- I can't believe the phase luck! First phase Shiny Trapinch, under odds. I'm not sure what's going on with this file but long may it continue with the remaining hunts and ones planned for post-game!
She's such a beauty. I love the dark green colours and the line across her body. I truly adore this line. I say in the video that Trapinch is quite a nostalgic Pokemon for me as I used one on my first playthrough to possess a shiny one in her original generation, I couldn't be happier honestly. Vibrava and Flygon are some of my favourite Pokemon designs, period.
I hope you enjoy the Colosseum showcase. Sadly Flygon's 3D model in Colosseum is a little disappointed in its shiny form but Vibrava is a real beauty.

Loving the third Gen hunts! Going to try a repel trick hunt for Dewgong in FR this week. In Icefall Cave Waterfall Room it has a 20% encounter rate, and repel trick at Lv 49 makes it so only Dewgong appear. Should be fun

I love your videos! I'm shiny hunting for about 5 years now! I did many 1/4096 hunts but the old full odds always excited me. Your dream team quest inspired me to do this as well in all the generations from 2 to 5! Currently I finally got my treecko in ruby on 12.4k resets and trapinch is on this target team as well! Good luck on your future hunts and keep up the great content!

First phase! That's awesome! I hate how this sounds, but I thought you had to have phased for this at least once before watching the video. xD Flygon is one of my top 5 favorite Pokémon, and I love Trapinch. I also plan on hunting it for my Ruby/Sapphire dream team. Huge congrats! 😊

Good luck with your future DTQ. I am currently hunting for shiny swablu on sapphire, first phase at 23,098 encounters. In my 8 years of playing I havent gotten a single shiny and with my luck itll probably stay that way. Welp, lets hope you have better luck on your hunts!

I have a particular story with this place. Years ago, I saw Sandslash's shiny sprite in Ruby / Sapphire and decided I wanted one, so I started searching in this desert. Months after, I found a shiny Trapinch. Not the one I wanted but I was happy nonetheless.
Years after, I decided to complete my Pokedex in Pokemon Sapphire. At some point, I needed to go to this desert to catch a Baltoy. I searched for 10 minutes, and I found another shiny Trapinch. I was kinda disappointed to get another one (it's a 30% encounter rate) but since I didn't searched for it I was still happy.
Later, I was playing Pokemon Snakewood, a romhack of Pokemon Emerald. And when I got to the desert, I found another shiny Trapinch. This time, since it was on emulator, this shiny had no value and I was kinda pissed and amused at the same time : Finding three times the same shiny is kinda fun ngl.
Even later, I was playing another hackrom on an emulator, don't remember which. And guess what ? When I got to this desert, I found a FOURTH shiny Trapinch.
I still have the first two on my original Ruby, and this story still amuses me to this day

Oh lord... I remember one time I was playing Pokémon X, and I happened to randomly just run into a shiny trapinch. I looked at it, and my noob ass brain was like... "why is this thing green?"... and... I ran away from it... yeah, I'm so glad I'm smarter now 😂.

I’m learning to shiny hunt and I’m starting in fire red for gba and i keep seeing that u can only capture one dog legendary based on the start pokemon you choose, but I’m wondering if u could move the Pokémon to a different device when u capture and start a new game pick a different starter and catch a different dog or do you need a completely different game and one more question what’s a good Pokémon to use on legendary and a good move set to capture the legendary Pokémon if I’m barely starting out

Found out yesterday that you can get infinite Luxury Balls on Firered and Leafgreen.
You have to save a rich girl in Lost Cave, and then you can visit her house on Five Island.
She asks for a Pokemon you already caught, and when you show it to her, she may give you a Luxury Ball.
Got 3 already in like 10mins.

Yes, that's all he can do. You can't hunt a wild Milotic in Ruby.

Last week i was double hunting in white and white 2,after like 8 hours without a shiny I stopped the hunt and start playing my diamond version,in my first encounter I got a shiny tentacool,always appears when u are not looking for it :c

Ive asked this before and my google-fu isnt strong enough but what are these "phases" you mention from time to time, example in this video: "I was not expecting that first phase."
Im very curious.
Phasing is getting a shiny that's not your target. Getting something first phase is getting your target before any other shiny(Ex: Trapinch) before anything else. Second phase is getting a shiny that isn't your target and then your shiny target(Ex: Sandshrew then Trapinch)
