    Welcome to Breath Central!
    0:00 INTRO
    0:28 ROUND 1 - 1:00min Breath Hold
    3:18 ROUND 2 - 1:30min Breath Hold
    6:37 ROUND 3 - 2:00min Breath Hold
    Simply relax and breathe in through your nose into your belly then into the chest into the head and then let it all go out of the mouth. Think about how you breathe, and focus your attention on the breath only.
    Complete beginners should be able to handle this session normally. If you feel like you progressed enough, you can use this session as a warm-up round for more advanced sessions you can find on this channel.
    But be careful not to force anything. If you experience any discomfort, just take it easier.
    Remember, the goal of doing this is to make you feel good :)
    The Wim Hof Breathing technique in general is meant for everyone who would like to improve the way they feel. Performed correctly and daily, this breathing exercise tends to strengthen the immune system and relieve symptoms of stress in the individual.
    Step by step instructions:
    1. Breathe in through the nose or mouth. Inhale deeply into your belly, then into your chest, and finally into your head. One complete circular motion. Then exhale. Just let the air out naturally and do not force the air out. Repeat this until the round is over (30-50 breaths)
    2. On the last exhale of each breathing round, hold your breath for the duration shown on the timer.
    3. After the breath hold, inhale fully and hold your breath for 15 seconds. Then let the air out of your lungs again and start again from the beginning.
    4. Repeat each round :)
    Safety information:
    The breathing exercise has a profound effect and should be practiced in the way it is explained. Always do the breathing exercise in a safe environment (e.g. sitting on a couch/floor) and unforced. Never practice the exercises before or during diving, driving, swimming, taking a bath or in any other environment/place where, should you pass out, a serious injury could occur.

    I’ve been doing this breathing exercises for a year 3 months. My max was 3 mins 54 secs. My routine exercise is running on treadmill and alternate days I swim 500 meters sometimes 1000 meters once reached 2000 meters. I find that I run lighter without feeling tired, swim longer on 50 meters holding my breath easier. Wim Hof have certainly proven that our body has chemistry that we can activate. I only have 2 arteries running to my heart and my cardiologist says I’m doing fine. I highly recommend this exercise that Wim Hof teaches.

    For complete beginners? I'd like to see one do 2 minutes breath hold right off the bat...I sure couldn't.

    Again thank you for our morning breathwork. I absolutely love love love doing this every day.
    I have been practicing the WHM way for about 4 years now. I used to use the WHM app but found it, well how do I put it politely, a bit too commercialised for my liking. I love the way you do yours. I was planning to make my own similar videos, but no need as you have just totally nailed it.
    Question: Why the 40 breath method? Is there further benefit to more breaths, or is it just down to personal preference? Thanks again for your effort and awesome content. All the best.

    Should I breath with the mouth ?

    • @breathcentral764
      @breathcentral764  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      The recommendation for beginners is to inhale though the nose and exhale through the mouth. Later you can maybe start inhaling though the mouth but at the end of the day it really comes down to personal preference. I do both personally and change it up sometimes :)

    Should I be breathing in through my nose out through my mouth? Or both through my mouth

    • @breathcentral764
      @breathcentral764  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Inhales can be either through the nose or mouth, beginners tend to do better through the nose. Exhale always through the mouth.
