect also. Now I am not a HUGE fan of HD (I'm a Lowes Guy Actually) but I do have my likes at the Big Orange...the ladders and my beloved Ryobi.

    I'm in between buying the Gorilla 26 Ft GLMPX-26W-2 and the Little Giant 26 Ft 16826-818 Epic ladder. Would love to see your know your thoughts or perhaps a comparison video between the above 26 Ft models.

      Greetings George. Well, my reviewing days on ladders has passed. However, I am still very satisfied with my Gorilla Ladder and I have owned a LG and Warner in the past so I would take the Gorilla over either of those but that's just my opinion. I am sure they all work great.

    Do they offer a leg leveler?

    • @MasterTheNEC

      I do not believe they do fella. They do have a wheels adapter but that's it I think. Give their website a look-see and they may have one but I am not familiar with it...sorry.

    Hi, is it more safe for electricians to be using fiberglass inlieu of aluminum ladders ?

    • @MasterTheNEC
      @MasterTheNEC  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Maybe if working on live energized parts. However, putting a system in an electrically safe condition is part of electrical safety and education. The "Smart" electrician should know when and when not to use a metal ladder. If they don't they should take up plumbing.

    Great vid Paul. A few questions. I just took the OSHA certification class. They showed videos of workers on aluminum ladders getting shocked/electrocuted when the ladder touched overhead service cables. They suggest only using fiberglass ladders. Are these ladders "OSHA" certified? Your thoughts?

    • @MasterTheNEC
      @MasterTheNEC  ปีที่แล้ว

      Osha only applies to commercial projects. While it is wise to be careful, and I would not condone a metal ladder used when working on live parts, that means I promote working on things de-energized and at that point the ladder really doesn't matter. The 'Overhead Service Cables" are not the same as Service Drops, which are controlled by the utility. However, again I would recommend not using metal ladders on "overhead service conductors" applications but anywhere else in a building I have been doing it for decades with no worries.
