    The reason I'm "shy" is because I don't know what to say. It's more complicated than that actually. I feel the need to be in control of everything... and it makes me a perfectionist who isn't able to talk. I can talk to people I've known for a while. But it's just because I can predict their reactions and in that way I can control them. I'm realizing how weird this sounds but I'm just being completely honest. The question is, how can I overcome this deep need to control?

      @@prachi_s_h it went okay. It took me a whole week to settle down. Actually the problem with me is not just social anxiety but people perceive me as super rude sometimes for no reason so that turns off them...but I am totally opposite of that ,so yeah that can be challenging sometimes 😅

    I only get nervous in front of girls. I don't why it happens to me. But after 2-3 consecutive days i am able to start a conversation with any of them. It take me time to build confidence and overcome nervousness.

    Good Advice.
    Dance classes though i would not recommend to find a partner. All that "its only about dancing" makes flirting harder, you never know are they just nice like to any other dance partner or might there be more. Harder than outside a dance scene due to this.

    I'm not shy though coz I'm good at starting conversations but there's a thing about me which makes me feel dumb. Idk why but i can't dance in public. I'm a good dancer and i do look good while dancing too. And even if Somehow i mustered up the courage and went on the spotlight today but suddenly i forgot everything and this happens with me everytime. Can u guys help me? And i think it's easy to say "don't consider about what ppl say" but sometimes it's getting too hard for me to not consider abt them.

I sometimes clam up when I have to interact with people new or old.. like I always don’t have anything to share and I begin to feel that if I perceive people to be better than me in any area social status, financially or any area. I just stay quiet and my brain freezes

    Before i learn public speaking, i thought that is impossible task for me, but now i can speak on a stage confidently, and for the 1 to 1 speak with stranger and girl has become the new impossible task for me, hahaha, stage is more secure than 1 on 1 conversation.

    I remember going to college and working with groups, I had a panic attack because I felt stuck with a student and we couldn’t leave the class until we finished the assignment so he had to take over. I felt so useless 🤦 it gets in the way of too much of my life.

    Be comfortable with yourself - this makes it easier when you are with other people.
    Ju?t do it - you will become more confident by doing things - especially by doing things which push your boundaries.
