In tribal stage you can undo your alliance with another tribe if you use firebombs on them, as that's the only way to attack allies that I know. I haven't tested what happens if you then kill them though as I found this out while I was going for green in tribal (let's be real it's the best one anyway lol.)
That's interesting, I wonder if this can be used to keep them happy towards our tribe to prevent them from attacking, but then use Firebombs on them to attack them in a full aggression speedrun on Hard or something! Could be fun!
Im so glad I found this channel. Spore is one of my favorite games of all time and it is a massive shame how little content there is of this game on TH-cam. I mean gameplay wise, there has always been creative showcases and such which are cool, but its not as interesting if you never use those creations in game. Ive binged all of your Spore content recently and love all of it. I know Spore isnt exactly a bottomless well of possible TH-cam content, outside of creation showcases, but there is definitely enough of a game there to create some interesting series.

I love hearing about spore glitches that have practical/silly uses, and even mechanics that aren't bugs that people just don't know about (like the one where you use infinite energy at the beginning of space stage to get frequent flyer quickly - not a glitch, a mechanic). All the ones that crash the game forever get all the attention! As someone who has had spore literally half their life, it's so amazing to learn new things about this game again.
i like the loan feature, that sounds like an interesting mod. especially for space stage, take a loan out and fund a war or colonization effort but you’re completely broke until you pay them back.

I would have loved to know that the communication bypass glitch existed during my "no deaths on the timeline" Hard difficulty playthrough. My strategy for Civ usually involves buying out my neighbor using Tribal vehicles, and then waiting to get a good nestegg of Spucks before I start attacking what is now the only other nation on the planet. The number of times I got screwed over because a nation on the brink of declaring war asked me to declare war on someone else, thereby forcing me into battle prematurely, is unreal. It's the sole reason I started backing up my Game0 folder before exiting Tribal, and why my checkpointing rules got thrown out the window.
I think a cool and relatively challenging speed run would be to beat the grox. I wouldn’t mind if it was a few parts since it would honestly probably take quite a long time xD
There's a turret glitch in civ stage where you just sell your almost destroyed turret for half the price and keep placing and replacing. That saved my run one time
Yeah that's a good one! I used that in a couple challenge runs. The selling price is based on the game's difficulty as well. Easy sells for full price, Normal for 75%, and Hard for half price :)
the first one is really usefull for economic runs as the vehicle only needs Speed/Economic power and does not need health since the economic vehicles are never under attack anyway
5:24 I remember when Ctrl+Alt+Delete just brought up the Task Manager. 8:32 Is that the Arcology factory building I see...? The Steam version of Spore crashes more often than any other. It also has more bugs, glitches and lag.

The stacking city planners doesn't work in Space Stage, unfortunately. Not sure why but the stacking doesn't work the same way in Space. And pulling buildings from other colonies always crashes the game even on the oldest version in Space too. Those might be Civ only for now.
im super late, but i found that you can also hang up on another nation by hitting ctrl s, exiting to the main menu, and then reopening the civ game. much less convenient, but this is how i did it before i learned that contacting another nation also allows you to hang up on demands!
Oh that's good to know, I didn't think of that for ignoring their demands! There is a similar trick used by saving to get out actually paying the Economic bid to buy a city (doesn't actually buy the city but gives the "Generous Bid" bonus for free without paying) and saving works in Space Stage in a similar way!
I know one glitch in creature stage so basically this glitch allows you to socialize with your mate and then she can be part of your pack also if you want i will explain this glitch to you
I think I know this one. If there are no other creatures of our species left at the nest, we can call a mate but then add them to the pack and call another mate until we have a full pack. I think that's it, but left me know if there was something else to this also!
question: it's possible to visit your saved games in Space Stage. Is it possible to use one Space Stage game to help win another game's Civilization Stage or Tribe Stage? Or will whatever damage you do in the saved-game-planet in the Space game be undone when you go back to the Civ or Tribe game?
It is possible for saved games to interact with each other. In Space travelling to an already saved game planet is possible but the game will limit our ships abilities to not alter the planet, like using terra tools and others. But what is interesting is when travelling to a New Game planet in the main menu that hasn't been used for a saved game yet. We can pre-alter the terrain before playing on it. Getting the detail piece on the cross section can be a bit tricky. When it kind of "snaps" into place is usually what I'm looking for. Then removing the correct side of the crossed over piece from under that detail piece is important, if it all gets moved, undo and try the other one :)
I have onetime glitch in creature stage: My nest was in the water and when I went to land I died beacuse of sea monster. It did beacuse during the cut scene the epic spawn on beach and the creatures do not go to land.
I haven't seen an Epic in the starting Creature Stage cutscene, that's cool! But it is possible to force the starting nest to be in the water by using Planet Sculpting tools by another Saved Space game on a New Game planet that will be used for Creature Stage. Then the game sees the land/water reversed and the sea monster will eat the creature on land.

No worries, it's kind of hard. I use two hands and my right hand index finger for Delete and stretch my right pinky to keep holding the mouse down :)

I don't think they have all been implemented yet, I think some speedruns can still use some of these!
