If you have time, could you maybe do a software walk through? No video has done that at all. So I mean all the special settings like what you can do with the lights on the back, what you can do with the triggers outside of games (can you launch flashlight with that?) and everything else software wise, the parts that are only on Asus. Would love it. Thank you!

The pro back design is more gaming focused. This one has more streamlined vertical look that works for non gaming people. That's why I ordered it. I was getting tired of boring, grey slabs.

How is performance of the screen in extremely low screen brightness. Any black crush or any unusual colour tint when screen brightness is the least.???

Hey i charging ROG phone 6 with anker 715 65W, there no hyperchare, on display only fast charging, but in Watt meter they're 63 Watt charging when phone in cool temperature, but drop to 21 Watt if phone in hot condition
Is the Aero cooler included with the phone or does it need to be bought seperately?

Yes, they are using a Cirrus Logic DAC this time, which isn't quite as powerful as the ESS Sabre DAC.

same here i do had all rog since they released from 1-5 when the worst is rog 1 as the screen is soft as tofu and broke easily and repair expensive so buy new one than repair and it get hot asf u can literally burn ur fingers if u play outdoor without ac even u had the fan, i always take strix edition i hope they have here as i like the packaging of strix edition than normal boxing, hopefully rog 6 reach my expectations thanks for the review got my sub

so far rog 3 and 5 its okay playing or even charging while playing is also smooth as butter tried on highest specs mode for PUBG so i can say good even rog 3 is still working perfectly fine, maximize ur gaming experience if u use dual connection wifi and ur phone data.playing outside without ac not so bad like rog1 but still ofcrse if u use xmode ur phone will double the heat so prefer using normal mode outside if place is no ac.

Not even worth comparing the two because unlike the garbage speakers that the BS 5 Pro has, the ROG 6 has front firing speakers that are widely considered to be one of the best in the world

bought one of these so excited for it... But it wont turn on. fully charged, never been used before, and when I turn it on it just cycles through the start-up animation with the Asus logo endlessly but won't turn on. So disappointed.

How do you turn on the back light forever? 😭 I can only set it on for it to auto turn off a few minutes later.
On the Pro version? Ya can't, it's set to turn off automatically for longevity

Asus ROG phones are awesome but the customer service sucks when it comes to repair. 2 weeks down time and expensive af to repair broken screen. Using the ROG 5s myself.
I've experienced worst reliability and repair time from Samsung..
@@thelongnguyens problem here is, after you used a gaming phone like ROG 5s. It is really hard to find another phone that can replace. Was looking at the iphone 13 pro max and Samsung S22 Ultra. Nothing come close to this if your focus is just gaming and TH-cam.

the regular and the pro actually not much difference,for pro the most obvious changes is the RAM and storages also the most important thing is the back light display

great review! now it makes me think twice because of the software updates thats only for 2 years since im changing phones ones every 3 to 4 years.
Not only that, I've got the ROG phone 5 and updates on them are horrendous. It has not been updated to android 12 yet. Also very few updates in a little more than a year that I've owned this phone.

Well, the thing is even if you are on the last security or OS update, the phone will still work as usual and you probably won't miss out too much after a year or two, unless you have sensitive data stored on your phone all the time then only you should be worried about it.

Incredible hardware, but poor software support, bugs, freezes and so on will keep me from upgrading my ROG phone 5 to this one. Besides I've heard horror stories of people needing hardware repair.

No ip68 is sorta a deal breaker.
It's hard to design a hardware with IP68, considering it needs a lot of space being sealed which will compromise cooling performance, making it IP56 is already quite an achievement

Throw the plastic cover the phone comes with away it's garbage and doesn't protect the phone at all. 1 drop and the screen smashes, go online and buy a good case.

Well the thing is there are no phones with slim bezels that goes without a notch or camera cutout, and for some gamers a proper full screen experience is crucial.
