There are very few native Korean people who are Muslim, if you find Muslim people wearing hijab, most of them come from other countries. Maybe in Seoul, Jeju, Busan maybe there Korean people often see people wearing hijab because there are famous places and many from other countries on vacation or school there, and maybe the people in the city are used to it and often see people wearing hijab but it's different from cities in Korea which are not very famous and rarely have visitors from other countries. Surely if they see Muslims or those who wear the hijab they will feel strange and wonder what the woman is wearing on her head, especially if it's an old person, they curious but they are shy to ask. Usually they will look on if they are curious, not only to women with hijab, but maybe also because her face looks different / foreigner, or skin color difference, and not like Korean society🤣
