Ok, so from seeing this 8:00 and the cell stage video with turbo speed, basically eveything about speed and cooldown boosts when moving is "this is the power of love". I used a different trick to migrate to another continent, clicking on the stop game button, using freecam to see another continent and then choose a nest from there is less tedious than trying to travel to the sea through ctrl+alt+supr. The sea monster will automatically eat you the first time the moment you switch to the nest, but then you'll be safe afterwards, however, there is a small chance the game will not let your creature move (except for jumping), but that gets fixed once you call a mate and enter the creature editor.
7:41 in middle school my friend told me that he experienced a bug in Spore that had him in the water and would be eaten by the sea monster if he went on land. I've spent the past 15 years thinking he was full of shit, and imagine my surprise when I realize that this time he was probably being genuine.
I actually did the infinite pack glitch before but I've never been able to replicate it again, but what is cool about it is that you can bring all of the pack into the tribal stage and essentially have infinite food from eggs.
I think I brought through like 3 more creatures into the tribal stage than I was supposed to in my run when I did the glitch. Can't remember how much I exploited it in the tribal stage though. But if this glitch is exploited fully, I think it could be rather useful in speedruns for both the creature stage and the tribal stage.
I have had the same glitch once as well it was only one nest of creatures that I could recruit infinitely as they kept producing more (laying eggs?) and I got to around 15-20 pack mates

I remember a glitch where I had a nest that was in the water. Whenever I went onto the land it killed me as if I swam too far out with the big sea creature. I wasn't able to replicate this ever and it also made the save file unplayable going forward, but I thought it was pretty cool and worth sharing. Edit: I do see you mentioned this at 7:45. I am kinda glad that I wasn't the only one to ever experience this.

I've had it happen and I think its something to do with skipping/ spamming escape in the cutscene after cellstage where you swim up to the surface and walk onto land

not to be all "erm actually" on a 2 month comment but the way the waternest glitch actually happens is super interesting! at least from sporewiki, the values of water and land get swapped in a sense (i don't know the intricacies of the code, but let's represent water as 1 and land as 0, since land does nothing and water summons the sea monster) . though water and land are supposed to be 1 and 0 respectively, land becomes 1 and water becomes 0 . it is not an artifact of the aquatic stage, though. i'm guessing it would be even buggier (a la flora editor) or would at least have food sources, but it's entirely barren. would also imply the creature would just be floating on top of the water the whole stage, which from what little we see is inaccurate. what many people don't realize is that the aquatic stage was, from what we know, planned to be closer to a long-term choice to stay in the water. you would have had underwater vehicles, underwater tribes, and...i dunno what space stage would be im ngl. it seems to have been scrapped early in dev, and i imagine that though spore does use a very consistent game world (i've extincted things in the creature stage that filled out the ecosystem in space stage and ended up with a few holes in my ecosystem) it probably wouldn't use the same game world for aquatic games and land-based games, nor would it get past to the point wher eit'd become a glitchy artifact. thank god for special interests enabling me to write youtube essays about things that aren't even in the game lmao
I love how the planet in spore never changes, its always consistent, like how eqsy would it be to make the sky just a skybox? But if you fly up there you see the space outside your planet.. noone is meant to ever even see that! Same with going around the whole planet, it actually acts as a sphere like latter stages

Aw man after all these years I have always wanted to go to the other continents in creature stage but now I find out you actually can (and there are nests you can migrate to there too lol).
Hello! (I might be wrong about this.) I believe the overlapping feet bug at 9:56 may have been caused by a mod that changes how feet and arms are placed but still results in a sharable creature. I am think that the first set of feet (which are rotated, another part of the mod) might not be attached to the limbs like limb parts, but like decoration parts, meaning they are on the surface of the joint's skin rather than attached to the joint. The mod is a very interesting one. I created a creature called "Footface" which has a paw over its mouth, unattached to any limb at all. Spore's server doesn't verify that these graspers or feet are attached to any limb part when uploading, and so they are completely uploadable to the sporepedia.
