I've been playing for the past day, so here are some tips in the comments: -The optimal way to start the game is to leave the city via the storage under the lighthouse. There are some enemies along the way that can punish new new players, but once you can manage it the route dumps you at a beach, where an injured guy is asking for a bandage. Give him one and voila, your blood debt is cleared. Saves 150 silver. -Be sure to talk to the lady in the corner of town looking for oddities. Handing here a mushroom shield from the dungeon she talks about (which is the easiest dungeon I've encountered) earns a pretty 70 silver. -The trip to Bert isn't too hard, there are few enemies along the way. I suggest packing some rations and making your way there after not too long. The vendors there sell a better backpack and better lantern, which are nice. You can also pick up a perk that let's you use bows from further away, which is pretty great. Bring some money or secure some loot along the way to pay for this. -Grab yourself an adventurer's backpack. Some vendors might have it in stock for a fair price or you can visit the weird thing in the cave and ask for one (don't ask). They have less carry space than the bigger ones, but let you dodge. Keep one on you as you can plop down the big bag at a dungeon entrance and explore the dungeon with the adventurer's backpack. No need to panic drop a backpack if the enemy gets the drop on you. -Fang weapons are a good upgrade over iron. Farm some doggos and make one; that bleed let's you wait out the more obnoxious enemies, which is good. The recipe is the same for every weapon type, so don't buy the recipe more than once (or at all if you remember it on repeats). Having that weapon handy if you join the blue collective is good, as it can be used to progress the quest. -Be ready for winter. Get warm clothes, stock some warmth bugs, or get a fur tent. The cold isn't the worst thing in the world, but finding countermeasures once it starts can be irritating. -Keep an eye out for a small sapphire and small aquamarine. They open a door in the dungeon mentioned in tip 2. Yet to open it myself, but I'm sure the reward is suitably disappointing.
Oh the gem door reward is pretty disappointing alright. Just scavenger clothing and 3 hp potions. Not worth the potential silver one could get from selling the gems.
@Zetsumei the saytr The Souls series is considered one of the most important video game sagas of all time and influenced the world of video games in a way that managed to create a sub-genre that refers to titles with specific characteristics such as: Third-person action within a role-playing genre. - google
Great job on the game!!! I've been gaming since I was 3 years old and started on the gameboy and have collected over 350 games and 13 different systems over the years, I can tell this will be an amazing game. Also its nice to see someone caring about the games they make unlike other developers.

Finally for this game. Got really excited when my local radio station listed this as a new release for video games. So it's definitely not a sleeper game and has some popularity. Thanks for your videos too and keeping us updated. Look forward to more videos from you!

If you go to the bandit camp right next to ciezro and roll on top of the room that requires 2 power coils you will find a talk to npc prompt which will open the door giving you free access to melfino's trade backpack which holds 110.

I really like that you put the gothic musics, it kind of reminds me of gothic, first time I see gameplay of it. More like modern gothic or like " what if gothic was created in 2019" nice vid by the way , thumbs up !
I will add one extra tip for early game. To get a quick Writ of favor, save one bandage, go into the cierzo stockroom and drop down into the beach. There will be a guy you can give a bandage to to get the favor. Also there will be a shrimp who can beat your shit in if you're not careful
Love this game so far and great content btw. By any chance has anyone experienced a glitch with the map where the background stays as the tutorial map but has the normal maps icon?
the only game where i find dying is actually scary as fuck, at least soul game u can keep trying and get back your soul, this game randomly drop your item, teleport you who knows where and the worst lose all your item T_T
Man I was super skeptical about getting this game at first.. looked cheaply made.. weaker graphics then AAA titles and etc. but man... am I GLAD I gave this game a chance. This is a very refreshing and unique experience. I absolutely love this game. I’m not too far just yet but I’m about 10 or 11 hours in so far.. and I am absolutely loving it. You have some of the best editing skills on youtube. On the other hand, the video is very weird to me, you covered too much stuff without telling the important things behind each of those things. For example, i don't like to stay in the tutorial area very much, just grab bandages and some berries, you heal the sailor on the beach and then start gathering resources. Alchemy/cooking recipies are either bought/found or crafted from memory, you don't have to buy the recipe if you know the recipe(very important). A big part of the survival aspects is to let players use alchemy/cooking to upgrade their stats or speed up their game, for example always sprinting with buffs and then using items to restore burnt stamina or just sleeping. I see waaaaaaaaay too many people just Walking.....WALKING in the game and then complaining there is no fast travel. Another important feature(or oversight from the devs) is the ability to create your little camp inside each village so close to the alchemist i recommand you make 2 campires close to each other, put a cooking pot and alchemy kit on them. After that drop 4-5 backpacks and they can be your chests, also plant a plant tent there to make a very efficient base. Overall i have to congratulate you on making a great video, been so helpul but at the same time not really geting into the meat of the game, being a very shallow/superficial look at the game. I mostly avoided to give specific instructions about weapons/builds because i hope people use most weapons and figure wich ones they like more. I am using a sword/dagger combination because i think it's the most fun one. Another thing to note here is that weapons have Reach and they swing in an area of effect so even 1 H weapons are extremly good +a few buffs(better with unique weapons). And maybe you could have mentioned some of the items that increase movement speed or buffs(Major oversight).
Hey. Thx, great comment! So I just lost the house quest. It seems that everybody went there separate ways, but they gave me directions on how to get to them. I was thinking man should I be writing this down? How am I supposed to remember all of this?
