      I only use 1080 p (my tv and PC don't support 4k...).
Your videos with the rear camera are in 1080 p or 4k? And the most important : 30 fps or 60 fps?
Do you recommend me the 1080 p 30 (stutters but great bitrate and good stabilization) or 1080 p 60 (half bitrate and worse stabilisation but fluidity) ? Thanks

The mi 10 Pro is charging at 50W, not 65W.

Nice review. Looks like a very good phone. I'd expect the price to drop a good bit by the summer when there should be a a lot of competition and component prices get cheaper. The poor band support make the Chinese version a bit of a no go for many people in Europe. Other Chinese brands like Huawei and Oneplus give full band support on their Chinese flagship models. Even Oppo(and Vivo to a lesser exent) the last year introduced full European band support on their higher range Chinese models. With Xiaomi now matching these other brands in price, I'd expect them to do the same

You are right about the upscaling to 8K video! Samsung and Xiaomi together developed the 108mp sensor. Xiaomi got the sensor with designation HMX (X for Xiaomi) and is video up to 6K according to specs on Samsung site. Samsung has improved version with HM1 designation. But the specs didn't specify if it is real 8K, can still be upscaled from 6K.

    • @SyukriLajin
      @SyukriLajin 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

it's impossible to get full field of view 8K on less than 128MP camera, it's either they upscale it, or crop the heck out of the 108MP sensor. 108MP pixel binned is just 27MP max, which is less than 32MP(aka 8K res).

In Spain, this band is available from June (when tdt is moved from that band). Also none of the 5g phones with snapdragon x50( s10 5g, note 10 5g...)had that band. In Huawei, only mate 30 pro 5g has it(mate 30, nova 6, honor v30 doesn't have). By now all global snapdragon 865 released have it(realme x50, s20s). Sigue así y gracias de nuevo. Un saludo

Great review! But it would have been even better if you had covered these points too:
    * Charging time might not be that different for 0-100% due to optimizations made for battery longevity, but lower percent charging (e.g. 20-60% or 0-50%) might be significantly faster.
    * How sensitive and responsive is touch screen in games? Older Xiaomi phones (Mi 9, Mi 9T) had inferior response time compared to Samsung flagships and especially new iPhones with 120 Hz touch screen.

it's a good thing that they are upscaling it because that probably mean that they are recording using pixel binned mode at much higher pixel size. it's either upscaling, or a video recorded using 0.8um pixel size.

@@dude2666 I have non pro Mi 9T and it covers the bases with no problems, great battery life & I debloated not long afterI got the phone (no root required), but still I noticed no ads at all, am still on MIUI 11 because I have experienced no problems, may update to MIUI 12 soon.
But yeah all the updates have been stable and I like MIUI, I did buy Galaxy S10 Lite for my father and the level of customisation with One UI is quite amazing to see, but still theme store on MIUI is more than adequate for me.
With Samsung you're certainly paying for a more "premium" software and of course the brand itself with its history of great phones, Samsung stores etc... Although their lineup after S10/Note 10 phones don't appeal to me anymore.
If you look at XDA or main telegram group you will see many roms available if you are into that, personally I still have a locked bootloader and no incentive to unlock or root.
Just remember you are not gonna be rocking a 90Hz display or anything too special.
Oh and imo popup cameras (including this one) are durable as long as you don't get anything in-between the camera compartment/mechanism like grains of sand. However, from the videos I remember watching, I think that if you get anything stuck in there, open the phone up and clean it, I'm pretty confident it would still work with no issues.
Btw I bought non-pro SD 730 cuz apparently better battery life with no real noticeable downgrade in performance, but I mean i don't know if there is a real difference. If I we're purchasing now, I think I might get the pro for a good price just for futureproof & better custom development reasons.
Does not mean I regret my purchase at all, if I had to nitpick then prob number one thing is dual speakers, then there's dual SIM but would also be nice to have micro SD card support just cause I have my previous one which does not get much use now, that's it.
If you think you won't get bored with basics, then go ahead, but I think it's worth looking at other phones IF you would consider a feature such as high refresh display to be worth the price, don't look at software updates and other things with newer/pricier phones, reliability is key, and this phone had that.
How much did I write? I'm out.

However, in my country S10+ in stores would be probably on par or even more expensive with Mi 10 and from this two models I think I would go with Mi 10 because of 90Hz screen, 180Hz touch screen and 5G network, which would be very soon available in my town and parts of the country.