That's an interesting mod! It might be possible that a mod could have caused it. Error did have some mods installed at the time but didn't think the mods they had would have cause this, which is why I still considered including showing it in the showcase. And still interesting to me that if this was the result of mods that the creature still works in my vanilla game too!
I don't know if it's possible, but if someone can do it it's probably you, so do you think you can finish the game "alone"? no other creatures on your pack, only one tribe member and 1 vehicle per city.
Tribal Stage sounds absolutely impossible. You would also have to start Civilization Stage as Economic, since that might be the only way you can capture cities with only one vehicle.
Creature sounds doable but slower, I've beat Tribal Stage just with the 3 starting members before on Easy difficulty (the chieftain and the 2 others) but haven't tried it with just 1 tribe member, and Civ can be done with just 1 Economic tank total to buy the other 3 cities on the home continent and then ally merge with the other nations to complete Civilization Stage!
@KinglyValence A huge problem is that you have to finish Tribal Stage as Industrious in order to start Civilization as Economic, since getting economy tanks from villages probably breaks the rules of the challenge. I genuinely have no idea how you could solo Tribal Stage with only your chieftain, especially since the moment he dies you'd lose the Stage. You also start with 3 other tribe members that you'd have to lose somehow. Even if you could micro like a madman and wipe out entire tribes with only your chieftain (without dying), I have no idea how you'd socialize other tribes with only your chieftain in order to finish Blue.
My favorite sporetuber who inspired me to pick up the game again, idk if you'll ever see this but I love your content. For some cell->space playthrough builds you have to crosspath in civ stage, like going from religious to military or military to economic, are there any tricks for starting religious/military and ending economic on hard?
Number 1 tip I can give is make your last hard save at the end of tribal before going on to civ. Sometimes economic cities don't even spawn and the only way to change that is resetting to before the start of civ. Number 2: pick a buddy, trade with them to boost their economy, but don't buy their cities. Let them conquer the world for you, then when it's just you two, buy three of their cities.
Thank you! :D I actually have a video specifically on starting Civilization Stage Military and ending Economic on Hard! :D th-cam.com/video/LOm4_F8r6tw/w-d-xo.html
Any info on why the ocean nest glitch happens to begin with? I remember it puzzling me so much as a kid. I wish I had known the way to escape the softlock back then. So many failed playthroughs 😅
I'm not sure what makes it happen naturally, but I decided to include it because I've seen a few people describing this occurring. Maybe it was an older version bug that was fixed. For this video I manually removed the land around the nest using Planet Sculpting tools from another saved Space game to create the same effect!
10:17 this happend to me before but in tribble stage where my leader just didnt die, it apears to happen when you heal Just as you die this way i beat hard mode tribble stage with an invicible king, very very overpowered
i didnt even know dna can go in the negative and a bunch of these other things WOW. i was just watching the tiny creature one like O_O you can get around not being able to edit certain early creatures THIS easily??? just dragging the png in??? for invisible limbs its way easier to just move one of the middle joints so the base "snaps" into position above the dais, then you can shrink it and have it turn invisible i discovered the ability to eat from a distance just on my own when i was a kid. you can also skip the eating animation if you have glide, just click on a fruit on a bush and press space twice and you get free food points very quick, i use this a lot. i also found the space+backspace one for flying really high on my own as a kid oh yeah!!! the creature stage underwater spawn!!! didnt they patch this? i remember getting it too i just wonder HOW it even happens too. ill need to look into it if i can i really need to try the flying really fast one that looks really fun to mess around with that creature healing is very odd.. can the healing at ally/home nest thing apply to npcs somehow??? oh my god id love to mess around with the infinite packmates too. i need my giant creature army
I think it's because the creature is too large to be used, so the game automatically scales it down but since the part that is distanced from it is so far away it just makes the creature look tiny
Once at the Tribal stage I was able to train more animals than possible. I had 5 of them. I have no idea how it happened, but it happened, which means such a trick is possible. The only thing I remember is that at the Creature stage I had 2 hermits in the flock. While I was training the third creature on the Tribal Stage, a spaceship arrived. I think the glitch has something to do with the spaceship.
