In most of the cases, engineers run multiple projects at a time. They go on rounds across each project. This way, when an engineer visits a particular project after a week's time, if the last one week's constructed portion had gone wrong, major blunder causing a lot of material loss / rework (because of not following technicals, structural plan), what would he do in general? How do you handle, Senthil sir? As a customer, what can we expect from the engineer in this case?
Physical presence of a junior engineer is mandatory. The Engineer/Contractor can visit periodically but need to know the day to day proceedings with the report (document/image/videos) from the site staff. Mistakes will happen. We need to know how to correct it, that is the defining factor of a professional. If something gone blunder, no real professional will proceed with the same. As a customer, you need to find a right engineer. He will do the rest.

Sir, நான் Labour contract மூலம் வீடு கட்ட ஆரம்பித்துள்ளேன். அதில் roof beam வராது என்றும் அதற்கு பதிலாக hall மட்டும் 16 × 18 பெரிதாக உள்ளதால் 2 way slab போட்டு தருவோம் என்று labour contractor கூறினார். மேலும் சில columnகளை base மட்டத்தில் நிறுத்தி விட்டார். சில columns மட்டுமே roof வரை வரும் என்றார். இவ்வாறு கட்டுவது சரியா என்று ஆலோசனை கூறவும் ஐயா.
Structural drawing பெற்று அதன்படி வேலை செய்தால், கட்டிடத்திற்கு நல்லது.

Hi sir, nanga load bearing structure la G+1 house build panitu varom. First floor la 3 bedroom with attached bathroom build pana plan panirukom.. First floor 3 Bathroom ku keela entha wall um kidayathu so 4.5inch wall vaiklam nu irukkom. Apdi vaikrathu nala ethavathu problem varuma... Atha pathi konjam solunga sir
No issues but make sure you provide a good lintel beam and also make sure the roof slab load must not rest on the 4.5 inch wall which means the roof slab must rest on the 9 inch load bearing walls...You can finish the 4.5 inch wall after completing the roof slab and then it can be levelled with the roof slab.. 👍👍
