I have even known of people who use baby oil to do the procedure of getting rid of the sebaceous filaments. Would it be safe?

❤ I can't wait to try this! I'm 58 and have battled sebaceous filaments since I was a teenager. I have rosacea and although it's currently "in remission" I cannot use pore strips because it's so sensitive. This hack sounds perfect for me! ❤❤

Thus is such good advice! Oil cleansing and then using a good moisturiser was what sorted my skin out once and for all in my 30s. I thought I had oily skin but I didn't, it was dry. I used to use harsh products to control oil but that irritated my skin and made it overproduce oil. I started blending my own oil for cleansing with apricot kernel oil, vitamin e oil and rosehip oil and my skin calmed down completely. These days I'm over 40 and do skin cycling, but always remember to hydrate. The result is that people think I'm around 35 max and always compliment my skin. And I've passed on my knowledge to my acne prone teenage son, who takes amazing care of his skin and manages to minimise his breakouts. Thanks for the product recommends! ❤

I really wish la roche posay was cruelty free. My derm in mexico recommended me their toleraine dermallegro serum and ISis pharma metrorobil Azelaic acid both are so good I can only buy them abroad though. It sucks they don't sell the best quality products in the US. Thank you for providing cruelty free alternatives to products!

❤With you to the end! Can't wait to try your hack and thanks so much for detailing the process and products - I have the Dr Sam Moisture Intense which is lucky! May I just ask you: is this method something to do alone or can you e.g put retinol on your nose and follow with the intense moisturiser? Wondered if, in combination it'd be even more potent or whether the presence of retinol might cause dryness and defeat the object? Just a thought ❤

@@MadAboutSkin Thanks so much for your reply! Ah I didn't realise it should be that way round - last night I put the retinoid on first and then followed with the Moisture Intense. I had thought a barrier cream might interfere with retinoid absorption if it went first?

That’s interesting… I’ve always been big on skin care and despite having acne prone skin and somewhat oily/combo skin in my T zone, I’ve always been big big BIG on moisturization. Exfoliating once a week, sometimes only every two weeks, masking weekly with a clay, moisturizing mask, but religiously washing and treating my skin twice daily. I even use a VERY light application of Vaseline on my skin every night. No acne. No scarring from my CYSTIC ACNE (due to PCOS). Nothing.

Had a similar situation with air canada. Booked a ticket for 2 passengers from montreal to toronto. Only one person flew to toronto, the other was sick. On the way back the 1 person tried to check in but was told the ticket was cancelled because we broke the ticket contract by only flying 1 person to toronto. The person flying back from yyz to yul had to pay $600 for a last minute 1 way flight., even tho we paid for 2 ppl both ways. 😬
