The Zucker brothers hadnt made a movie together for like 13 years before this video came out, so I'm glad Tim thinks they'll continue to make their famous gross-out Judd Apatow style comedies
I'd love to watch James Bond and R2D2 share a screen together. It would be a 5 bagger for sure! Maybe throw in a space ship full of awards because it would top the charts for months.
So here we see the seeds of Gregg's infatuation with genre crossovers that led to Decker vs Dracula. As much as I love the sound of a Bond-R2D2-Bilbo team-up, at this point I just want more D3:DVD.
As an old fart who remembers the shows like Siskel and Ebert, On Cinema is very dear to me. Those shows were something but THIS show is just amazin. The humor is sublime and pervades throughout everything and all the connected properties, for lack of a better word
Good to know the Zucker brothers will still be going strong long into the future. They're taking a long time to make another movie together after 1995's Walk in the Clouds, but I know it takes a lot of time to put all the jokes into their next big movie.
As a film buff and films enthusiast, I only trust On Cinema At the Cinemas online internet webvlog for movie reviews. Real honest film reviews and opinions and a great source of information and reviews for upcoming movies. I only watch what you guys recommend. Overall, I give On Cinema five bags of popcorn and two number-3 combos and maybe throw in some Milk Duds because it's good and fun for the whole family and the movies, I'd say.
It's really the only place to find what the real cinema buffs are saying about these movies. Where else will you find tributes to the true classics like Arthur?
What a bright past memory of a fading film critic. Tim was a god in his best and healthy days. He nails it here. We need more Jack Reachers and fewer James Bond or else cinema will destroy itself.
I for one agree that it would be a hoot, and real treat to see the whole gang, James Bond, R2D2 and Indiana Jones together. However I also agree with Tim's whos says that it aint happnin'!
Gregg's not wrong! A remake of Moonraker has been discussed and that's where I think Bond and R2-D2 will finally get some screentime together. After all, Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman have all appeared in the same movie, so why can't we have _Indiana Jones and the Temple of Bond Identity: An Unexpected Crossover?_
In retrospect Tim whiffed hard here. Bond is stronger than ever and it's never been a better time for Bondheads. Gregg, on the other hand, gives yet another example of his peerless film knowledge and ability to look beyond the immediate distractions to unviel the long term trends that Hollywood has in store for us. Thank you On Cinema, thank you Gregg "The Prophet" Turkinston for being a beacon to guide us in these confusing times. Thank you Tim for having Gregg on the show.
Great prediction guy can't not wait fore more Hobbits Biblo Baggen is a good character and is nice guy as well, also thank you for no more james bond he hates Russian and we are good people now: sorry for english I'm in a laptop on Russia
Tim was right though, they really should've stopped James Bond with Skyfall. the series went on way too long already but Skyfall was the very obvious chance to end it and they totally whizzed it
I thought "OC" stood for something else popularized on imageboards for a moment, and that I had found a link that I'd only previously imagined was true. I still believe it's true, though. It has to be. It wouldn't make any sense otherwise. Unless the zeitgeist is strong within these ones.
It's been 10 years and it is scary how accurate Tim was.
They definitely should have listened to him about Bond movies after skyfall
1:36 I love how pleased Gregg is imagining himself in the distant future watching another Bilbo Baggins movie
Pretty sure Gregg just predicted Ready Player One.
Greg said "Thinking man's movies", so not Ready Player 1...
The prediction of Bilbo Baggins coming back for "not only 2 movies that are planned, but many many more". Got me on that one.
The Zucker brothers hadnt made a movie together for like 13 years before this video came out, so I'm glad Tim thinks they'll continue to make their famous gross-out Judd Apatow style comedies
Tim's understanding of contemporary cinema is constantly about 20-30 years in the past
Bye Bye, Bond.
Shut up. james bond is cool
More Hobbit
RIP Tom Cruise Jr
How did u know
Bond is dead. Tim wins agian
Best part of this is you know Tim only created the concept of “The Future of Cinema” to bash Gregg over the head with the demise of Bond. Lmao
i disagree...
@@regaljohnston3001 well agree to disagree cause you’re wrong friend
Dr. Bond will not be missed!
I'd love to watch James Bond and R2D2 share a screen together. It would be a 5 bagger for sure! Maybe throw in a space ship full of awards because it would top the charts for months.
God this is my oasis of the internet
are you still alive?

Love the Jack Reacher vs. James Bond fued!

A Hobbit Bond star wars cross over film would be an instant hit.
Thanks to Mr. Bond for his years of service.
These movie insights are timeless. And prescient (found out about that word yesterday, and now I'm plugging it in there).
Good to know the Zucker brothers will still be going strong long into the future. They're taking a long time to make another movie together after 1995's Walk in the Clouds, but I know it takes a lot of time to put all the jokes into their next big movie.
DEFINITELY looking forward to some exciting Bond Team-Ups.

