The incredible thing about the efr turbos is that that spool fast and probably still have the best transient responses,it's a track turbo through and through
@@moomya the Efr has a special compressor and turbine wheel with oversized low friction bearings and a custom housing and recirculation system on the compressor housing on a decent rb26 you will get full boost under 4000rpm and it's not that big of a turbo in normal size it's on a 62mm turbo

Very nice !!! How big you want the turbo yes please , but on a side note , is this just a show engine as none of the timing is done nore is the belt on . It's missing Lot of the front assembly ,no gaskets on the turbo , missing alot
That whole unit is going to shatter some egos if indeed it gets finished and it’s not just a mock up to show customers how it looks without ancillaries and timing etc..
Who the heck fully dresses a long block before they time it?!?. You should always time your longblock first. The people who don't are the same ones that fully dress an engine just to tear it back apart to address something they would have caught right after putting the head on. While those of us that time our longblocks first almost never end up having to backtrack. Pretty motor. However you need to time it and turn it over by hand first before you go dressing it.

Timing belts are way easier to replace and modify. You can also buy Kevlar belts that are virtually indestructible.