Didn't know most of those yet. The invisible Limb Glitch also works on the Front of the Body. Perfect for Snakes and similar Animals because this will change the legless up and down Movement to moving sideways. The Telekinesis Glitch gives me a Idea for a Creature with a large Head that also uses its Telekinesis to float above the Ground
I feel like this is probably a super common question, but I haven't been able to find an answer to it. Is there a way to play in the creature stage using a saved creation from the _full_ creature creator? (As opposed to the _early_ creature creator.)
So does exceeding the complexity meter with that dna overload glitch de-pollinate the creation in the sporepedia and mark it with the red complexity meter icon, making it impossible to share/appear in games? Or does it evade that
I've done the tiny creature glitch. However I've found one issue with it, and that's that while it has no issues on creature stage and looks absolutely hilarious on space stage communicators, for some reason if the creature is small enough, it makes your creature normal-sized but with hyper-epic-sized hitbox, making it so big spaces are too small to fit and making it so when you appear on a battle, the entire battlefield focuses on your from a mile away. Still, totally recommended to have just to have an ally or a race with funny size.
Ive sometimes been able to keep "call pack"-creatures when moving to tribal stage, so that they show up as pets in my pen along side my actual pack, massively exceeding the three creature limit. The egg production outpace my tribemembers collection in those cases. This has happened on several occasions, but ive never been able to make it work consistently.
I'd definitely like to see a reliable way to replicate the underwater nest glitch to answer various questions like, can a city spawn from this glitched nest and if yes, will it be partially or fully underwater or will it create an island or peninsula around itself?
I dont know if this is a glitch or not, but I once had a friendly giant. It was the banana looking species and I saw them as a regular species aswell so I decided to brefriend them and the giant also became friendly. I tried to add him to my pack but it didn't work, I don't remember why since it was a long time ago but I never saw him again and got quite sad.
I've heard others recalling this glitch as well. I believe this glitch occurs on the earliest version of Spore but has been patched out since. I mostly play on the latest version of Spore so I haven't gotten a recording of it.
It's crazy to still see people exploring glitches in this game. Makes me want to pick it up and give it another shot - any advice for someone looking to run this on a modern machine? Last few times I tried were spotty.
I remember as a kid i experienced a very strange glitch where i was born in the hands of an epic creature. Im not sure if i had been previously killed by that epic but it was incredibly strange and funny for child me. my creature basically hatched from its egg while being held by the epic which also meant that i died immediately after the hatching cutscene ended.
Hey! I just wanted to tell you about a silly glitch in the creature editor, with some similar steps to the invisible limbs glitch. First, i made a creature with a small tail on the ground. Then, i added some legs at the end of the tail of the creature, Even though, it only has to be 1 leg, and not 2 as showed in the invisible limbs glitch. Now, just remove the body and anything else that isnt the tip of the tail with the leg. Now, if you have done it correctly then you have a creature that is just a leg, and nothing else.
This was able to remove the entire spine and just leave a leg? I tried but couldn't remove the last 2 spine bones. Do you have a clip? Or maybe I'm not understanding the glitch completely?
I did the infinite pack glitch with the wobble D wobble. Basically, my creature was really really under leveled in everything, so I allied with the wobble Dwobble to get some better socializing, but I just kept adding them to my pack over and over and over.
That's interesting that a lot of people get it when doing the "no evolution" challenges or really low level creatures. I've gotten it 1 time since this video and I was doing a no evolution run as well. I wonder if that has something to do with it or a coincidence.
