The PMC Twenty5 26 were the first speakers which seriously made me think about getting high end speakers (as compared to headphones and IEMs only). Saw and heard them for the very first time at Metropolis Studio, Chiswick, London. Although it was an audio exhibition and hence not an ideal environment to fully appreciate speakers, they still left a mark on my memory - It was in March 2017. Finally bought them earlier this month 😊.
Thank you very much for a most interesting interview with a passionate and interesting designer of PMC. This from a very happy PMC Fact 12 owner. 👍🏼 All the best Peter
Great interview and insight to Peters passion for sound. I have a pair of PMC speaker for about 18 years and have never changed them, they are so good. Amazing company with great service .
Good interview. A speaker that reproduces speech well will sound correct and rarely disappoint. Transmission lines are controversial, but probably no worse than other box speakers. Pro audio is business, whilst consumer is riddled with tweaky snake oil.
Wow... I love you, Peter Thomas... Your attitude is just perfect and humble, and you definitely know what you're talking about! I'm buying another pair of PMC in the next days!!!
Thank you SoundStage for this extraordinary video. I am pleasantly surprised by the simplicity, transparency and humility of Peter Thomas. I already own a pair of the Twenty 24 and I can tell after watching the video it is as if they have been gained a lot of value. A simple question: Does anyone know what are the green discs that Peter Thomas commented on improving the sound of the CD player etc?
Great interview. When listening to Peter discuss his transmission line design I was brought back to that day I heard a pair at TAF. My strongest impression of the speaker was how tight and detailed the bass was. If you love detail you owe it to yourself to listen to a pair.
i used to work with Pete some of the time I worked for the BBC. His hair was a lot shorter then so he looked quite different to now. i remember him talking about his passsion for playing 78s with as good quality as possible.

Then you must hate listening to music.

Total joke.
Could you kindly elaborate? What would be the speakers that you think wouldn't be considered as a joke? I'm curious to know?
Sounds like you need a therapy cat.
