Does this mean you CAN adjust the height while already installed on the car by twisting the entire strut? What he said about not being able to make little adjustments was a deal breaker for me…
Hi! sorry im late to the party but i've been heavily considering these silvers neomax (with swifts) over FA500's since i have a tight budget and i do like to go on track once or twice a year. Do you think it's worth giving silvers a shot over FA500's? i'm sure FA500's is alot better but is the performance of silvers enough to get close to FA's while maintaining that good price tag
Personally I don’t think I would get them again. They were okay but did have some sounds to them. I would bucket them with other coils in the same price range. Fortune’s are really great, more customizable, and if you do plan on performance driving the car rebuildable. Rebuildable is important for 2 reasons; down the road you can have them totally refreshed for a fraction of new coils and they can be upgraded to the 510 model. I actually had my 500’s rebuilt to 510’s a few years ago. At the time I didn’t need the 510’s and the price difference put them out of my range. As I got into tracking the car and putting some wear on them it was a huge benefit to do a simple upgrade. If you’re curious shoot us an email, might be able to help you out with them..
1) Nice ride height. Good to see someone with some freaking restraint. 2) I ordered a GT in large part for the adaptive suspension, but will invest in high quality (modest) lowering springs, hopefully Swift. (Confirmed with a reliable source a 3/4" inch lower spring won't affect the AS function.) My days of manual transmissions and coilovers are over. My wife is skeptical about "ANOTHER WRX! REALLY!?" but I told her she can drive it (she doesn't do manual) and she can set it to "comfort". Hoping I win her over. She threatened to divorce me if I touched her Crosstrek.
You guys are nuts, rubbing and bending metal lol, I guess I'm just not as committed as you all. lol :oP Yes, the turn signal stick is annoying as heck...talk about messing with something that wasn't broken. BUT, thank you for the video and your impressions. If we can improve handling AND RIDE, then maybe I need to look into coil overs a lot more than I thought. I would drop it only so much, I refuse (like drone with exhaust systems) to cause rub issues or reduce the daily driver aspect of the car. Like you all, I am not going to turn this thing into a race car but after finally pushing my 2K miles 22 this thing really needs another 50HP at least and 7K redline but Subaru is too committed to half ars-ing things. Enjoy your car!
For 7K rpm you will likely need stronger springs. It might also be worth getting the rocker retainers done at the same time (They are a bit pricey, but if they come loose... oh boy). (DENSTOJ ROCKER RETAINER KIT)
It seems like most people are doing coilovers for appearance. Barely anything was mentioned about handling in the corners. Having the back higher than the front affects the handling, sometimes desirable and sometimes not but you seem to care more about having a raked appearance than about whether it will make the car handle better. Tire rubbing? Get some tires and wheels that fit that car. Again, it seems like it's all about looks and nothing about functionality.
next, address turbulence at the rear. would love to see products improve under body aero with minimal over body add-ons

Disregard the more I see your headlights the less I care about the C Lights! That’s how good your headlights look!
I cant wait to get them
Very informative, I appreciate the this video
Very nice!
I like your wheels and tires can tell where I can get them same one like yours they look amazing

@@circuitdemon_ what your rim and tire size
Just an FYI these do come with koyo radial bearings standard

I installed silver’s on my 22 WRX and I’m getting clunking noises coming from the front any advice on how to get rid of that

Been waiting this vid! Good Content! I have ISC coilovers coming this week.
Nice!
Are the tires 265 30 or 265 35?
So that's the sti front lip?
Sure is!
will these force the car to be lower than stock or can stock height be maintained?
Stock height, or higher can be obtained!
You probably want some long travel coilovers

tomei the crosstrek; muffler ectomy or something...or just add bracing, or something to add rigidity to the body
What are swift springs

Hit me up for custom stickers for those gramlights!
No the turn signal is 100% a pain.
It's a bit annoying. I haven't mastered the turn signal yet 😕

No man... You got it on all counts. Suspension and turn signal indicator
The turn signal!! 🤬 Taking so long to get used to 😭
Damn it only took me about a week just know it’s just a tap on it to the opposite direction and it’ll work every time
@@BlackBruceLeeTheGreatDekuTree i get that, its just sometimes i hit it a little too hard then it flicks the signal on the other way 😂😭
@@danwarrjack yeah I’ve done it and completely understand haha hope yput enjoying the car tho!