Theres a glitch in creature stage that make your creature immortal but softlock the game, i like to call it "zombie creature" because of the fact that the game think us is dead but at the same time alive, to do this. You need to die. When you die, have a tiny cutscene, use control, alt, delete and spam escape, making this, the game bug, now go to options and save the game or save the game using controls and s, after this, is just reload the save and you can only move your creature using the map (this make the sea monster don't appears tho). If i have some english errors, sorry. i'm not a english speaker. (The creatures ignore's you If you do this glitch)
In the last glitch were the species the same creatures that spawn from siren song call? My guess is if you befriend them at a nest that is why they don’t count
The exceed packmate glitch used creatures that aren't from the Summon Flock creatures. Now that I think of it, those default Flock creatures don't seem to show up as a regular nest creatures.
@@SourAttmoz I've found if the game reloads too quickly, if you have a really good computer, increasing the Lighting Quality in settings will make it take longer to reload and give more chance to spam Escape. But it can be tricky to get every time.
I accidently found a glitch while trying to replicate the sea monster pass. Basically i tried going back to my home continent but i died to an epic and i pressed ctrl alt del esc and i was stuck untill i saved and quit and when i came back i was alive, kind of. I couldnt move but only using the map click and no creatures acknowledged me. even the sea monster didnt kill me so i could roam the whole planet without the worry of dying. however you cannot attack or do anything while in this state
I believe I know this glitch, did you control, alt, delete during the respawn cutscene after you died? It's kind of hard to perform on purpose but we can basically "break out of the cutscene" and be in a weird state. Here's a possible example of doing this during the end cutscene of Creature Stage during the "making a fire" cutscene. th-cam.com/video/guI3o5ftFdk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=td0fmgu9CGL-1OHj
We can get really high with this glitch and I've seen it's possible to reach the other planets in the sky (they aren't solid you'll go through them) but it's pretty cool! Not sure about a sustained orbit, and we'd have to keep using the sea monster bypass a lot.
I've always wondered if it is possible to be abducted by a UFO in creature stage? I've seen other nearby creatures get abducted but never been able to have the UFO target my creature specifically.
I don't I've seen our creature or our packmates get abducted in Creature Stage, but I have heard it's possible for our tribe members to get abducted by the space ship! It would be a really cool Galactic Adventure to make it appear like we are abducted in Creature Stage and need to bust out all the other creatures in the cargo lol.
@@KinglyValence I remember as a kid hearing a rumor that if you get abducted by the UFO in creature stage you'd instantly evolve straight to space stage. It would be cool if that was the case, but I'm sure that was just the dreams of some imaginative children. I always wondered how the game would actually handle that case though / if it's possible. I'd assume your creature would just die. That'd definitely would be a cool Galactic Adventure map though, ha ha.
The movement glitches work in Galactic Adventures as well! And GA has its own exclusive movement trick that's even easier too! All it requires is feet with at least jump level 4, then pause, hold W, while holding W press Space for Jump, release W, and unpause. And that will send our Captain flying! :D
The other nests are the same locations as Civilization Stage cities, so if you know where those are it may make it easier to find. Using the "freecam" cheat can also help look for them. And setting the Lighting Quality to High in the graphics settings may help the glitch as well, it takes longer for the game to be brought back up and gives more time to spam Escape :)
The duplicating parts glitch? It does work. It can be kind of difficult though, it may take a few tries but does get easier with practice :) The editing does make it look easier than it is because I cut out my attempts to make the presentation better.

Even if you could micro like a madman and wipe out entire tribes with only your chieftain (without dying), I have no idea how you'd socialize other tribes with only your chieftain in order to finish Blue.
woo! the spawning in water softlock has been explained! thanks!
Thank you! :D
I actually have a video specifically on starting Civilization Stage Military and ending Economic on Hard! :D th-cam.com/video/LOm4_F8r6tw/w-d-xo.html
@@KinglyValence wooo, i take it this applies almost identically to religious?
