a golfer felt the combo set of TAKOMO irons were too heavy but preferred the KBS golf shaft. Watch as we go through the set a discuss the concerns on the irons and how the turned out.
good job Jim! I have a set of these in the copper finish, and I was wondering how they'd hold up with bending, so its nice to see they hold up well. I'm considering a shaft change in mine, so if I do I'll be getting ahold of you for sure!
Loved the build video just got the clubs they came out great can’t wait to get out and hit them. They feel great with the lighter shafts. Will keep you post after we hit them. Thank you Jim and Robbin!!!
Great stuff! I recommend using 2” inch shrink tube and cut off a 2” piece and cut open one side so it folds in half. Wrap around the hosel and this will all but eliminate any marks on the hosel.
Great job and I love the look of those Tacomos. I am also looking at possibly reshafting my Tacomo 101s from their original KBS Tour Lite (100 gram) stiff flex to a KBS Max 75 graphite set. If you don’t mind me asking, how much do you charge for a similar build like you just did? Just ballpark number. And also, what do you think about the KBS MAX series graphite shafts as an option? The 100 gram steel shafts are just a tad too heavy and slows down my club head speed. Thanks!
I have a question. How much will a 1 inch shaft extension effect a putter? I have heard people say it destroys the feel of the club and can make it super muted. I have a PLD prime tyne 4 I want to extend I am worried about getting a new shaft from ping as the install could ruin the finish.
Recently bought a very slightly used set of ping i230s....have project x lz 6.0 120 shafts pure and paralleled shafts in them.....I would like to swap the shafts for some of the kbs tgi graphite shafts as well but want to go just a slight bit less stiff shaft ....the project x lz 6.0 120s ....seem to set between stiffer than the s300s S I generally play .....which kbs tgi would you suggest and I am from Tennessee....would you be interested in do the build ?
In the TGI I would consider the 80 or 90 gram shaft. The weight will be factor not the flex. And yes we can do it no problem , just email mcgolfshop@roadrunner.com
mcgolfshop@roadrunner.com the shaft price and grips will change the quote. let us know what you are interested in and we can an estimate to you directly

you are welcome, tried some Michter sour mash and it was nice
How did they feel?
@@thews9237 love the shafts - they are great I totally would recommend for someone with a average swing speed. They look fantastic!!
Good stuff! 🔥
Thanks 🔥 If you would like to have the LH component reviewed please let us know
they do make the 301 CB in left-handed. You have to go to the customized section.
thanks maybe we get them to send a head or set for a review

good tip. I have adjustable bending bar when clamped well does not mark. I used to use a copper sleeve before that
Great video! You’re so talented. I’m not sure why you didn’t suggest that i deliver. 😂
Next time!
You can custom order or get heads only left handes
some models yes however the site said nope to those

email us at mcgolfshop@roadrunner.com for the quote, the max graphite shaft is a shaft to help get the ball in the air and very smooth
Takomo = Yum
I'll bet those really sting when you hit a thin shot in March!
I wouldn't want to find out lol.

is using the a proper extension you should feel a difference other than you are standing taller

Curious how this would be priced out ? Is there. Price per club or the doing a set and roughly if you were be to post an estimate of this service.

Great job Jim, question why not use a quality heat gun I found with some graphite shafts heat tolerance varied quite a bit.
If there is coating a heat gun can damage it as the heat guns job is to remove paint. Keeping the heat moving is key to prevent damage
Not a single video bout how or should I sharpen grooves.
Why would you want to sharpen grooves. It makes the club illegal in almost every case
@@McGolf because mine are dull. I played in the sand everyday with all my clubs out on Chincoteague Island. I’ll try JB Weld.
