Thanks for the link. I have been able to identify the driver and am currently working through our disciplinary and re-education process. We appreciate any feedback we can get on any of our vehicles and drivers, as even with the technology we have available to us, we are 'blind' to what may be occurring once our drivers leave the yard. Should have sacked this guy. I wish the police would watch these videos and take action. This driver should get a ban at a minimum for this driving. Don't underestimate how serious the consequences could be if the car had to brake
My take where I live recommended 3 second gap, some say 2. That by my math equals 6 seconds, or 4, adding before and after. Therefore a 1 second gap after equals 5 in front, therefore I will slow to keep that and stuff the one behind who believes in 1 second.
I see these driver's every single day driving around in Toronto and Cambridge. Just oblivious to the rest of the world. Complete lack of understanding on how to drive. Just worried about themselves and don't give a crap about anyone else.