Thanks for making this video! These glitches are great for both speedrunning and regular gameplay! Another great video
7:58 didn't we want the aquatic stage
I love your videos keep up the good work!
For this video I manually removed the land around the nest using Planet Sculpting tools from another saved Space game to create the same effect!
good video as always mate! :)
10:17 this happend to me before but in tribble stage where my leader just didnt die, it apears to happen when you heal Just as you die this way i beat hard mode tribble stage with an invicible king, very very overpowered
That's interesting! That's cool the Tribal Chieftain was able to become invincible as well? That's good to know!
@@KinglyValence i hoped the info helped, if thats so your welcome i wish some day we figure out how to do these glitches
i didnt even know dna can go in the negative and a bunch of these other things WOW. i was just watching the tiny creature one like O_O
you can get around not being able to edit certain early creatures THIS easily??? just dragging the png in???
for invisible limbs its way easier to just move one of the middle joints so the base "snaps" into position above the dais, then you can shrink it and have it turn invisible
i discovered the ability to eat from a distance just on my own when i was a kid. you can also skip the eating animation if you have glide, just click on a fruit on a bush and press space twice and you get free food points very quick, i use this a lot. i also found the space+backspace one for flying really high on my own as a kid
oh yeah!!! the creature stage underwater spawn!!! didnt they patch this? i remember getting it too i just wonder HOW it even happens too. ill need to look into it if i can
i really need to try the flying really fast one that looks really fun to mess around with
that creature healing is very odd.. can the healing at ally/home nest thing apply to npcs somehow???
oh my god id love to mess around with the infinite packmates too. i need my giant creature army
4:22 if pushing that floating part below ground makes you tiny, does pushing that part into the sky make you huge?
I think it's because the creature is too large to be used, so the game automatically scales it down but since the part that is distanced from it is so far away it just makes the creature look tiny
Once at the Tribal stage I was able to train more animals than possible. I had 5 of them. I have no idea how it happened, but it happened, which means such a trick is possible. The only thing I remember is that at the Creature stage I had 2 hermits in the flock. While I was training the third creature on the Tribal Stage, a spaceship arrived. I think the glitch has something to do with the spaceship.
Lovely video as always!
Great video!
Hopefully you figure out the mystery glitches and can use them for faster speedruns!
Will you do playthroughs with all 10 Archetypes? Good job so far.
I feel like this is probably a super common question, but I haven't been able to find an answer to it. Is there a way to play in the creature stage using a saved creation from the _full_ creature creator? (As opposed to the _early_ creature creator.)
You use the cheat "evoadvantage".
@@Geta92 ahh ok thanks g
So does exceeding the complexity meter with that dna overload glitch de-pollinate the creation in the sporepedia and mark it with the red complexity meter icon, making it impossible to share/appear in games? Or does it evade that
10:16 That glitch happened in my recent playthrough. It was weird but I don't remember getting multiple kills from it.
8:42 bro went to the space stage early
I remember messing with the forgotten spore mod and, after i annihilated another species, both my species and theirs got extinct.
the king hath returned
I'd definitely like to see a reliable way to replicate the underwater nest glitch to answer various questions like, can a city spawn from this glitched nest and if yes, will it be partially or fully underwater or will it create an island or peninsula around itself?
YOOO another kinglyvalence vid! :D
@@KinglyValence Sadge, that's why I never got it again.
It's crazy to still see people exploring glitches in this game. Makes me want to pick it up and give it another shot - any advice for someone looking to run this on a modern machine? Last few times I tried were spotty.
10:17 happened to me at least twice before, it's so weird! freaked me out the first time i saw it-
I remember as a kid i experienced a very strange glitch where i was born in the hands of an epic creature. Im not sure if i had been previously killed by that epic but it was incredibly strange and funny for child me. my creature basically hatched from its egg while being held by the epic which also meant that i died immediately after the hatching cutscene ended.
another day another banger. do you intend on incorporating these glitches into your full-game speedruns if you are still running that catagory?
Thank you!