Tim was a prophet with his superhero and remake predictions.
I love how Tim sucks Gregg in with the Bilbo talk then immediately tears Bond apart
James Bond and R2D2
+Cave Torcher The funny thing is, Daniel Craig had a cameo in The Force Awakens
Makes you wonder about C-3P0's previous life. A secret agent would have learned alot of languages.
The names D2.
R2-D2..
This show is a lover letter to the movies
at least Gregg acknowledges that a james bond/star wars/lord of the rings/spiderman crossover would be a good commercial move
What a bright past memory of a fading film critic. Tim was a god in his best and healthy days. He nails it here. We need more Jack Reachers and fewer James Bond or else cinema will destroy itself.
Also turkington is right. Bond needs to team up with r2 bilbo and Spider-Man.
Still eagerly awaiting the Bond-Marvel-Hobbit crossover.
I can definitely see R2 and Bilbo together.
Gregg must be really excited about this new Tolkien series, huh?
Dr. James Bond and R2D2 would be a great team-up, FTR.
he's one of the classic characters in cinema.
Those hobbit predictions could still be possible? Fans need their hobbit hugs and tall humans
An artoo detoo & Dr. Bond colabo sounds interesting! Can’t wait.
I like the word colabo. Gonna start using it.
I second that...thank you Doctor Bond...RIP
Gregg was right about the bond cross over.
RIP Bond, and also RIP Tim, God bless.
This was 9 years ago and clearly there was no more Bond. Good call Tim.
Neither Tim nor Gregg could predict the seismic impact that Decker would have on the cinema landscape
A simpler time. #bringthelovebacktoOCAC
Time predictions were actually pretty accurate, superhero movies have been huge since then and after only one more bond movie there hasn’t been more.
it's incredible how much shit people give Tim when he's been proven right time and time again
Also lots of remakes!
Predictions? Or directions.
Tim Heidecker calls the shots in Hollywood.
I for one agree that it would be a hoot, and real treat to see the whole gang, James Bond, R2D2 and Indiana Jones together. However I also agree with Tim's whos says that it aint happnin'!
Tim, how are your blod clots? You look good!
Gotta' love those Zucker Brothers' Movies!
Wish I could like this 5 times instead of just once it's really that good
Gregg's not wrong! A remake of Moonraker has been discussed and that's where I think Bond and R2-D2 will finally get some screentime together. Please stick around guys, I want to see you guys cover Oscar again next year. That was the best.
"Home Alone: Bilbo Baggins" "Home Alone Two: There and Back Again, a New York Tale". There are many Hobbit films to come.
GOD, I thought you guys were going to say Tim couldn't carry on with this show anymore!! Whew!
Tim clearly disagrees at 2:45.
viva senor bond
I have to agree on the James Bond movies.
Bilbo
Very very interesting.
The idea of James Bond and Bilbo Baggins in a film together makes me cackle
In 2024, there are two seasons of Reacher and no Bond movies since 2021.
The funny thing is, Daniel Craig had a cameo in The Force Awakens
Tim's anti-Bond bias is exactly why I'm a Gregghead
greg kills me. also tim.
tim was spot on on his prediction wasn't him lol
He was right about Bond. The final film just came out last year.
Pretty good. Not in 3D or anything. But, pretty good.
Dr. Bond I salute you too.
Its 2024 and I'm still waiting for my James Bond/Bilbo Baggins/R2-D2 movie...
Bond & R2D2, brilliant!
I'd love to see a James Bond X Kirby crossover
Fast & Furious: Hobbit & Shaw
It's so weird to see general affability and agreement between the two
Those virgin mobile commercials are straight off awesome show.
I never liked James Bond movies, or Star Trek for that matter, but if there ever was a James Bond/R2D2 buddy film I might start to reconsider.
RIP Dr Bond
In retrospect Tim whiffed hard here. Bond is stronger than ever and it's never been a better time for Bondheads. Dr. Bond
"More superhero movies". Man, it's like he has a crystal ball or something.
You better get me a napkin, my salivation levels have reached fever pitch at the prospect of all the five-baggers to come.
Great prediction guy can't not wait fore more Hobbits Biblo Baggen is a good character and is nice guy as well, also thank you for no more james bond he hates Russian and we are good people now: sorry for english I'm in a laptop on Russia
i kept waiting for him to do Neil Hamburger :(
I want him to break out and sing some ZCR songs he made back in the day. But he won't. :C
Disney+ 2021: Star Wars: A Bond Story - Into the Spider Wars Universe.
Tim was right though, they really should've stopped James Bond with Skyfall. the series went on way too long already but Skyfall was the very obvious chance to end it and they totally whizzed it
Viva Señor Bond
I wonder, who would win in a fight between James Bond and Spiderman? Or R2-D2 and Bilbo Baggins?
Gregg looks alot like neil hamburger.
He can’t be Neil Hamburger, he doesn’t have glasses
I would like to see James Bond with R2-D2.
So glad The Hobbits coming back. That’s gonna be a real treat.
The world has spoken
I love you.
Tom cruise should be the next bond
Nah…Dennis Quaid

MORE HOBBIT! OLD GREY MEN!
How did he guess the Disney Remakes?
More Hobbit movies looking pretty prescient rn 👀
rip in peace tim #buckedoff
Soooo this satire has turned out to be insanely predictive
The name’s Paul. Paul Blart bleep bloop etc lol
dr bond
Can’t wait to see the hobbit with James Bond.
It seems clear that Bond will have to return in order to officially hand over the reins to Jack Reacher.
Viva Señor Bond!
Dr. Bond. I'd see it.
new gadgets are being invented
He was right about Bond.
Bilbo Bond needs to happen to save the film industry.
