    The most fun I've had in the space stage is actually fighting the Grox. They really...reallllly...REALLLY...don't like it when you terraform their planets.
    Even bringing a world to tier one is sufficient to prevent them from placing a colony.
    So...y'know...
    Give 'em the gift of volcanoes.
    To help build an atmosphere of course.

      Last year with no place left to turn I prayed to God in repentance then begged for help with all my heart, "I was until then a lifelong Atheist."
      I then had a dream of Jesus coming before God and he spoke of the Tabernacle in perfect context, "A word I didn't know existed because I've never read the bible", and the love I felt from Jesus was unlike anything I've ever felt before - A lifetime of joy every second - It brought me to sobbing and it changed my life forever.
      I've had other miracles since, a few being a light turning on in answer to deeply needful prayer 6 times, seeing a orb of light hours before a major surgery, seeing an Angel in a dream the night my mother prayed for me to see one, "Without telling me", and so much more.
      Know that God and Jesus ARE real and that they love us deeply. Let go of your hatred and Imagine yourself holding the people who've hurt you. Tell them you love and forgive them and I believe we should do our best to follow, "I've failed many times", the 10 commandments.
      Always have hope. I believe love is the answer.

      It was not a good game gameplay-wise, since it introduced several different game genres within one game through the evolutionary stages, so most people have at least one stage they hate.
      For example I didn't like the civilization stage and the space stage - I did try them a couple of times, but eventually I went to just stopping to play with that alien race once I completed the tribal stage and then started over again with a new planet and new alien. That was back when Spore was still new and I was a teen with much enthusiasm for simulation type games. I don't like strategy games (only like 1-2), they're just not for me.
      However Maxis did take a risk with Spore and that I respect very much. It's a shame that no other game has tried to use the evolution concept that Spore had. It could be a better game with some tweaks, an art style change and maybe a new gameplay concept for the different stages.

    My intense, unquenchable desire for efficiency, makes it hard for me to be a violent monster in the space stage. It’s because that if you destroy Species HomeWorld, you only get the colonizer up to three cities. But if you buy or befriend into possession of their home world, get to keep all 12 of their cities that HomeWorlds normally come with. That or you have to be a zealot and use your zealot super weapon on the HomeWorld to convince them to jump over to your side and then you can otherwise be a monster. But then you have to wait for your super weapon every single time

On the other hand a herbivorous species only needs plants to survive and in the story wiped out all life that wasn’t either them or the few plants they ate.

    I am actually a member of this spieces here to share some facts
    "It is the position of the American Dietetic Association that appropriately planned vegetarian diets, including total vegetarian or vegan diets, are healthful, nutritionally adequate, and may provide health benefits in the prevention and treatment of certain diseases. Well-planned vegetarian diets are appropriate for individuals during all stages of the life cycle, including pregnancy, lactation, infancy, childhood, and adolescence, and for athletes."
    - Position of the American Dietetic Association: vegetarian diets
    „83% of farmland goes towards the farming of animals. If the world shifted to a plant based diet, we could feed every mouth on the planet and global farmland could also be reduced by more than 75% cent This is an area equivelant of the U.S, EU, chaina and australier combined.“
    - Reducing food’s environmental impacts through producers and consumers
    "This study analysed 313 different food systems and found that the lowest GHG emissions came from the vegan diets, while the highest came from ones with high meat and milk demand." - Food systems in a zero-deforestation world: Dietary change is more important than intensification for climate targets in 2050
    There is a sinister truth hidden here: The more animals suffer, the better they are in terms of climate change because they are way more efficient. They use less land and their food is brought right to them, so they grow faster and don’t expend energy on things like walking.
    - Grazed and confused? FCRN Food Climate Research Network
    "In some countries, approximately 80% of total consumption of medically important antibiotics is in the animal sector, largely for growth promotion in healthy animals. Over-use and misuse of antibiotics in animals and humans is contributing to the rising threat of antibiotic resistance."
    - Stop using antibiotics in healthy animals to prevent the spread of antibiotic resistance World Health Organization
    „Replacing all animal-based items with plant-based replacement diets can add enough food to feed 350 million additional people, more than the expected benefits of eliminating all supply chain food loss just from the land in the US.“
    - The opportunity cost of animal based diets exceeds all food losses
    Also in the US 99% of all animals are factory farmed. In these farms things happen such as: Baby pigs are "thumped" to death by having their heads crushed with an object infront of their mother, baby chickens are being killed in in plastic bags or by being culled (have fun looking that one up) similar things happen to baby cows and obviously all the animals are held in horrible ways that are literally hell. Watch Dominion on TH-cam for an in-depth view on how bad things are. And despite how small the cages of almost all animals in the US are and despite the fact that almost all of them get the bear minimum for living, 41% of the US landmass are just used for animal farming.
    All of these things aren't opinions or "the ranting of an angry vegan" those are just literally raw facts. Thought I throw them out there as my spieces intended.
    Anyways, gotta go eat some grass now
    PS. Fun video, your channel got me actually back into the game

