- You've heard about it by now: the Mi 10 Pro, Xiaomi's latest flagship phone. I've just done a review of this phone a few days ago but today we're going to look at some things in-depth.

How good is that camera really? How good is it at filming video at 8K, 4K, and HD? How good is that 960 fps slow motion in full HD? How does the camera compare to the Mi Note 10? How good is the audio in comparison to the Mi Note 10 and the Mi9? How are the audio output levels over USB-C?
We're going to look at all of these things in-depth as well as look at both day and night photos and day and night videos made with the Mi 10 pro. Its 108-megapixel camera takes some stunning photos, but so does the 108-megapixel camera on the Mi Note 10. -How different is it really?
In many ways, I find the camera quality between the 10-Pro and the note 10 to be very similar. There are a few minor differences between the two that is making the Mi 10 Pro slightly better but it is quite marginal.
The 8K video does offer a huge improvement on the Mi 10 Pro although that is not very well stabilized. The 4K video, however, is very much stabilized and comes out looking much better on the Mi 10 Pro.
More surprising is that the selfie camera on the Mi Note 10 comes out performing better when comparing it to the Mi 10 Pro. -Not surprising when looking at the specs of the camera (20 megapixels on the Mi 10 Pro vs. 32 megapixels on the Mi note 10) but surprising that the higher-end flagship does not have a better selfie camera.
I really do like the audio on the Mi 10 Pro. In every way it sounds better than I have heard on any Xiaomi phone thus far. It's stereo, it's wide, it's loud, it's full and actually has a very impressive low-mid and lower range for a phone speaker. The comparison between the Mi 9, Mi Note 10 and the Mi 10 Pro really shows the difference as I tried to capture the difference as well as I could using a stereo microphone setup.
Overall the Mi 10 Pro comes out better performance-wise when comparing it with the Mi Note 10, but I might do a full video comparing the two really in depth where we go over every single detail: from the processor, the speakers, the screen to the camera and video capabilities of these phones. i think mi 10 pro will be my first xiaomi phone. damn this phone is guddd
My first Xiaomi was (still is, not gonna be upgrading for a bit) the Mi 9 Lite (CC9), and it is hands down the best phone I've ever had. It takes great pictures that people look at and say "wow", it's fast, and on a more shallow note, the aesthetic beauty of the phone is just stunning, people at my school are mesmerized by it and always ask what kind of phone I have and if the back is a case. Whenever I explain that it's the back glass that comes with the phone, they're just speechless. The best phone experience I've ever had, plus I LOVE Xiaomi's software and skin. Definitely buying another Xiaomi when I upgrade
I'm using mi 8 and this is the best phone I ever owned it's performance is still amazing in 2020

I don't care about the cameras in my phone tbh but the speaker being stereo is definitely a consideration to buy this device. Own a Note 10 Pro and couldn't be happier with the lesser bit difference in Photos quality. Strongly believe Mi 10 Pro performs more due to it running better (read as "newer") software.

Hi thanks great review. Did you find the note 10 to be much more sluggish and slow when in photo and video mode? Changing between cameras , shuttered speed etc.
I never experienced both phones but some reviewers said that mi note 10 is much slower when taking 108mp photos

Hey there, I am little bit struggeling about the comparison to the Mi Note. Here in Germany the Mi Note comes in the pro Version with other back cameras beside the 108 MP one. So are the compared pictures from the pro or no pro Note?

OnePlus 8 pro is better than mi 10pro...only lack in battery and even camera is far better than mi camera....go for 1+

Nice job, really nice !!!!! By now, Mi 10 Pro is better than the other phones ... It is also the newest, high performance hardware and I don't think it's a surprise.... What is surprising is the price ... Maybe it's big now, at the first appearance, but anyway, much, much more accessible than other phones with similar claims.

Hi, curious to know the color accuracy of the camera. Like the reds and green. is there clippings?
It's actually a lot more accurate than I ever had before in any Xiaomi phone. It is less saturated and slightly less vibrant on the neutral settings (can adjust in camera settings).
But I personally like the more neutral and less saturated colors on this phone because it is much (much!) more flexible when doing some small color adjustments when editing a photo in Lightroom.
-Arguably not everyone would agree because not everyone really edits the color of their photos, but for those that don't you could increase the saturation in the camera settings...

How long does it take you to colour grade your pictures, or is there some preset that your create that you than apply to all of them at once or do you do it individually file by file, I have no experience in lightroom or Photoshop lol.. But to get the beautiful pictures like you have created, then I'm willing to learn thank you.
I use lightroom it takes me about a minute or two.. I don't have a preset for it but typically if I have a photo-series I just edit the first one and copy-paste that to other photos in the same series.
That way I might only have to do a minor tweak on the other photos from the series and this go very quick.
It might take a little while to get the hang of it but when you do it's really the best app to quickly edit photos in
