The majority of natives also voted for Harris, but Native Americans are just lumped into the "other" category in the polls. Native Americans deserve their own category. They are probably the biggest reason why "other" had almost 50% for Harris. That 50% was probably mostly Native votes.
I am not native, but I do live on the Navajo reservation in a rental home. I am so proud of the native communities for all their political participation. Not only are they organizing to vote, a lot more natives are running for local office and winning these days. I am a huge ally for natives taking back ownership of America!! And that's why I told my fourth graders in my class on Wednesday - that sadly, the American people elected a president who has less competence, both in his language and in logical thinking, than they have. And this is simply a fact. The Kids in my class have greater eloquence than Trump. They have already learned that they can make their points clear without becoming verbally abusive. Unfortunately, the people who voted for Trump have not only failed the rest of America, but the rest of the sane world as well. At least as a German I no longer have to listen to US Americans asking me how on earth 1933 could have happened in my country.

I am seeing black people in this event two ways:
    1) Those of us who are traveling the arc of personal growth, our lesson in this is to release the idea of America. We are tasked with developing our vision now under diamond pressure.
    2) Those among us still asking for permission to be--those playing double dutch with self hate--they are in the throes of what manipulation means.
I will say that the release lesson is enormously freeing, especially when divinity has stripped away the useless ways we are tasked to be empathic. Now that all that pressure to carry the energy of revolution is off of our shoulders, we are finally free to make a revolution of our own.

Wow this was beautifully written, I want these words on a poster somewhere in my home. This is so beautiful and so true. At first I was utterly devastated, but you're right in the past few days I feel more free than ever. This gave me the push I need to pursue some more education that will allow me to work abroad. I'm not saying leaving is the solution for all...but it is for me. In my late 20s. I've always wanted to leave this country, but it's a big and expensive step. I was playing by the rules, barely able to save or do anything at my low end job while fees rise. Why should I continue this rat race? I'm sitting here fighting to make ends meet and fighting for a country that doesn't want me. Generations of black women fighting for acceptance over and over. I will always be grateful. bc their efforts led to the freedoms we have. There are people fighting now to help future generations. But to me, the best way to "fight" is to live my life by example, in my peace and prosperity, and show my people they can do whatever and go wherever they set their minds to, and bring value everywhere they go.
But I am done fighting for this country and carrying its weight on my shoulders. BW have done more than enough to be the backbone, and a lot of it ends with my generation. I was so tuned into politics this election. I volunteered and stood for hours at those rallies. This election opened my eyes. I see the soul of America now, and it's not compatible with my own. It does not value me. *I have been fighting for a country that needs an amendment, a WRITTEN PERMISSION, to consider me human with basic rights.* That others are simply born with the assumption of having. It's backwards. It's not my fight anymore. I am done and I am free. It's beautiful in a way, it took this for us to become our best selves - the age of Aquarius and truths that spiritual people speak of. And like a phoenix rising from the ashes. Black women are being reborn.

They won't change if they feel hated and alone. That doesn't mean liking them or condoning their actions, but it does mean helping them grow out of situations that keep them oppressed in their personal lives and voting for maniacs. My guess is abusive husbands did a lot of heavy shit this election. We have to help these women out of there.

So well said, and your words made me reflect as I continue to process what happened in this election. I am a middle- aged black female of Caribbean descent who voted for VP Harris. I didn't think it was possible for a black woman to become president in my lifetime, but her campaign gave me hope that it was possible. The defeat was so crushing because for a moment in time I thought Americans could come together for our common good. Inevitably, white supremacy showed me otherwise and reminded me that it is built into the very DNA of this country. The system is operating exactly how it was designed and intended to. Black folk have that brilliant balance of keeping hope alive while also being realistic because like you said we know from experience. Maybe other groups need to experience some things before America can move towards being a more just society. Our ancestors knew that there was a better future if not for them but for their descendants. We are the descendants of that dream to be free from bondage, and I'm going to honor their legacy. After that rest and reprieve, continue to engage politically and be even more vigilant and active in issues that affect the black community, including your local elections and other community affairs.

I’m elderly and disabled. Also queer, white and impoverished. Dependent on government programs that face being cut. I am female as well, I knew since I was a kid that we had to fight for every scrap of equality. There is no big lesson to me, and it has to do with a lot more than just being white and “clueless”. I’m a cynic, and have almost always anticipated the dropping of the second shoe. As I grew older, I stopped hoping for progress in this country. My only take is how stupid people could be to vote against their own interests and rights. I saw it many times, but this time they voted for a straight up dictator. I have no idea why people nowadays would do that to themselves, but I can barely hope for an awakening

My sister: I needed your message today. After being in such despair, I will rise up today with a renewed spirit, and move forward knowing I did my part. What a perspective: this is not our lesson to learn. Thank you!❤❤

What really annoyed me a lot of people in my office said they were voting for Trump. I can't even look at them now but it will be ok

White woman here. I’m NOT ready for what’s coming down. I voted straight blue top to bottom because I did not want to vote AGAINST MY OWN INTERESTS. Why so many people did vote against their interests, I do not and will never understand. I’m hunkering down. I live in the reddest state in the country, the state that hates women the most. I’m going to figure out how I can do more to help women. I salute you, Black Women. 💙💙💙

Consider this response to you as a message from God, my beloved: hunker down and rest yo’self, like many of us Black folk gonna do. But once you regain yo’ strength, consider yourself Pardon from what’s to come and take on a new walk like you mean it. No need to prove yourself to nobody else. We’ll see you for who you are, straight up. And worry not.

I'm sorry but your statement is why black women are fed up with white women. For you to say that you don't know why they voted for a criminal and not the prosecutor is disingenuous. CAN YOU EVEN ADMIT TO YOURSELF THAT HE WON BECAUSE OF PURE RACISM!

We live Consciously and have Discernment. These are fruits of the spirit that God gave us.
