I love the use of 3D printers to fast-trial new designs. 3D printers are game changer in industrial design! I'd love to build a larger 3D printer myself for building speakers and other things.
Nice to see. When 3D printing prototypes doesn't the material affect the sound? Partly the print resolution (surface not being completely smooth, most often at least) and the rigidity of the material? Although 3D printing material can be more rigid than wood or MDF so that might not be an issue perhaps?
Just guessing, but I know the wavelength of highest frequencies is going to be much longer than the resolution of 3D prints. For instance, a 0.4mm resolution is much smaller wavelength than the highest frequencies we can hear. In terms of the resonances in the printed material, I'm sure it'll have some level of impact. I suppose the fast print speed can help to get a rough idea of their designs, and they can manufacture their best designs in the best materials (with resonances outside of the audible spectrum) after the fact. Likely all taken into consideration.
@@PrincipalAudio Sounds more than reasonable-making first iterations in 3d printed material and then fine tune the final iterations (I suppose at least).
such long frequency conduct create time smear, it can't be good, can it? if lower frequencies meet the ear with time delay!? are these funnels also the reason for the low sensibility?
Btw Sweetwater, I’ve been seeing bots in some of your video comments lately, so you might want to make a post letting people know not to fall for them :)

PMC rules. Ive had the OB1's and FB1's. Best ive ever had and Ive had a lot.
I have not had the pleasure of hearing PMCs (I have Magicos) but I am most impressed. Thanks for sharing!

Way Cool !! Nick in England.
Just waiting for my Twenty5 22i to come from the factory :) Currently have the old Twenty 21 and they are fantastic but it's time for an upgrade!
Nice video! Enjoyed it
Great Video and GREAT speakers!
Bass produced from tiny PMC will surprise anyone
I compared pmc to bush speakers and found the latter far superior. I think the main reason is british.
Did Prince and Stevie Wonder use PMC speakers?

Have you ever heard of time align 12 s, by Paradox speakers? No better speaker I’ve ever heard. The only thing close , was a band , in a garage.
