- Adjusting valve clearances is very important for a bike to to run optimally. You can do it yourself even if you are not an expert. Just follow along and the end result will definitely improve the way your Apache RTR 200 4V performs!

tvs authorized service center basically ignore this very very important task during the service...so we have to do it ourselves..after doing the settings...my bike's performance has been drastically improved..and bike became much more smoother..tvs should do this in service... anyway thanks vai.. excellent job❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

TVS does this adjustment but only when asked or if the noise if considerable. As you said, this must be add to their jobsheet as default ( just like tyre pressure check or water wash ).

Hello i have valve sound problem to , but this sound starting when, engine is hot, and when this become cold, sound is disappearing. this metod will fix my problem?
because in tvs center, they adjusted valve 0.6mm, but when engine become hot sound is starting again.
What is the bennefit I will notice if i decarbon the engine head and if i also change the tappet,valve and rocker arm in 160 4v?

Align marker pe v rehne par valve tight kyun hai.
Maine dono align mark ko sahi jagah pe rakha hai.
Tabhi lock nut ko rotate karne se valve tight lag raha hai aur spring dheela v ho ja raha hai.

Bro does your rtr 200 gear has a sharp noise when you switch gear. Like every bikes. In my rtr 200 (bs4) when we change gear there's no sound ,it's like we really don't know that we changed a gear.

Tappet clearance engine running ke baad (i mean after starting engine) karna chahiye ya nahi. Ya fir cold condition me karna chahiye.

Te hablo desde colombia, yo tengo una apache 200 4v modelo 2022 y mi moto me a presentado un sonido solo cuando esta caliente, la he manejado por 30 o 40 minutos para calentar bien el motor ya le cambie cadenilla y las guias y calibre valvulas y los balancines todo lo revisaron y esta bien, a que se podra deber esos sonidos que paresen valvulas descalibradas pero que no son y por que motivo se descalibran las valvulas si los balancines estan buenos? Te agradezco mucho la respuesta SALUDOS

Yes
Please use front brake more. Ratio of breaking for rtr200 is 65:35 . So front break is more effective for slowing down vehicle. For emergency brakes use both.

Hi, are you facing any power Lag or jerks while maintaining constant Speeds in the range 50-60 km/hr in 5th gear..
Many of the 200V riders have reported the same issue, TVS guys are trying to solve the issue with ecu updates.

@@aloneriders2690hi,when I given for 2nd service I have mentioned this problem...they said they have resolved....don't know what they have done...next day it started giving jerks again...even service people don't know the exact cause.better tell them to update/reflash the ECU once.

Am facing overheating issue in my bike avenger 160bs6 (10000km).... What is the correct time to adjust the tappet...Plz guide
It is generally recommended to check valve clearance every 5-7k kms, and do necessary adjustments. This can vary if the tappet noise is noticeably high. If you are facing iver heating issue, use one higher grade engine oil, i generally suggest bajaj users to put motul 3100 20w50. Works very well, keeps the engine cool, and reduces noise level.
No you should not use 20w50 engine oil as oil pump can't pump oil to head and various gallery inside engine while designing engine the oil passages are made keeping in mind 10w30 which tvs recommends use only recommend oil from company owners manual ... Or else no warranty or can damage ur engine... For some km the engine may feel no sound or smooth but that would be dancing ur engine from inside
I've tried adjust the clearance from 0.05mm to 0.08 mm..
So many times..

Tappet sound still present.

In my opinion, agar koi expert ye kam karna chahe to hi karao, warna noise reduce karne k liye jugaadu mechanic se ye kaam karanese behtar hai ki thora noise sehen karlo.

Nehi karte hai, un logo k pas utna time hota nehi hai, free service k liye to bilkul hi nehi.

in the service manual it is written to check clearance in 1st service and 4 the service..in 1st they didn't do it..so we did it ourselves.. service center is basically useless 😂
