கடந்த வருடம் என்னுடைய வீட்டிற்கு மூன்றுவிதமான கூலிங் டைல்ஸ் உபயோகம் படுத்தினேன் KAG, AGL, RAK. அதில் AGL மிக அருமையாக உள்ளது.

ஒரு சந்தேகம், வெறும் தரை மட்டும் போடலாமா, எவ்வளவு வருடம் சிமெண்ட் தரை தாங்கும்
1. Check slap Underlayment & Crack
2. Arrest the crack
3. Apply the Waterproofing coating ( high build thickness for long terms & crack bridging min 2mm )
4. Apply mortar or chips screed as per ratio and rain water tapper system
5. Installation of tiles with spacer gap min 3mm to 4mm or 50% gap from tiles thickness
6. Apply the tiles grout in to the spacer joint and before applying grout must put water for curing 3 - 4 days
7. Finally check any tiles have in loose and water stagnation, tiles bole sound
8. Finished

Hello sir, need a clarification. Do we need to cure the floor for 3-4 days after laying the tiles and then do the grouting? The anchor says grouting should be done the very next day. Please clarify as we are building the house now. Thanks for your help.

Better put a corrugated steel (colour sheet) roof over the entire roof area like they do in Kerala, it will keep the house cool and you will get a large hall can be used for functions.

Sir, Thank you very much for your detailed explanation about laying of roof protection material both conventional and modern type of system followed in tamil nadu. As you said nowdays the lime is not good quality and cheating by the supplier of the same. And also nobody is following the spacer to lay the tiles by the tiles laying person. Anyhow you have explained the tips to take care while finishing the top roof protection.

Chips concrete layer than rain coat paint from pidilite company. There is no extra load on roof and also cost cutting. If you walk on the roof on 12 clock you will not feel the heat. I did like that.
