Have u ever actually tried a full bodied lager . Like staropramen or Estrella or Brooklyn lager .. the big big commercial lagers are all absoloutly horrendous . 1666 is ok out of a tap in France . That's about it
@@robbieevans5236 weirdly enough i’ve always said that staropramen and estrella were good lagers out of most. san miguel is almost in the league as well but yeha most popular lagers are awful
Another concept that may work if you were gonna back to the review side of things is you could do ‘best of each Country’ reviews. You could do for example Moretti vs Peroni for Italy, give both a rating and pick a favourite. Paulaner vs Erdinger for Germany and so on. Might be nicer than those mostly awful craft beers.
The fact that watery, macro brew giant American beers have penetrated the Irish pub is a travesty. Travesty! Much better lagers available from the continent.
Heineken does have a pronounced "European lager" flavor to it. It does have a pine hoppy flavor to it. I drink Budweiser heavy a lot, and you can notice the beechwood flavor and the rice water smell. For some reason, Budweiser heavy gives me bad hangovers.
All four of these are dreadful beers especially from cans. Peroni and Moretti are far nicer lagers. Wouldn’t be a bad idea to review or do something with them.
I prefer Coors tbh as its very smooth and is the lesser evil out of all of them shown in my view except I do like Carlsberg Unfiltered. I hate Smithwicks because I think it's very watery with very faint ale taste but love a drink of Kilkenny Ale the odd time! 😅
@@gazo6159 Cans keep it fresher because it blocks all light. Brown glass is next best. Clear and green glass is useless. Drinking from the can itself tastes disgusting. Poured into a glass is the only way.
Still Irish....sad the south doesn't have an Irish beer apart from Rockshore... Harp is still popular in Louth and around the border...I've drunk harp in New York
Why'd you fill them so much? It becomes much harder to switch them around. Next time fill halfway, have someone switch them for you for atleast 30 seconds.
Heineken is a very over rated beer in my opinion. Of these 4 i prefer the light flavor and smoothness of Carlsberg. Just another opinion. No wrong answer
I love these kinds of reviews because it shows that "The cheap American" beers are can actually compete. I think because people see the name, they instantly disregard it, but when you do taste tests like this blind folded or not knowing what is what, it surely has a different outcome. Nice review!
@@ThisisFerrariKhan We don't drink them here in the US? Garbage beer? That's why they have been around for several decades right? Stop with the trolling kid, you don't know what you are talking about, but nice try!
Couldn't stand any lager the moment I started drinking bitter then went one better with Guinness (aka black gold). So now I view lager with the same frame of mind as the other awful fizzy muck pressecco!!!
when you let macro lager sit on the table for that long, it's not going to be as good. Coors light does not belong in there- zero credibility. coors light has nothing going on
Love watching your videos lads, but the last 2 or 3 videos...mehhhhh!You might wanna have do a dry run before you do this again cause youse are all over the shop!
did he just say "cant really smell with the blindfold on"?? Never change Guru 😂😂😂
When Colzy mentioned "Prazsky" hahaha I'm 22 & I have been drinking it for years 😂😂😂
Bud and Coors in the final. Heineken and carlsberg are IMO the only ones with a bit of flavour out of the four. Interesting.
Agreed.
They are all shite beers but Heineken would be the most premium and better lagers out of them for sure
wow a special guest appearance from micheal fassbender🍺🍺🍺
Interesting experiment, I must try this. Heineken is my tipple at the moment, used to be Kronenbourg.

So much money invested for consumers, you can't escape.
Good to hear you started a podcast lads, gonna give her a listen now
Try the carlsberg unfiltered.. Top notch
Agree
Why didn't you use frosted glasses

Speaking plainly, Irish people love cheap American beer.
Heineken is me favourite beer, everyone has there own opinion! 👍
I love Praszky too
Prazsky solid beer. You can get over here in Oz.
Pilsner Urquell 🥇🏆😎🤙🏻
Merry Christmas Daragh
Heineken is 5% strange to compare to a 3.8 carlsberg which is much more of a session beer. Also are those lager glasses ?
Carl’sberg is actually 5% abv aswell the same as Heineken
@@IndianaBeerReviews no it ent its 3.8

@@Dreyno ah yes, an educated man ;)
@@Dreyno yeah it may be “fresher” but it tastes extremely metallic out of a can. So idk how fresh anything not in a glass bottle can really taste.
Interesting. Thanks!
You REALLY need to review some German/Munich beers...Hofbrauhaus, Paulaner, Lowenbrau and Monkshauf.
Pratzky is world class 8 for €9
Where is our foam
No Irish lager .....What about harp
Harp is almost gone in Ireland. Only sells in Northern Ireland these days.
Still Irish....sad the south doesn't have an Irish beer apart from Rockshore...
Harp is still popular in Louth and around the border...I've drunk harp in New York
1. Bud
2. Busch latte
3. Shiner Bock
4. Carlsberg
5. Peroni
Kronembourg is the my favourite larger can’t stand any of the weaker American beers especially hate bud light
Coors is absolute pish. Flavourless
Why'd you fill them so much? It becomes much harder to switch them around. Next time fill halfway, have someone switch them for you for atleast 30 seconds.
Id defo say between heineken and carlsberg 100% the other 2 dont compare

I think you've poured them bad at an angle that's why you're belching. The germans pour it flat with a big foam head.
You forgot harp
Took 1:15 to realise that they are in a call

Industrial beers really.

Coors is water...sorry...I’m a Texan...
Exactly..the best beer to drink 12 or more.
I'd go Coors, Heino, Budweiser and I just wouldn't drink Carlsberg as its fuck rotten
You lost me when you said budweiser tasted better than carlsberg lol
Absolute evil shit that is. I've got a can of coors right next to me and I can't even finish it but its all wank.
none of these beers are good but for me by far Heineken is the best of the poor bunch
Imo Budweisers malty taste makes it the standout lager out of any of the commercial competition .

LOL, its just a piss test.

Swear carlsberg is a pilsner

opens a regular Heineken...
Budweiser and Coors are piss tier.
Work on the sound. If you are fine with this, who cares for your opinion for beer. Moving on.
Bud is nasty tbf
Bud is king
Yeungling is the best american lager 🍺 hands down. Anyone who disagrees is an alcoholic lol
Sam Adams is the best US beer…so I guess I’m an alcoholic 😂

Yuengling Premium 👍🏾
Hophouse 13 best lager in the game
Those are all garbage. Stouts and porters are the best. Those German lagers are terrible.
heineken is one of the worst followed by coors , germans and the czechs make the best beer
