Addendum: I kinda forgot that the crit and damage buffs were a feature of Hammer and NOT Catalyst. This may actually give it an Edge on Power Tempest, because while you probably don't want to go through the trouble of setting up Grand Finale on Tempest it would immensely benefit from a crit chance buff. Edit 1: Turns out I messed up the file a little bit before uploading, which explains the weird long string of nothing at the end. It's fixed now, shouldn't happen again.
Sword/Warhorn catalyst condi is gonna be so fricken fun, necro pistol/torch CORE fun fun fun and its not discussed here but im excited for the rifle for mesmer that we will get later....but axe/shield dagger/whatever sounds like a very fun core mesmer to lvl from 1-80

Idk if it's good or not but Harbinger with staff + scepter/torch was fun. I not a fan of Scourge's sand shade and pistols in general so this was a fun condi build Really liked the harbinger shroud and how it allowed you to jump around and suspend enemies in air and twist their souls.
Staff is pretty underpowered as a Condi Weapon right now. If you really don't want to use pistol, you're probably better off using the second set with Scepter + Dagger and a swapping sigil like Doom (or Geomancy if you're not loaded)
Thanks for this! But on the side, I do think it's funny that every time you say "warhorn" the automatic caption "translation" is Wuhan or Warhol. (I'm elderly and my hearing isn't so great so I always use auto-captioning).

Been gaming since the 70s, and used to spend a lot of time on theory crafting with friends at MIT, but now it's so easy to get clues from folks more adept than my slow and elderly brain. This morning I was watching your weapon mastery 3 parter between chores on my retirement hobby farm. I haven't spent significant time on SOTO yet because I've really been too busy last day-ish, so I doubly appreciate the meta game creators this week!
What for? Core Shroud skills are terrible compared to the Especs, Core doesn't have a third good Power Traitline and Condi GS is only used for it's Whirl finishers to proc Bitter Chill.

Sword wahorn weaver does 50k+ dps on big hitbox and 47k on small hitbox so it is stronger than dagger as shown by multiple people in the beta

If I didn't ad-lib at least 60% of my videos I'd put in the scripts for captions.
