I made this for lunch... with the rustic bread.... I also put two table spoons of crumbled Italian sausage on to as an additional garnish.... unless you use a high-speed blender like a vita-mix... the texture is not creamy smooth...I boiled the carrots first before I caramelized them to make them softer...OMG fantastic
The recipes I have tried from your channel turned out delicious and the simple ingredients made them easy to prepare. Great chef. Great show for culinary inspiration 🥕🥕🥕thank you from Canada 🇨🇦🍷🍷🍷
There is nothing like thinking about something for dinner and then thinking about it and Mr. Akis just puts it on the channel :D it's called good timing, thank you very much sir for great recipe !!! btw your moussaka is the best :)
I am surprised (sceptical to be honest) by adding that much lemon juice, but I will certainly give it a try! Thank you for providing us with an exciting soup recipe 💛
Very inspiring. If you don’t want to use cow milk, you could use some coconut milk or other plant-based milk. I think this would be good with a little tomato and sesame crackers.
Made beef & chicken combo soup, with parsley, bit of black pepper, bit of salt (high blood pressure no fun), mushroom, carrot, red pepper for a warmer.
So nice video 👍🏻 So delicious and amazing recipe 😋 superb effort 👍🏻 really enjoyed your video 😊 thanks for sharing friend 😊 stay connected kitchen with duaa 💞💞
@@akispetretzikisen I made almost exactly the same soup last weekend, the ONLY difference being I used a couple of potatoes for thickening. Needless to say, it was pretty damn good! Cheers, mate!
Great Recipe. Made it this weekend. BUT ! - It turned our vitamix (blender) container green ! (Probably because of the turmeric). Vinegar, baking soda scrubbing, overnight soaking, etc would not take it out ! As it turns out the solution is to just put the container outside, and the UV light breaks down the stain, and it fades away with no effort after a few hours.
I can probably leave the skin on the carrots since I'll blend it at the end. I don't know if instead of cream, cold butter would make it smoother. As for the lemon, I love acidity.
So glad you are #1 in Greece! We love you in the US as well, Akis!
Well what can one say, you are the BEST, just in time for your lovely warming soup for this British weather we are having.

Add half a peeled apple next time.
