Really appreciate you taking the time to post this as it is a much more real-life scenario and this was my concern with buying one of these. Do you have the ability to unlock the hinge while standing on the ladder as well? I would assume you have to to fold it up and get it out of a foyer like that. The official instruction videos always show that on the ground as well and it's not often feasible in a smaller space. Thanks again!
Thanks so much for taking the time to make this video! I believe a lot of potential Little Giant Skyscraper buyers (like myself) really need to see this video to determine if this is a feasible solution for them. I have a tall pool cage and need to be able to re-screen blown out panels in locations where only an A-frame ladder will work. Can you let me know if this is a one- or two-person carry when the ladder is fully closed and ready to be stowed in a garage? Thanks again for making and sharing this video!
When you first mentioned extending the ladder while on it, I thought you were outta your mind, and almost clicked away ....but I gave you the benefit of the doubt and realized that this is actually a fairly safe calculated risk. Great insight and demos you shared, bro. Thanks.
Good video mate. I have some and it's all good and proper setting them up in an area with loads of space but most jobs aren't like that.I only have the six rung edition wouldn't want to be taking yours down puttin them up....
Thanks for the upload I own an electrical business and just recently purchased the skyscraper 17 footer and this was my first concern. Thanks for the advice.
That is the exact type of job I need to do. After watching this, I think the ticket is using another ladder, such as a 12-foot A-Frame, to Extend the Skyscraper ladder rather than being on it.
I used this method in my front entry with stairs. It’s the only way to get it raised up. Way to post and help others!
That’s awesome, thank you for sharing and commenting! Happy New Year 🎆 2025 💯
Thanks for the video. Getting one soon.
Thanks for letting us know! #wiringpeopleforsuccess
Mannn that’s what I need. Good video my guy 💪🏾
Thank you! 😀

Thanks for the feedback! We have been able to unlock the hinges after setting back to its lowest height and two people to close it up and take down.

So glad to hear that this video was valuable for you! I do recommend that two people carry this ladder in and out of a home and for safe set-up.

So glad to hear that this helped you. Thank you for sharing! 💯⚡️
Great video, in most homes there is simply not enough room to extend the ladder in the manner shown in the official videos.
Very true!

Sweet I’m renting one tomorrow for 20 feet chandelier hanging job
Nice 👍
They are just too heavy!
You would need a crane to handle that one.
Hear that, but not as bad as some others 😎⚡️
