You should do some rog exclusive gaming features like showing background and macro mode and how bypass charging can lower ur gaming temperatures compared to running on battery.
Agree that 165hz refresh rate is noticeable. I used to own the ROG 5 which had 144hz and already I noticed a difference.
At 165hz, science studies has shown your eye cornea will thin out 2x faster than the average human

No it doesn't I use ROG 2 120 hrz is already fast, then change to ROG 6D so the 144 and 165 don't feel any differently....

Ive used the first Rog 1 and now Rog 2 but Last dec 2021, my Rog 2 died within 3 years of normal daily media use and casual gaming like mobilegend, the phone died during browsing facebook, Asus ctr checked the motherboard issue quoted me 2,1k .
Nobody have better charging habit than me, i dont charge overnight , steady safe charge enabled, not customary for me to charge to 100% too, in the end, it failed too
Now the Rog2 sitting inside my drawer what can I do with it, negative 2,1k cashflow for smthg not my fault? Funny ?
As much as I love Rog phone but now buying an Rog is a very cautionary decision for me . The motherboard issue is not isolated , it seems quite widely discussed in forums, pointed out by svc and even mentioned here in the comments so go figure.
When you play genshin impact, how far have you unlocked the map? This is important because it will affect GPU memory

asus rog 6 base model 8+128 is only currently at 4000 yuan-rmb , which is equivalent to less than 590$ which is a much better price than it was before,it's probably because of lenovo legion gaming phone , legion y90, that just released with 12+256gb only at 430$ and highest spec 18+640gb at only 610$ is insanely great price for such beastly gaming device . i was torn choosing between z40s pro,moto x30 pro which were better overall phones compared realme gt2pro(&master explorer) or even iqoo 9t-10, but now i see this device,also mi 11 ultra has also priced cut to be around 600$.so , so many choices and i'm confused what to want anymore.-;;
i like big battery which lenovo y90 has plus rog 6 ,flagship camera with good zoom capability for details which moto and z40s pro and mi11ultra have,good screen which everyone have and good loud audio which rog will rock them out of water probably. of course i like retaining the microsd slot and 3.5 audio jack as well that some of them have over the other but not both.
Let's be honest, any test for a gaming phone basically only needs to be Genshin Impact since it is power hungry and lags even on some of the flagship phones. Personally I had the Samsung Galaxy A71 and it was OK, then I got the S22 Ultra and for some reason, and it also baffled Samsung tech support, PUBG mobile and Cod mobile etc all lagged even with little to no reason for it. I sent that back and got an iPhone but I really hate some of the features in it and although it performed well, I just wasn't a fan of the phone. It felt like it was basically the same phone as previous models but it had slightly changed in a barely noticeable way. I'm now looking to get the 12gb version on Ebay soon after looking at the prices of phones the the Nubia Redmagic 7 ans 7s being fairly high. Evan the new 8 pro is £709 brand new on pre-order. At the moment they are out of my range now budget wise due to bills going up again on everything soon so I'm keeping an eye on a Asus ROG 6 12 gb phone.
I tried getting mine unlocked then it no longer turns on i then had to get one from My World Phone for half the price.

the only problem is the developers make games fixed at 60 fps, so we have a 165 hz screen but cannot use it properly in all the games ( see Diablo Immortal)

Can you play for 10 hours straight with this phone without overheating without air conditioning?
Is the phone usable as a daily driver? I mean in terms of battery life, what is the average SOT you are just doing casual things on the phone and no gaming? TIA.
But if a late response but mine lasts me roughly 6 hours until it hits 60 percent without the power saving mode and that's with a reasonable amount of gaming, the phone itself says it has about 16 hours of battery life so for day to day driving it'll last the entire day. 😄 hope this is of some help

Ya guys in Malaysia are lucky, here in the UK, the 16gb/512gb model costs 1000 pound.
PS : the Aero Active Cooler 6 is only included for free if ya were to pre-order before the end of this month but otherwise, it costs 125-150$ and it doesn't even come included with the Pro version

Hope that this one ended ROG series curse tho..which is they would likely to get motherboard faulty in 1 year of gaming..my friends who buy ROG series phone in each generation got the same problems after 1 year..

@@LimReviews maybe..but mostly they said that ROG cooling design were mostly the cause..it makes some kind of condensed thing thus there's liquid build inside thus damaging the board..

For me i personally use rog 5 in the past but sadly the rog 5 died within 6 month of using it due to motherboard problem. After that i never trust rog lol. All the review seem legit that asus fix heating issue with rog 6 but who know maybe need to wait few more month to see.

I don't care this high end Gaming phone.i had already had own high end Gaming PC within 12th 12900k & RTX 3090 ti can be able use solid(only Minecraft & Terraria),custom graphics (more games)with big screen and more relax and also can be also handle more mods improve the classic game and also Glorious Ultra Shaders pack in Minecraft And Terraria or sometimes I can use Ray tracing on together with Ultra Graphic Custom settings or Solid Graphic Custom settings in any games I can goes to boost than up XD.And Also if I want play Mobile legend bang bang so I will goes to Blue Stack 5 (Mobile PC edition)there no need to afraid lag or crash because I had good CPU and GPU, SSD drive,and more RAM 128 GB RAM on my motherboard PC GG
