Love hearing Harris’s take on cars. Rooted in history and logical perspective with the overwhelming priority always being driving joy over anything else.
I've always admired Chris Harris' attitude on cars. Classic or modern he's always got something interesting to say. I know a lot of people didn't like that XJ220 but I still feel that is one of the most gorgeous cars of that era. (:
I am a real car lover, I’ve seen practically every Supercar / Hypercar ever made and to this day there are only 2 cars that have literally left me breathless when I first saw them, the first was a brand new white Lamborghini Countach 5000QV belonging to a local building contractor in around 1987, the other was a Silver XJ220 in a local Jaguar Dealer around 1990. They remain my favourite cars of all time, they are both stunning in such different ways!
More like, "just make it a Chris show". Jack is just so mediocre at his job that losing him would save money and the entertainment value would remain the same. When next to Chris, his lack of confidence and genuine passion on the subject matter is clear to see, so if anything he's holding Chris back. Chris is playing along for this video because it's his job, so he has to. All Jack is doing is asking basic, straightforward questions for this short recap video, which is not something Chris ever did back on the Drive channel, and just doesn't fit his style because recap videos tend to be made as "fluff"/filler content.