I'll likely get back into more full game speedruns one day! :D These tricks will definitely come in handy then!
@@KinglyValence looking forward to it! I'd watch the hell out of spore speedrun livestreams, honestly
Thanks for another video on this game!
I had the ocean bug and was sooo confused as a little kid :(
7.40 yes I had this as a kid! haven't seen it happen to anyone else til this video
Wish i knew this when i was a kid. Would be super amazed
That glitch where you get that many kills actually happened to me lol
new kinglyvalence video is always a nice suprise
I did the infinite pack glitch with the wobble D wobble. Basically, my creature was really really under leveled in everything, so I allied with the wobble Dwobble to get some better socializing, but I just kept adding them to my pack over and over and over.
That's interesting that a lot of people get it when doing the "no evolution" challenges or really low level creatures. I've gotten it 1 time since this video and I was doing a no evolution run as well. I wonder if that has something to do with it or a coincidence.
I honestly still don’t know how I got through creature stage on that creature. It’s almost as underleveled as the Grox without their cybernetic parts.
@@KinglyValence Narotiza got it on the original pitiful worm
Theres a glitch in creature stage that make your creature immortal but softlock the game, i like to call it "zombie creature" because of the fact that the game think us is dead but at the same time alive, to do this. You need to die. When you die, have a tiny cutscene, use control, alt, delete and spam escape, making this, the game bug, now go to options and save the game or save the game using controls and s, after this, is just reload the save and you can only move your creature using the map (this make the sea monster don't appears tho). If i have some english errors, sorry. i'm not a english speaker. (The creatures ignore's you If you do this glitch)
Here's an example of this glitch! th-cam.com/video/cVRP1LLv9zs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=MU8_dXYbOBI7XtzE
Maybe I can add this glitch in future glitch videos!
yeah yeah ok i subscribe ;D
In the last glitch were the species the same creatures that spawn from siren song call? My guess is if you befriend them at a nest that is why they don’t count
The exceed packmate glitch used creatures that aren't from the Summon Flock creatures. Now that I think of it, those default Flock creatures don't seem to show up as a regular nest creatures.
Man, the Continent Switch glitch doesn’t work for me. It works a bit, then suddenly kills me randomly.
The sea monster still got you on another continent after a while even after migrating to a nest on that continent?
@@KinglyValence No, I was on ocean, i spam escape after the CTRL ALT DEL and I’m an egg again
@@SourAttmoz I've found if the game reloads too quickly, if you have a really good computer, increasing the Lighting Quality in settings will make it take longer to reload and give more chance to spam Escape. But it can be tricky to get every time.
@@KinglyValence thanks
Oh wow. Didn't think you were still posting
Here's a possible example of doing this during the end cutscene of Creature Stage during the "making a fire" cutscene. th-cam.com/video/guI3o5ftFdk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=td0fmgu9CGL-1OHj
today is a great day!
could you theoretically enter orbit with the flight launch + mating call glitch?
We can get really high with this glitch and I've seen it's possible to reach the other planets in the sky (they aren't solid you'll go through them) but it's pretty cool! Not sure about a sustained orbit, and we'd have to keep using the sea monster bypass a lot.
This is a great video, but can I ask for a kill all epics video?
Yep, it's on the list! ;)
Do these movement glitches also work in Galactic Adventures missions?
The movement glitches work in Galactic Adventures as well!
And GA has its own exclusive movement trick that's even easier too! All it requires is feet with at least jump level 4, then pause, hold W, while holding W press Space for Jump, release W, and unpause. And that will send our Captain flying! :D
The sea monster bypass is very hard to pull off. do you know where i can find a nest on the other continent
@@KinglyValence i figured out that you can actually claim the nest through freecam. and i sucessfully did it

The duplicating parts glitch? It does work. It can be kind of difficult though, it may take a few tries but does get easier with practice :) The editing does make it look easier than it is because I cut out my attempts to make the presentation better.
