Man, the filmography on this has just about reached top gear levels, and I'm not saying that lightly. You guys are, truly, the best youtube car channel. I can tell because I watch almost all of them, or at least the ones above 150000 subscribers. It's not even close, there is nothing that comes near your presentation, humor, knowledge, filmography, production value, likeability,... Nothing. Even channels with 5 times the subscribers do not produce the quality you guys produce. You really need your own TV show, though that could also ruin the format because you would have to answer to a media company. Please keep going, I'll keep watching your episodes religiously. Last April I saw 1 of the 37 Kimeras Evo37 that there are, and it was the only one that exists in Spain, and I have to say that it is beautiful in person and sounds really spectacular, like a racing car. The definition of a true drivers car.
This is for someone who has the means and wants pure driving enjoyment, not a status symbol. This is not the kind of car that shows up in rap videos. Fully agree with you that this is what I think I'd want if I had the means to purchase one.

Lancia's always had something special about them, and they should have never left us! Stellantis, bring back Lancia, and not just electric ones. It's a thing of beauty, top shelf material alongside Singer 911s and the Stratos. I always loved the look of the Beta Montecarlo and the 037 just took that to another level, as well as providing the performance its road going sibling lacked.
No wonder it's called Kimera, it has the best of both worlds; a turbo & a supercharger (without parasitic loss). Imagine a Hellcat with a setup like that. 🥶🥶🥶
This and the GMA T50 are the only current supercars that have that "I want this" factor for me. I have a Lancia Scorpion, which shares, oh, two panels and some floor with this thing, and even that is a ton of fun.

*Jaw hit the floor* what a gorgeous machine! It is soooooo freaking cool!! Yes it's a little over the top in styling but it's also about as elegant as an Italian gentleman in a handmade suit. What car has widened wheel arches like that and somehow it looks like they are not added afterwards? The mix of straight and curvy, the stance, the paint vs carbon, the proportions, the detailing in the engine bay, the 3d striped interior padding... it's freaking awesome!!!
This car is just so desirable. The Martini version of is just the best looking car on the market today. What a beauty. Kimera is doing what Lancia lacks: building great cars. They are build quite close to my home, so something to be proud of.
I wonder what this would look like with a slightly smaller wheel but thicker tire profile. Regardless, I love seeing these restomod cars with so much thought and detail involved in them.

The main reason why I still have my first car. Nothing beats the raw engagement of an actual drivers car. I was able to enjoy driving her alot more during those early days. Nowadays though, with so much traffic everywhere, it's only taken out on sunny days on a low volume traffic weekend. 🙂 Kudos to Kimera for offering some variety to the landscape. 👍😎
The logo is most likely a Chimera. It's a Greek mythological beast which incorporates the head of a Lion, the body of a Sheep/Goat/Ram, the tail of a Serpent and in some depictions even has wings. You can see it has the tail of a snake in the video. No idea what this has to do with the car, rallying or restomodding but I dig the logo!

I actually thank God for people like you, you give me as an sufferer of CFS/ME and someone mostly bound to a wheelchair if able to travel some relief from the daily grind and pain of not getting done what you should as a 50 year old male. This is my dream car. They did a Martini livery white car and that's the ultimate spec. So beautiful. The stalks are Fiat. You'll find them Ferraris, Lancias and Fiats and they break really easily. It's good they made them out of carbon to withstand time!

Why only a production of 37 tho? They could build 1,000 of them consisting of new duplicate parts and all would be sold. Are they not interested in making money?
This might sound crazy, but I feel the car is wildly undervalued. Think about it. There's 1300ish Ferrari F40's and they're commanding nearly $2M. This is lighter, more powerful, more bespoke, better quality and has a tremendous pedigree. Hell even a Singer Porsche is $1M so as far as I'm concerned getting this thing for $750K is really a bargain, especially considering there's only 37 of them.
I like that you can pick your own color with this car. But it makes sense. It's bespoke. I think my choice would be Honda Championship White, with those headlight housings in black. Subtle, yet beautiful. Or maybe everything the same as the prototype, but in Toyota's Sizzling Crimson Mica 3R0 paint color. The sound... the super charger whine, the turbo whistling away. The crackles. It makes rally car noises and whines like a V10 at the same time. And, I mean, come on, it's a rally legend. But resto-modded. It's such a beautiful car. Wow. I'm honestly kind of heartbroken. I can't afford one, knowing that if I miss out on one of these, I will NEVER get the chance to drive one.

I just want to confirm, to have a Kimera EVO 037, do you have to originally own a Lancia 037? Because they mentioned the donor badge, so my assumption is you can't buy one outright, you'd need to give in your own 037 to "resto-mod" it

The logo is most likely a Chimera. It's a Greek mythological beast which incorporates the head of a Lion, the body of a Sheep/Goat/Ram, the tail of a Serpent and in some depictions even has wings. You can see it has the tail of a snake in the video. No idea what this has to do with the car, rallying or restomodding but I dig the logo!

I actually thank God for people like you, you give me as an sufferer of CFS/ME and someone mostly bound to a wheelchair if able to travel some relief from the daily grind and pain of not getting done what you should as a 50 year old male. I have nothing but gratitude to you two for all the pain relief your content has given ME. This is my dream car. They did a Martini livery white car and that's the ultimate spec. So beautiful. The stalks are Fiat. You'll find them Ferraris, Lancias and Fiats and they break really easily. It's good they made them out of carbon to withstand time!

Kimura 037 basically is VERY similar to Lancia Rally 037 due to how completely identical those cars are.

Why only a production of 37 tho? They could build 1,000 of them consisting of new duplicate parts and all would be sold. Are they not interested in making money?
This might sound crazy, but I feel the car is wildly undervalued. Think about it. There's 1300ish Ferrari F40's and they're commanding nearly $2M. This is lighter, more powerful, more bespoke, better quality and has a tremendous pedigree. Hell even a Singer Porsche is $1M so as far as I'm concerned getting this thing for $750K is really a bargain, especially considering there's only 37 of them.
I like that you can pick your own color with this car. But it makes sense. It's bespoke. I think my choice would be Honda Championship White, with those headlight housings in black. Subtle, yet beautiful. Or maybe everything the same as the prototype, but in Toyota's Sizzling Crimson Mica 3R0 paint color.
The sound... the super charger whine, the turbo whistling away. The crackles. It makes rally car noises and whines like a V10 at the same time.
And, I mean, come on, it's a rally legend. But resto-modded. It's such a beautiful car. Wow.
I'm honestly kind of heartbroken. I can't afford one, knowing that if I miss out on one of these, I will NEVER get the chance to drive one.

I just want to confirm, to have a Kimera EVO 037, do you have to originally own a Lancia 037? Because they mentioned the donor badge, so my assumption is you can't buy one outright, you'd need to give in your own 037 to "resto-mod" it

Those stalks are from Fiat, my father's 1997 Tempra and my first car, a 1990 Fiat Elba had those, fairly ordinary parts, but the Kimera's fit and finish is amazing

Amazing that Fiat-engine debuted 1966. Stalks are great too, exact replicas of old Fiat/Lancia/Ferrari but here in carbon/aluminium. Funny he didn’t point that out
