This is why OCATC is head and shoulders above every other movie review show. In the last week, based on Tim & Gregg's recommendations, I watched Mass, Mask, The Mask, Mash and Moonstruck. Or, as us movie buffs call them, 'The Big Five'.
Every single commercial airline flight departing in this country should have at least one plainclothes expert on board to address any questions passengers have about the in-flight movies.
I give this idea four bags of popcorn and two little hijackers who have set aside their zealotry to focus on the thing we're all on the plane to see: the movies.
Something I noticed is that they're not playing clips of the movie „Mass“ in the background, but clips of the miniseries „Midnight Mass“. That's a great subtle joke.
The way Tim repeats the word "Mass" when Gregg hits him with his iconic "from?" Is the pinnacle on Cinema moment for me. The look of pure rage in Tim's eyes when Gregg is just having some movie buff fun.
@@billpaxton7525 Makes sense. I have dyslexia but it only affects how I see printed words, it does not come out in my speech. Either way, Tim and Gregg deserve every award for their genuinely incredible performances in this series. 🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿

Tim is actually talking about Astermath, the mathematics of stars and other celestial bodies. Not surprised it went over Gregg’s head (and most Greggheads’ heads too).
We *DID* notice but since it wasn’t really about movies or the mathematics of cinema (lights + camera = ACTION) we just kind of ignored it because we generally like to keep to what the show is about, which is movies and watching movies.
I like how the final flub at the end seems to be the straw that broke the camels back and instantly sends him into full blown senility, at least that's what his face is telling me.

But because he is gregg Turkington he cant admit he is wrong, so rather than voice his respect or even just talk movies with him he continues acting aloof
If it's been a few months I will watch this and I literally have tears in my eyes I'm laughing so hard. Then I show it to my wife and she thinks I am an idiot.
This was a great episode, run time of 12 minutes and 15 seconds, and features Tim Heidecker and a cameo by Gregg Turkington. FROM Deck of Cards and FROM Decker. 5 bagger for sure although I will knock it 1 bag for not reviewing the Bond movie, but I'll give that bag back for Tim's commitment to my health with his RJ shakes. I'll also throw in a little martini keychain to commemorate Gregg's commitment to the Bond franchise.
Greg should be mindful about putting undue pressure on Tim. It is a power play and disrespectful and leads to these types of challenges on Tim's presentation of the material at hand.
I love how Tim's slowly gotten worse and worse at reading too... I don't know many people who can keep making the same joke and it actually gets funnier every time.

As a teacher who works with kids with dyslexia, there’s no way that Tim is just improvising this -it’s too perfect.
*Improvising! Sorry, I hate to be that guy but, y'know, the irony...
He got a little touch of something.
He does. He says for this character he just doesn't do all the things he's learned in dealing with it and leans into it really hard, lol.

Tim is actually the best in the world at fake stumbles that sound real. A hyper specific skill that I had no idea someone could be so good at
This is perhaps Tim’s finest dyslexia in all of on cinema history. Poetry.