      Isn't land used by livestock generally unsuitable for farming? Having animals roam and graze is surprisingly good for the environment, as they expend vital nutrients and water, keep plants from growing too much and using all the resources, and pushing seeds into the ground. An even if we did use much more land for crops, land management would have to jump up way high like replacing unsuitable soil, fertilizing, using pesticides, killing off a lot more wildlife than what would threaten a chicken, and having to be mindful of ground and river water quality.
      The US from what I know isn't lacking in food at all, it's more soaked in food than anything, it's just that the quality of food may be terrible from overcrowded conditions of both crops and livestock, because quantity gets you the money to keep going, even if a lot of the food will be discarded and rot later on.
      There's more I would like to say but it would just end up a giant wall of text.

    • @truedarkness4052
      @truedarkness4052 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Anthracite_coal Not really. What happens is you have all sorts of other side effects such as deforestation (as seen in the amazon, with ranchers being the main cause), organic pollution and runoff, much greater land usage to sustain the same amount of consumers, and methane emissions all the same.
      Also, all the cons you listed occur with animal ag since those animals need to be fed as well. By just having land used for feeding people, you reduced the amount needed drastically.

    • @Anthracite_coal
      @Anthracite_coal ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@truedarkness4052 deforestation will happen whether or not you have a farm or a ranch, as people do that without needing the land for food already. Polution from livestock may be due to overcrowding, I know that in some areas they have essentially giant "shit pits" where manure and stuff are piled that you can smell for miles. That's really a management problem with the overcrowding thing. Additionally as I said, a great deal of that land is unsuitable for crops, I'm sure that is isn't fun to replace clay and rocky soil with earth properly fertilized for the crop you want to grow that won't get infected with something that will kill people.
      I don't think the methane and carbon emissions are all that bad from livestock, as is it really only emissions that cycled from the atmosphere and land anyway rather than it being mined and burned into the air as several tons of somewhat radioactive ash per day.
      Animals are also fed a great deal of crop byproduct, which is like corn husks and stuff, and as I said, since America is soaked in food, it really wouldn't matter much if food suitable for human consumption was only given to livestock, as it would have better use there rather than being thrown out after no one buys it. We have a massive amount of land to feed only just 300 million people.

    • @veganbytheway57
      @veganbytheway57 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Anthracite_coal "Having animals roam and graze is surprisingly good for the enviroment" It's not, I literally send several studies proving them, one of them is literally the biggest ever contucted on the subject.
      "as they expend vital nutrients and water, keep lants from growing too much and using all the resources, and pushing seeds into the ground" You can live perfectly healthy on a vegan diet as the study from the worlds biggest organisation of nutrition and diets that I showed above says. I don't know what you mean with "they keep plants from growing too much" seeing that by far most animals are in factory farms and that it would be good if we could reforest all the wasted area animal farming takes up right now. I mean I literally said in my comment this:
      There is a sinister truth hidden here: The more animals suffer, the better they are in terms of climate change because they are way more efficient. They use less land and their food is brought right to them, so they grow faster and don’t expend energy on things like walking.
      - Grazed and confused? FCRN Food Climate Research Network
      So your free range farms that "push seeds in the ground" and "keep plants from growing" are worse for the planet than facotry farms where they never even touch grass or the sun in the first place.
      Then you say that "land management would have to jump up way high" but it wouldn't, thats the whole point. We use the land we currently use to feed livestock and plant on their eatable plants for humans. We had to do LESS FARMING because they are 80 billion less mouths to feed in terms of livestock. Like, my study (again, biggest ever done on the matter) literally says we could feed more people and safe several continents worth of land. So we would need to use less soil, fertilizer, pesticides and so on than we are doing now.
      Furthermore, it's important to remember that grasslands specifically also get sprayed with pesticides regularly, they get infested by pests, they are many times ploughed to sow new or improved grasses and to fertilize the soil.
      - The impact of grassland management on biogeochemicalcycles involving carbon, nitrogen and phosphorus
      - A review of insecticide use on pastures and forage crops in New Zealand
      - EFFECT OF FERTILIZATION ON GRASSLAND QUALITY
      - The impact of ploughing intensively managed temperate grasslands on N2O, CH4 and CO2 fluxes
      And I know that we have already probably enough food to feed everyone but that's not the point. The point is we could get not only the same amount but more food with less resources, less ethical trouble (have you read the things I've writen that we've done to animals and that are well documented?) and less emissions.
      Your whole comment is just saying "Actually no" to my studies which are all from world leading organisations
